Happy New Year! Thank you so much for sharing your story. We’re starting to research different areas all over Florida. Our biggest concern is schools and specifically for special needs. I think renting first is the best idea. I really like Celebration from what I’ve seen, but I think my husband is on the fence about being so close to Disney 😂 thank you so much, I am looking forward to seeing more!
So close to Disney yet so far away! Celebration definitely has it's own small town feel even being so close. Plus we only have fake snow ! 😎

We’re about three weeks out from our Beach Club vacay! We’ve been checking on reservations for Beaches and Cream and we’ll keep trying for an inside table. In any case, though, we’re hoping that 8:00 PM on February 1st works for you guys for (our treat!) a Kitchen Sink! We’ll keep you posted about an inside reservation, but sitting outside would be fine for us! And Jake gets to pick the flavors! Really hope you can make it! It’ll be a hoot meeting you guys! We are moving to Celebration in the next month or two. Are you able to say which apartment complex you live in? Saw some bad reviews on a couple of the places.
Forgot to mention we are planning to rent for at least the first year.
I think apartment living in Celebration is generally very good, pools, a clubhouse, walking trails etc...With that being said it's still apartment living so it definitely depends upon your close neighbors. We are fortunate that so far we have had amazingly awesome neighbors. I can also tell you in the same complex with all the amazing amenities they offer, other friends have not had good experiences. Its difficult to predict how living on an apartment community will affect your day to day living. So far for us we definitely enjoy apartment living in Celebration. 😎
What does it take for a Canadian to come live there? Are there strict rules in terms of immigration etc? We like continuous warm weather even though we have 4 seasons here in Toronto Canada.
Not exactly sure of the immigration laws transitioning to residency in the United States from Canada. I definitely agree on the warm weather all year! It's awesome. It does get cold sometimes but it doesn't last more than a day or two! The summers are brutally hot, but I prefer the heat rather than the cold for sure! Thank you for watching! 😎
Our summer is a piping hot 101° f and winter time is a bone chilling-20° C
The real reason you moved to Celebration Florida is to be closer to Adam The Woo
I have never met the Woo. I do see him from time to time around the area. I will have to introduce myself next time I see him! Good minds think alike! Celebration is definitely a cool town! 😎
