I'm no Engie main, but from my experience, the best sentry spot - is an unexpected one. Dustbowl have a few of such spots, but since there little advantages at flanking the enemy after they capture first point, my quote better works on Payloads, especially new maps))
Yea I agree, you definitely want to mix up the sentry spots and catch the enemy off guard. Sometimes a sentry spot is so strong that even if you know it’s their it’s hard to clear
@@TomRobinsonYT Yes! The Jag is a melee weapon for the Engineer in Team Fortress 2. It speeds up the construction of buildings but has slightly less damage than the default wrench. The Engineer rollout with the Jag involves efficiently setting up buildings at the start of a round to maximize your team's advantage. Here’s a basic Jag rollout: 1. **Spawn Point:** Start by building a Dispenser right outside the spawn. This allows you to quickly regain metal. 2. **Build Teleporters:** Construct an Entrance near the spawn and then move forward to place the Exit closer to the front lines. The Jag's faster construction speed helps get these up quickly. 3. **Sentry Gun Placement:** After setting up teleporters, place a Sentry Gun in a strategic position to cover choke points or high-traffic areas. Use the Jag to speed up its construction and upgrading. 4. **Dispenser Relocation:** Once the initial setup is done, move your Dispenser to a more forward position to support your team. 5. **Maintaining and Upgrading:** Keep using the Jag to quickly upgrade your buildings while ensuring they are in safe positions.
Eureka effect is amazing for the tele problem you had there. Personally I am not a big fan of how that first spot doesn't actually defend the point. It encourages congregation on the low ground and is a particularly rough position to put your medic in.
