Like watching your videos over here in France. You make good use of the machinery you have. I have a Fordson Major here that I am doing up and I'm looking for a swinging drawbar for it. If you find one in your travels I'd be interested. Declan here from Farming Life at La Forge
K C. Your 100% right.👏👍 Your drive Forward or push forward with mig. Your not suppose to be going backwards with the mig. That's the way he's learnt to do it or is happening doing it. You go backwards with Arc alright. As you've little choice but to go backwards with. 👏👏👍👍
You will notice I turned the wire speed down on the welder to do this. Also I had a gap left between the two bits of steel so you get a good burn in. Down is okay once it's done right
@@mrcvx 😱🤦🙈 Personally I didn't see that part. Ya, with a gap between them. You'll get a good burn into the 2 pieces of steel alright. Ya,ya nothing wrong with going down in the vertical weld way. Personally I was told it's not a good way to weld with the mig, going backwards or downwards. Something to do with gas & wire mixing, along with keeping the tips clean. Anyway, it's not a major problem. It's more or less down to the person using it, really.
You personally don't sound the best or is it JUST me,that think's that? You need a few days beside the fire. Horsing something VERY strong into ya.😅😂🤣 Good to see the Major back in the picture again. After a long spell on the side line, within the shed. Personally after a few tacks. I'd prefer to do a vertical up weld on them joints. When done right it's a better weld. Than a straight flat weld. The steel needs to be fairly thick, as you need a fair bit of heat to do that type of welding. On a different note, what height is that shed door? Or in other words what's the overall height of the CVX's? NO, no weather for field work at all, this week. I'm hearing next week or 2 is promised to be good again. So you/ye could be flat to the Mat again for another bit. Is McCarthy's your nearest main Claas dealer around there? As you said in another video that your/ye're changing the Massey. 😱🤦🙈 Did I see smoke or something coming from near that piller? So did you take a Chunk out of the piller with the saw head,in the last video? NOW your into really fun part of your work. TRYING to get MONEY from farmer's.😅😂🤣 There's a Guy up here, going back year's ago wouldn't pay the contractors up until nearly summer the following Year.😅😂🤣 I did say a good while ago about getting your accountant to do up an excel spreadsheet to show what ye have to go through on the money side of thing's. A made up 1 of course. To show exactly what you're talking about. As some people wouldn't understand it. Even doe I know you wouldn't do it for them. Anyway that's enough head recking & ESSA from me. 😅😅😂😂🤣🤣👏👏👍👍
