i do my own hair and it’s healthy. some stylists will literally burn your hair to straighten it. i definitely would let him touch my hair but not others lol. he knows what he’s doing

As someone with dense hair I wish all stylists understood the importance of parting inside the hair. Stylists stay missing the middle of my head so my scalp always ends up still being itchy.
You have to speak up and make it very clear to the stylist/assistant that it's just as important for the middle area of your hair and scalp to be clean as the perimeter.
I know it's sped up but that shampoo looked like heaven. 😊😴✨

I understand the concept of protective style but her hair is so beautiful and long.
I'm glad someone is saying it; that pick up and braid into the next braid causes breakage from the tension. You have to be really careful when using that method.

That you for this a lot of stylists need to see this. I took my sew in out the stylist didn’t thoroughly brush the dead hair out and my hair was so matted we had to cut some of it.

I have been binging on his videos all day, this is the kind of stylist I would fly to to get a hair trim and a silk press. I have not had my hair trimmed or used heat on my natural hair because am afraid of heat damage and the stylist cutting too much

I hate wide tooth combs I used to love then one day my hair got so matted up from the comb not detangling my hair at the roots my roots were so matted I cried the whole time I was detangling mainly because I'm extremely tender headed after I got all the dreads out I went and got a paddle brush never looked back I'm just happy I didn't have to cut my hair out of my head😭

Amazing work as ususal. Can you do a series on Virgin Natural Hair I am low porosity i only blowdry rarely to do box braids i never do much with my hair its very healthy and long.
I want to go red but im scared bc i dont want chemical damage. I need to know what steps i should watch for when being serviced by a stylist that does color.
A "client responsibility" video too bc alot of accidents and hair trauma come from us not knowing how to communicate with stylists. Who's fault in which cases, etc
