might be, most of time snubber diode failure causes to saturate the core and creates spikes, that also cause to increase in vcc voltage that may be a reason for IC failure. otherwise these chips are most failure items and sometimes snubber diode failure cause to damage the mosfet as well

I have smps and its output is 32v and 15v but it stop working ,when i check the connectivity between 32v and ground the multimeter beeps which is there is short circuit i replace all the component except az 437 transistor what is the problem and the ac part is ok

it depends on package code if it is SOD523 or SOD123 package from Philips and Central Semiconductor, is 3.3 volt zener same marking and same package code from Luguang Electronic Technology / Vishay Semiconductor / Taiwan Semiconductor Company is 36 Volt zener SOD323, SOD123, SOD523 package from Comchip Technology if for 9 volt zener please confirm the package style in your circuit

14:45 I think you should regulate it to 12.00V, ONLY when you have some load connected. otherwise you set it to 12.00 without load, but then when you connect someting it will drop down.

How do you know when the ic is bad
there are many sypmtoms that indicate the fault location
