Courage Is Fear in Submission!

There was a time in my life when I was overwhelmed with more fear and insecurities than I believed I was physically or emotionally able to handle..
and I definitely would NOT consider myself courageous...
Especially at age 23, I lost my health and independence to a random virus, called Transverse Myelitis
Doctors said you'll never walk again, or be independent.
I was now a person with a disability...and had no idea how I was going to cope..
AND I DIDN'T cope well for a long time. I let my fear control me, and kept believing the lie, I'll never amount to anything! I'm not enough!
My guess is that some of you are being held back by fear insecurities and the challenges of life, letting it control you.
BUT IT'S TIME to take back control and allow your fear to fuel your courage not your self doubt.

And why I keep choosing courage is first of all, because it's the BEST way to thrive in life, but also in doing so, I am able to help others face their giants of fear and do the same, like I did on this day when I went skydiving with Edmonton Skydive to raise money for the ladies from the Adeara Recovery Centre. / adeararecovery
