If they think that's an issue then they haven't been truly paying attention to how their season or last season went. They did turn it on last year after having to turn it off the last 15 games after securing the #1 seed. Was going 16-4 last playoffs difficult for them? When they need to turn it on for the good teams (2-0 vs Celtics, 3-0 vs Lakers, 4-0 vs Warriors, 2-0 vs Heat) they do just that. 10-1 since All Star break!!

If only we had evidence of consistency in the playoffs from the Nuggets. Maybe something like a championship of some sort? This is exactly how each game happened in the playoffs. Do they not remember the Lakers basically saying we almost beat themin every game. And STILL havent beaten them. They are a clutch 4th quarter team just like a few years ago everyone was afraid of the 3rd quarter Warriors because they consistently turned in it on.
Idk how y'all are worried about the nuggets winning "harder" they've consistently won by a comfy 5-8 points all year, down 20 up 20. The Celtics is what you get when you try to blow out in the regular season, no clutch experience.

It used to annoy me to see analysts dismiss the Nuggets. Now it's just funny. They can't get their heads around what Denver is doing, and they're expecting another team to step up and show that the Nuggets are a mirage... and yet not a single team in the NBA has even a slight chance of beating them in 7 games. And not a single player in the NBA can stop Jokic. Wouldn't be surprised if Denver wins 2 or 3 more finals, and then when they finally lose, all the analysts say, "See! I told you!"

Last season, everyone said that Denver would not win a ring, even the bookies along with TV, and with all podcasts like this, put the Nuggets in 4th or 5th place at the beginning of the playoffs. Denver is dominant in all categories, beautiful basketball where the whole team plays as one. Together with the coaches, they can recognize the moment and let the other teams with the game like they play in the play off, to get advantage of 10 to 15 points and then crush them in the 4th quarter because the opponents don't have the strength or skill to match. You will see real Denver when the play off starts, and these podcasts that look for flaws in Denver and constantly adjust Boston, GS, Lakers... who were washed by Denver.

The why is because we've never seen anything like Wemby before and other than Giannis and Jokic (for whom its probably to late for now to achieve the same status due to age) Wemby is the only one that looks like he could potentially enter a goat discussion in the future

The Nuggets definitely have issues staying ahead when they're up big (~20 points). That's an aspect of their game I wish they'd improve on.
Sadly, Jamal Murray is the perfect example of a player who can only perform under high pressure. It's also (together with injuries) why he's never been an all-star.
As for the face of the league, I think it's going to be LeBron until he retires, and then it'll be either Steph (Ja has the appeal already, but not the on-court credentials) until Wembanyama is ready.
It all depends on how quickly Wembanyama ascends (assuming he eventually does, of course).
