    Does it look different if you air dry? I have straight, but frizzy hair, and it’s still frizzy after I take a shower. I wonder if it wasn’t treated long enough or with a strong enough product... I also thought that the chemical process was damaging, which is why it makes it hard to go lighter in colour.

      Amanda Stanton I normally shower 3 hours before my bed time. So my hair has enough time to dry but it’s not completely dry for when I sleep. I don’t want it to be dry when I sleep. & my hair does dry a little frizzy, but when I sleep, the next day, it goes back to its none frizzy straight hair. I don’t know why but my hair looks so much better and styles better after sleeping LOL that’s why I always shower before bed. & yes, I said goodbye to colouring my hair light once I started straightening my hair.

    Thank you for making this video ! I'm going to get it tomorrow omg!! And also , does the texture of the hair change an a good way like soft or rough ? I'm really curious. And thank you 😊

      Awwe of course!! No a problem! thank YOU for watching my video ♥️
      I am very sorry for the late response. I hope everything went well with your hair treatment.
      My hair texture did not change as much but it did become a little softer. That also all depends on what product you use.

    Do you permanently straighten your hair with thermal reconditioning or with a relaxer? And if it's relaxer, then with lye or lye-free?

    Thanks for making this video, It really helps, you said you cannot have your hair in light colors, Does that apply to highlights? And can you dye your hair a color you want before you permanently straighten it?

    • @izzywalksonclouds818

      You are very welcome! Thank you so much for watching my video ❤ Yes, due to the chemicals in the product, colouring your hair very light colours will damage your hair, burn it and cause it to fall because keep in mind, when going light, they usually have to use bleach.
      If you take a look at my videos before this, you can see the colour of my hair and some high lights that I got. The high lights are not very light colours so my hair did not get damaged.
      If you colour your hair light, it HIGHLY recommend not getting your hair straightened because it will burn your hair and cause it to fall.

    Heyy! I am thinking of getting a straight perm! I have a question! When you get the perm do you have to straighten your hair with a straightening iron or no? Like if you wash it, it will dray straight right? Or do you HAVE to straighten it?

    • @izzywalksonclouds818
      @izzywalksonclouds818  3 роки тому

      Getting a perm is a commitment btw. If one day you decide to grow your natural hair back, it will take you 1 to 2 years, depending on how fast your hair grows. So if you are ok with that then definitely do it!
      After washing your hair, your hair will dry straight. The only thing I straighten is my bangs. They would dry flat so I would just straighten it to style it.
      In this video, skip to 8:36. I wash my hair and blow dry it. You will see how my hair dries straight 😍

      Harshita Dhruw Maybe it is the perm that your hair dresser used on your hair that is causing that because that shouldn't be happening :(

    Hey thanks for the videos I found them super informative! I have hair that is super curly, thick and frizzy. I've been flat ironing my hair for years and it honestly drives me crazy. I've been debating about getting the chemical straightening done. I'm just so nervous! Do you have any tips about aftercare? I'm just worried it will break off and I want to know how to best take care of it 😖

    • @izzywalksonclouds818
      @izzywalksonclouds818  4 роки тому +2

      -Kin0- 17 saammmmeee! I have been straightening my hair with a flat iron for as long as I can remember. My after care includes not using drug mart shampoos. Apply caster oil, ONLY to your roots once a week or twice. Do not colour your hair light. & ALSO, be very very very careful of what product you are going to use. My hair dresser uses Agave, it's two steps. I showed the product in this video.

      @@izzywalksonclouds818 Damn girl thanks for looking out for me 😭😭😭. People always give Japanese straightening a bad rap because they either don't properly take care of their hair or they go to an untrained stylist. So thanks for keeping it real, I have hope now lol.❤

      @izzywalksonclouds818  4 роки тому +2

      @-Kin0- 17 of course! You don't need to personally know someone to care for them or look out for them ♥️ & yesss that's so true!! Plus there are a lot of different brands of the Japanese hair straightener. Not all of them are good and not all of them work well.

    I straightened my hair 3 years ago and I’m happy with it. But whenever I blow dry my hair for some curls they wouldn’t stay. My hair becomes straight again in an hour. Can you help me with it and let me know what to do for the curls to stay?

    • @izzywalksonclouds818

    Why you you should straighten your Hair for four days

    • @izzywalksonclouds818
      @izzywalksonclouds818  3 роки тому

      With curly hair, when you sleep, some parts of your hair will get wavy so if you leave it wavy, the product will style those parts of your hair as wavy permanently. You need to straighten it every day to make sure everything stays straight and allow the product to penetrate more into the hair.

    How much you spend on you hair per month?

    • @izzywalksonclouds818
      @izzywalksonclouds818  4 роки тому +1

      Somya Sharma There isn't an exact or particular amount I spend on a monthly basis. Every 6 months I pay for the perm and I just buy whatever shampoo, conditioner and hair care products that work best with my hair and they usually last me more than a month :)

    Clearly it does damage your hair. Hence why you had to cut it so short. As you could see all the damage in your hair from the 1st video.
    Either way it does look good.

    • @izzywalksonclouds818
      @izzywalksonclouds818  4 роки тому +5

      Rachelle Laughtman I did not cut my hair because of the reason you are assuming.. I have always wanted to try short hair but because my hair was always long for as long as I can remember, I was afraid that I would look bad with short hair. So I did it gradually, I cut it mid way (as it shows in my videos) basically testing the waters, then realizing that I liked it, right before my solo trip, I cut it short. Which was the best decision ever! I love short hair soo much better than long hair.
      & Thank yooou ☺️
