Gotta say, this story was not only exceedingly well-written, but goes to show Xehanort can make Kingdom Hearts extremely intriguing and mysterious once again, single-handedly.
Agreed, slow at first but as soon as I realized who Xehanort is (recognizing him from Birth by Sleep) I was hooked. I honestly wished it wasn’t a mobile game & that it was traditionally 3D animated like the other games but…

I think Riku, Sora and Xehanort are all Children of Destiny, (Children Raised on Destiny Islands) but Sora in the The Child of Destiny. He is the one who realizes Destiny is beyond his control, and accepts that. Xehanort is the one who cannot accept that. Xehanort takes and takes, and Sora gives and gives, until Sora remind him who he is. ' He is Eraqus's Darkness and his balance. And then they "become One and go together."
@@andilex01 The whole "chosen" thing was retconned. Riku was chosen by Tera, not the keyblade itself. There's also Xehanort who physically passed the baton to Sora in the form of the X-Blade. It's hard to deny it's Sora.
When you really think about it Xehanort's life was practically shaped by people in robes expecting and projecting things onto him. There is Blue Robe Caretaker who raised him from infancy to teen until his death, ASoD Hoodnort who sent him to Scala Ad Calum, Master Odin who taught him the art of the keyblade & ways of the order, and M.O.M. who impressed upon to him delve deeper into uncertain depths and question both his place in and the balance of said worlds.
Most likely all part of MoM's plan. Why? Just to find the true child of destiny? So many lives ruined for revenge? I really can't wait to see what his motivations are. Surely it can't be just "I want to defeat darkness so I'll do anything." I bet his connection to true darkness is much bigger than we think.
Indeed. Almost all his friends and colleagues died, his best friend was a cocky asshole, and all his mentors were shady assholes. Someone like that is bound to go bad without any actual support.
well I like to think of xehanort's life as a projection of the evolution of a real life child : when you're just Bron you're pure light you don't know anything but the more you grow up the more you discover the truth the more you change, some people might think that you've turned evil but it's just your perspective of life that's changed you don't see good and evil the same as before like everyone has their own vision of it and we can't always be sure who's right or wrong

@@EpicSchme Elrena was a simple Dandelion that happened to come across Lauriam's sister Strelitzia one day which resulted in Elrena becoming a witness to the truth of Daybreak Town and the Data World. Brain, Ephemer and the other leaders understood that the world was ending FAST so they tried to save as many dandelions. Unfortunately there was only 2 closest to the lifeboat at the time, Elrena and Ventus. Now lauriam did ask for Elrena's assistance to find strelitzia when they make it to the real world before they teleported away(🥀⚡).
It's interesting in how Lauriam & Strelitzia and Baldr & Holder act as parallels. In how grief affects us in similar, but drastic ways when it comes to family. Yet both end tragically regardless. Also "DARKNESS" may have a hatred against siblings.
And it’s more interesting how Gods and humans can be effected by the same thing. baldr and Holder are gods in Norse world and Lauriam & Strelitzia are human in the game. Gods/Goddess can feel the same as human do.
Darknesa feeds on Anger and Hatred, especially Hatred against people you used to Love. It is why X, the Traitor symbol, is fixed to the Dark Vessels. (See Xehanort stabbing Eraqus in the Back).
If MoM is Light like some people speculate, maybe when everything gets revealed Light and all the True Darknesses will BE siblings or otherwise family related somehow? 🤷🏻♀️ and maybe some conflict between them will be the reason for the family/sibling hate
Yooo Master Xehanort knew from the start that Ventus' heart was pure light. Man knew that Vanitas was probably one of the Darknesses that possess people exactly like how one did w/ Baldr. Except he was able to separate the Darkness from Ven. He probably wanted to save him from the fate the Book of Prophecies said about Ven being a vessel for one of the Darknesses.

@@ALEFISCH99 that's easy, in Re:Mind it was confirmed that the Vanitas we see in KH 3 was the one from Birth by Sleep he just traveled through time. At the end of Ventus' story in BBS, Vanitas and Ventus recombined, so even though Vanitas was destroyed the darkness that was in him is back inside Ventus now.
At 3:33:08 Baldr’s transition into darkness was insanely horrifying I could actually feel what he’s going through mentally and with the song as well just gives it the psychological horror aspect.

i didnt expect eraqus to be this adorable in his youth. god damn no wonder xehanort had a weak spot for him, its heart breaking knowing how jaded he becomes as he got older (plus in the bbs novel he seemed to be a pretty goofy teacher)

Tbf Hades was really chill and considerate on this game. He actually decided to help the group, kept his side of the deal with no catch, he also stated his conditions without hiding any detail.
Yknow what would be kinda cool Seeing all this in chronological order Like the non-linearity helps alot with the story but a single stream of events might be fun to see as well and help understand certain points better, hope a kh UA-cam does it one day
I love that misdirection when UX was closed with the Player's final moment. They showed the cutscenes with Xehanort and we, somehow, automatically assumed that we reincarnated as Xehanort, but not the Blue-robed person who's also there. Anyway, the Child of Destiny is definitely Sora. Gosh, I hope they didn't get into the 'Chosen One' trope but here we are.
What shapes the chosen one trope is how the character gets started, their motivations are all impressed upon them by others, usually by the mentor figures telling them of the prophecy. With the SW prequels and Dark Road we got "what if that goes wrong", and both times the Chosen One actually came AFTER them. Only Luke and Sora never get told they should be anything, both want something else and achieve hero-status incidentally(for Sora it's a lot more low key than Luke's medal winning)
@@yungbreezy36 The prophecy said that the Child of Destiny would change the outcome of "light will expire and darkness will prevail" and light would win instead. That's literally what Sora did in Re:Mind. He changed the outcome of the Keyblade war and they won instead due to him using the power of waking . Sora went backwards in time to change what already happened and they were able to win.

@@cdoconn jaja well is just that, knowing Nomura, it didn’t crossed my mind that he will leave it be so easy such as having a similar name…again (first time was Brain. And literally I thought of it since the beginning of DR but just went “nah it’s too easy like that” and then the finale came-) I kinda expected more hints in conversation/character behavior so we could have been more suspicious…maybe even try to trick us into thinking it was another character instead of Bragi.
Bragi And Eraqus seemed close, regarding that fist bump in episode 1. Wish we had a scene in BBS with Braig overlooking Eraqus to see about his "friend," considering Bragi (Luxu) choosing to be in Xehanort’s life in a different vessel. Of course the MoM’s plan is of priority, though.
Omg! Bragi and Braig (Xigbar)! Nomura you sly dog! We should have noticed from the beginning! Braig (Xigbar) is Luxu's current vessel. All he did for when naming his previous vessel is move literally one letter over one space! It was so clearly there and we missed it!
After watching the scenes from Union Cross and then seeing this, just reminds me that Ven was both light and dark because he literally had one of the original 13 darknesses inside him. Then Xehanort separated them, potentially thousands of years later and made Vanitas. We all thought Vanitas was just the darkness from Ven's heart, but in KH3 when he told Sora that he IS darkness, he literally meant it! Vanitas is the physical embodiment of one of the 13 darknesses that The Master of Masters meant to have sealed inside the Original Union Leaders, the Dandelion leaders, and one trapped in the digital world.
Given that Ephemer was only Xehanort's great-great-grandfather, it's probably more on the order of a hundred years. Keep in mind that Ephemer didn't lose his body, so he must not have traveled through time, but just somehow survived the collapse of Daybreak Town.
Always knew that Vanitas was much bigger than when he was introduced back in BBS. He's actually one of the oldest characters in the series lol. An original darkness.
I guess we all misunderstood the ending of Union X Player isn't Xehanort after all but Blue Hood. I guess that in Missing Link we are gonna play as the players "Second Life" maybe?
@@rogue1248 Nomura did a Q&A after the release of Dark Road. "Q5: Who is the blue robed figure who appears in the DR epilogue? A5: Someone who bears the heart of the Player from UX. Later the part where it talks about a "second life" will be withdrawn. And then, it will be about how after its final destruction, that heart will once again melt into the heart of another person." Player character will be coming back... potentially already is back as Sora.
it's funny watching this because even a few mid level heartless are considered a threat to three keyblade wielders, as opposed to sora casually soloing 1000 heartless
ha i noticed that...sora with donald and goofy took down malificent's dragon form while 3-4 keyblade master canidites were taken out by that same dragon
@@andilex01 well you have to remember sora and riku are built differently while every other keyblade warrior we've met had some teachings on how to wield one sora and riku were self taught nobody really told them how to use the blade they just discovered it on their own hell dream drop distance is the closest thing to them being taught anything about the key blade and even that they had to learn on their own

Assuming that the old guy taking care of xehanort is the player character of union cross (and that the player character will be the character in missing link) imagine that the old guy gets reincarnated into Sora whom we've been playing this whole time?
No, old Player's heart becomes Sora's Keyblade of Light waiting for him on Destiny Islands when Riku first opened the door (Why do you think the titles were KH χ / unchained χ / Union χ Dark Road? Because the Player is the χ who becomes Sora's χ-blade ;)

So player reincarnated clearly said that xehanort is ephemer's descendant but as we can see (and also xehanort claims) that her mother totally looks like skuld, does this means that skuld is actually survives then found her way to ephemer (or ephemer finds his way to skuld), start a family together and eventually xehanort's mother is descendants of both of them? I personally like this idea, both of them being together is cute

Can we all agree on the fact that Master Odin is a TERRIBLE Master ? Like worse than Eraqus : - First of all he asks weaker students to search for more experienced students (the more experienced students had problems so it is 100% sure that weaker students would struggle too.) Instead of, I don't know, move his butt and search for them himself. Imagine if high schools did that. - that's maybe subjective but I found kinda surprising that Vidar and the other upperclassmen didn't know about "True Darkness", if we suppose this was their last year before becoming masters, I definitely think this is something they should know even if it is not supposed to come back, like that's part of history - He totally influenced Vidar into trying to summon Kingdom Hearts like : "there may be another way... You're not supposed to do it but I will literally tell you how to summon it !" Seeing how desperate Vidar was to find another way to seek revenge instead of killing Baldr, it was sure he would want to try. He was young and desperate, a master should be able to see that. - He litteraly locks Baldr for a week without giving him any comfort of some sort while his student was traumatized by the death of his sister and his other classmates (though that one may be kinda understandable because if Baldr's darkness really killed Hoder, Heimdall Helgi and Sigrun, he was already lost at this point and any comfort wouldn't save anything... But I think his condition worsen with this solution) - He let Urd and Hermod and all the other students die like they were nothing except Xehanort and Eraqus (like I get it those two were important but still the others were your student and you do nothing to help them) - He is literally doing nothing apart from using No Name's chains to keep Baldr in place in the end (but again he arrived waaaaaaay too late, Vidar, Vala, Vali and Vor were already dead. Just like he arrived waaaaaaay too late in the corridor of darkness.) Worst teacher ever.

7 Darkness in MoM and Foretellers 6 Remaining from which 4 'may' be trapped. thats leaves two unnaccounted for: Vanitas and the other one which is probably whoever the MoM was talking to in Union Cross. And the ones trapped might still pop out and return.... That leaves at LEAST one more darkness we havent seen yet. Theres a new villain to be revealed on the way, the one pulling the strings and is not who we think it is. JUST SAYING!

This game has a HUGE potential to be its own main game man. The story is mostly self contained but referencea bits of other games like birth by sleep Would've been great
Okay, there is so many things to say ! First of all, Bragi being Luxu was kind of predictable. I mean : Bragi --> Braig --> Xigbar --> Luxu. So yeah, wasn't really surprised by that one ! XD I was also really expecting Luxord's somebody to appear in Dark Road. Because with all the letters in his name, you get Lodur, who is a God in Norse mythology. And yeah, since everyone has a Norse God name in Dark Road, I really thought it was going to happen. And MoM considers himself as a Lost Master, same as Ava, Ira, Invi, Aced, Gula and Luxu... He would be the seventh master. And because all Masters has the name of a deadly sin in latin, his name might be something like Superbia or a derivated. And then we learn that Xehanort is from Ephemer's family... That's unexpected and really cool ! But that makes me wonder who is Eraqus' ancestor as well ! It was said that he fought directly against the Darkness so... It may be Brain ?
I think Brain is the only possible choice here: according to KH3 reports Eraqus has the blood of the ancient Keyblade Masters, but in DR they say it's grandad fought against Darkness. Given the shorter time frame, they could only reference the events of Missing-Link involving Brain. Also, they share the same Keyblade!
I’ll be honest with Bragi I was not expecting it cuz I didn’t thought it was that obvious like- Bragi= Braig cuz then that’s too easy! I kinda expected more hidden/suspicious hints such as dialogue or behavior but not randomly Luxu= Bragi just by similar names… still I gasped-

I just wanted to say thank you for uploading all the cutscenes for Union χ and Dark Road, because I was going to download the offline version of the game on my phone so that I can watch the cutscenes, but unfortunately I was very late because the game was removed from the app stores, and who knows if it will be available again in some form or another. Now that I was finally able to watch the two stories, I can finally move forward to Kingdom Hearts III. Once again, thank you for these uploads.👍👍
now i understand why nomura kept saying in his interviews how much he loved xehanort and why he was sad to leave some characters behind moving forward into the franchise. dude kept such a detailed and emotional story under wraps for how long now? damn. i hope by the end of kh, xehanort and eraqus get that "14th" life, id bawl my eyes out
@@liben5052 Imagine the 2 of them ending up in Quadratum after they ascended in KH3. And they try to live a normal life away from the Light VS Darkness struggle. But it's not gonna last because of Sora and MoM's involvement in Quadratum.
Also because before kingdom hearts 3 it was already stated since kingdom hearts recoded braig or xigbar but most likely my suspicion was something that xigbar but wasnt actually braig or xigbar original person because i knew to that point that person xigbar wasnt just any normal person he knew about it since long time ago
An to that point my suspicion was clear it was a being or a person that existed since 100 or 180 years it took place in the keyblade war in the past was tragic and someone manipulated from the higher ups or a mastermind manipulating them which i was right about my theory a person possessing different people body one by one

Could be that MoM is just that powerful, or it could be because the keyblade inherent to them is the same keyblade (just not the one xehanort currently has)
@@andilex01 Sora just pulled out his own Keyblade back. (Roxas somehow forgot Sora could just teleport it back.) The other comment talking about Yoroza was more on point, though Yozora uses a technology unknown to us to confiscate it. MoM just takes it with no need of any help.
@@sergiomatheus3392 you can take Roxas' keyblades in battle, which depends on if you take battles as canon but I think there's some meaning. For yozora it may be up in the air whether or not he "takes" your keyblade or makes something that looks like one. He would need to be able to use a keyblade in the first place too if he really takes it
Yep he’s Luxu, he survived the eons after the KH multiverse was created, by transferring his heart to other bodies for countless years Bragi was his current vessel, scouting for a “chosen one” to fulfill his ancient role He seemed to have suspected Baldr, but seeing he would lose to Xehanort simply decided to sit it out, and keep an eye on Xehanort in the future After Bragi, Braig was likely his next vessel which led to everything else
Although we don’t know the about the eyes. Nomura interview says Dark Road plants all the seeds to his downfall. It happens with the intro and putto cutscenes of every episode. The mom manipulates him into seeing darkness in everyone’s hearts and something about Xehanorts ability to feel peoples emotions pushes his heart to darkness. Just like Baldr, everything else in those cutscenes after the mom cutscenes pushes Xehanort to becoming who we know.
@@sorarockss93 It may need to be many years before they turn yellow. Baldr became enveloped by darkness within a year. Not long enough for the eyes to change color.
OMG NOMURA I HATE YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!!! This is literally one of the BEST stories in KH history EVER! (Not counting BBS cause that´s a masterpiece on it´s own) AND it´s one of the darkests stories in the series cause there are more deaths here than all the games combined, and you made it INTO A MOBILE GAME??!?!?!?!?!?! OMG, this would´ve been such an epic big console game for the series!!! T-T
I remember in the 20th anniversary video, there's a scene where Donald and Goofy walking in the dark, when somebody looks like Hades shows. Maybe Donald & Goofy might go to the Underworld and they will meet dead characters like Xehanort & Eraqus did?

I don't understand why Aqua could stay without her armor in the realm of darkness for 10 years, while eraqus and xehanort were risking to die, if master Odin went to save them, and hermod and urd have died, because the armor couldn't protect them for long time, it doesn't make any sense
Hmm... it just struck me. A lot of the qualities and defining features of the Child of Destiny also match Sora's qualities. For example, he easily bonds with others' hearts, seen both with the hearts he took in him and his friendliness towards anyone. He does his best to bring light to those he bonds with, and he hails from Destiny Islands. I wonder if it was actually meant to imply that Sora also is a child of destiny, or perhaps he is *the* Child of Destiny, rather than Xehanort?

Xehanort being Ephemer? What do you mean. He said he has Ephemers blood in him which means Ephemer might be Xehanorts dad and maybe his mom is Skuld. Haha I really don't know anymore.
@@joseortiz7828 It's possible that Xehanort's mom is Brain's daughter- if we go off of the assumption that Missing Link is going to be the story of Player's reincarnation meeting Brain, he'd be old enough to be a grandfather by the time Xehanort's born. While it's possible there's not that much time in between Brain arriving in Scala and Xehanort's birth (we could be playing as some random other guy in Missing Link instead), it would also line up with the timing of Eraqus' notable darkness-fighting grandfather whose fate is vague enough for there to be a whole spin-off mobile game about it. Plus Skuld is our most likely candidate for Subject X, so it's more likely that she isn't dead of old age when BBS happens.

Young Eraqus is a bit silly. Vor is STRONG. I always thought Xehanort was bald because he got old, learning he shaved his head is weirdly funny. Watching Xehanort and Eraqus's friendship get strained is sad. Xehanort treats MoM like the grifter he is. Eraqus's carpet walk is funny. Odin is either an incompetent master or very manipulative. He told Vidar about the threat of true darkness and Kingdom Hearts, but acts shocked when Xehanort and company reveal Vidar's been acting on his advice. Maleficent was a menace back in the day.
You this just makes me wish we had a game where a young Eraqus is the main character. I've wanted that really sense kh3, but his dynamic with Xehanort, similar yet also very different personality from Sora's really feels like he'd be a fun main character for a game
At death a Keyblade Wielder has a choice to either pass on or be reincarnated It’s unknown if they chosen to reincarnate again But the Chirirthy in KH 3 could very well be Player’s still waiting for them The Chirithy’s continued existence waiting for their companion to return, may very well be proof the Player is still out there

When you really think about it Xehanort's life was practically shaped by people in robes expecting and projecting things onto him. There is Blue Robe Caretaker who raised him from infancy to teen until his death, ASoD Hoodnort who sent him to Scala Ad Calum, Master Odin who taught him the art of the keyblade & ways of the order, and M.O.M. who impressed upon to him delve deeper into uncertain depths and question both his place in and the balance of said worlds.

well I like to think of xehanort's life as a projection of the evolution of a real life child : when you're just Bron you're pure light you don't know anything but the more you grow up the more you discover the truth the more you change, some people might think that you've turned evil but it's just your perspective of life that's changed you don't see good and evil the same as before like everyone has their own vision of it and we can't always be sure who's right or wrong

@@EpicSchme Elrena was a simple Dandelion that happened to come across Lauriam's sister Strelitzia one day which resulted in Elrena becoming a witness to the truth of Daybreak Town and the Data World. Brain, Ephemer and the other leaders understood that the world was ending FAST so they tried to save as many dandelions. Unfortunately there was only 2 closest to the lifeboat at the time, Elrena and Ventus. Now lauriam did ask for Elrena's assistance to find strelitzia when they make it to the real world before they teleported away(🥀⚡).

It's interesting in how Lauriam & Strelitzia and Baldr & Holder act as parallels. In how grief affects us in similar, but drastic ways when it comes to family. Yet both end tragically regardless. Also "DARKNESS" may have a hatred against siblings.
Maybe, the emotions from the hearts of a family bond may be strong enough to defeat true darkness?
And it’s more interesting how Gods and humans can be effected by the same thing. baldr and Holder are gods in Norse world and
Lauriam & Strelitzia are human in the game. Gods/Goddess can feel the same as human do.

Darknesa feeds on Anger and Hatred, especially Hatred against people you used to Love. It is why X, the Traitor symbol, is fixed to the Dark Vessels. (See Xehanort stabbing Eraqus in the Back).
If MoM is Light like some people speculate, maybe when everything gets revealed Light and all the True Darknesses will BE siblings or otherwise family related somehow? 🤷🏻♀️ and maybe some conflict between them will be the reason for the family/sibling hate
Yooo Master Xehanort knew from the start that Ventus' heart was pure light. Man knew that Vanitas was probably one of the Darknesses that possess people exactly like how one did w/ Baldr. Except he was able to separate the Darkness from Ven. He probably wanted to save him from the fate the Book of Prophecies said about Ven being a vessel for one of the Darknesses.
I don't still get it what's the darkness inside Ventus we saw in Re Mind. Maybe Xehanorth didn't pull out all the Darkness from Ventus?

@@ALEFISCH99 that's easy, in Re:Mind it was confirmed that the Vanitas we see in KH 3 was the one from Birth by Sleep he just traveled through time. At the end of Ventus' story in BBS, Vanitas and Ventus recombined, so even though Vanitas was destroyed the darkness that was in him is back inside Ventus now.

Tbf Hades was really chill and considerate on this game. He actually decided to help the group, kept his side of the deal with no catch, he also stated his conditions without hiding any detail.

I love that misdirection when UX was closed with the Player's final moment. They showed the cutscenes with Xehanort and we, somehow, automatically assumed that we reincarnated as Xehanort, but not the Blue-robed person who's also there.
Anyway, the Child of Destiny is definitely Sora. Gosh, I hope they didn't get into the 'Chosen One' trope but here we are.
What shapes the chosen one trope is how the character gets started, their motivations are all impressed upon them by others, usually by the mentor figures telling them of the prophecy. With the SW prequels and Dark Road we got "what if that goes wrong", and both times the Chosen One actually came AFTER them. Only Luke and Sora never get told they should be anything, both want something else and achieve hero-status incidentally(for Sora it's a lot more low key than Luke's medal winning)

That's literally what Sora did in Re:Mind. He changed the outcome of the Keyblade war and they won instead due to him using the power of waking . Sora went backwards in time to change what already happened and they were able to win.
He describes a similar dream as sora's and roxas' "feeling like im falling from the sky"

He could have so easily ended Baldr right there, yet look at how much trouble Baldr gave everyone else. Luxu will be an insane challenge for Sora.
After watching the scenes from Union Cross and then seeing this, just reminds me that Ven was both light and dark because he literally had one of the original 13 darknesses inside him. Then Xehanort separated them, potentially thousands of years later and made Vanitas. We all thought Vanitas was just the darkness from Ven's heart, but in KH3 when he told Sora that he IS darkness, he literally meant it! Vanitas is the physical embodiment of one of the 13 darknesses that The Master of Masters meant to have sealed inside the Original Union Leaders, the Dandelion leaders, and one trapped in the digital world.
Given that Ephemer was only Xehanort's great-great-grandfather, it's probably more on the order of a hundred years. Keep in mind that Ephemer didn't lose his body, so he must not have traveled through time, but just somehow survived the collapse of Daybreak Town.
Always knew that Vanitas was much bigger than when he was introduced back in BBS. He's actually one of the oldest characters in the series lol. An original darkness.

So player reincarnated clearly said that xehanort is ephemer's descendant but as we can see (and also xehanort claims) that her mother totally looks like skuld, does this means that skuld is actually survives then found her way to ephemer (or ephemer finds his way to skuld), start a family together and eventually xehanort's mother is descendants of both of them?

Although time varies in each world, it’s safe to assume Skuld and Ephemer were among the first beings in the world that became Scala ad Caelum, and building the metropolis of island cities even with magic and resources from other worlds would take generations to build and maintain

The fact that Xehanort’s mother has Skuld’s features only confirms she’s a descendant of Ephemer and Skuld, as his mother inherited her likeness

Can we all agree on the fact that Master Odin is a TERRIBLE Master ? Like worse than Eraqus :
- First of all he asks weaker students to search for more experienced students (the more experienced students had problems so it is 100% sure that weaker students would struggle too.) Instead of, I don't know, move his butt and search for them himself. Imagine if high schools did that.
- that's maybe subjective but I found kinda surprising that Vidar and the other upperclassmen didn't know about "True Darkness", if we suppose this was their last year before becoming masters, I definitely think this is something they should know even if it is not supposed to come back, like that's part of history
- He totally influenced Vidar into trying to summon Kingdom Hearts like : "there may be another way... You're not supposed to do it but I will literally tell you how to summon it !" Seeing how desperate Vidar was to find another way to seek revenge instead of killing Baldr, it was sure he would want to try. He was young and desperate, a master should be able to see that.
- He litteraly locks Baldr for a week without giving him any comfort of some sort while his student was traumatized by the death of his sister and his other classmates (though that one may be kinda understandable because if Baldr's darkness really killed Hoder, Heimdall Helgi and Sigrun, he was already lost at this point and any comfort wouldn't save anything... But I think his condition worsen with this solution)
- He let Urd and Hermod and all the other students die like they were nothing except Xehanort and Eraqus (like I get it those two were important but still the others were your student and you do nothing to help them)
- He is literally doing nothing apart from using No Name's chains to keep Baldr in place in the end (but again he arrived waaaaaaay too late, Vidar, Vala, Vali and Vor were already dead. Just like he arrived waaaaaaay too late in the corridor of darkness.)

But at very least it makes sense with what we have now

Okay, there is so many things to say !
First of all, Bragi being Luxu was kind of predictable. I mean : Bragi --> Braig --> Xigbar --> Luxu. So yeah, wasn't really surprised by that one ! XD
I was also really expecting Luxord's somebody to appear in Dark Road. Because with all the letters in his name, you get Lodur, who is a God in Norse mythology. And yeah, since everyone has a Norse God name in Dark Road, I really thought it was going to happen.
And MoM considers himself as a Lost Master, same as Ava, Ira, Invi, Aced, Gula and Luxu... He would be the seventh master. And because all Masters has the name of a deadly sin in latin, his name might be something like Superbia or a derivated.
And then we learn that Xehanort is from Ephemer's family... That's unexpected and really cool ! But that makes me wonder who is Eraqus' ancestor as well ! It was said that he fought directly against the Darkness so... It may be Brain ?
I think Brain is the only possible choice here: according to KH3 reports Eraqus has the blood of the ancient Keyblade Masters, but in DR they say it's grandad fought against Darkness. Given the shorter time frame, they could only reference the events of Missing-Link involving Brain.
Also, they share the same Keyblade!

I just wanted to say thank you for uploading all the cutscenes for Union χ and Dark Road, because I was going to download the offline version of the game on my phone so that I can watch the cutscenes, but unfortunately I was very late because the game was removed from the app stores, and who knows if it will be available again in some form or another. For yozora it may be up in the air whether or not he "takes" your keyblade or makes something that looks like one. He would need to be able to use a keyblade in the first place too if he really takes it

He seemed to have suspected Baldr, but seeing he would lose to Xehanort simply decided to sit it out, and keep an eye on Xehanort in the future
After Bragi, Braig was likely his next vessel which led to everything else

I guess we never know why Xehanort have yellow eyes or why he have become the man we know.
Although we don’t know the about the eyes. Nomura interview says Dark Road plants all the seeds to his downfall. It happens with the intro and putto cutscenes of every episode. The mom manipulates him into seeing darkness in everyone’s hearts and something about Xehanorts ability to feel peoples emotions pushes his heart to darkness. Just like Baldr, everything else in those cutscenes after the mom cutscenes pushes Xehanort to becoming who we know.
The yelloe eyes is because how much he was exposed by darkness. Like Aqua in KH3. But in Xehanort's case, he overcome the darkness.

(Not counting BBS cause that´s a masterpiece on it´s own) AND it´s one of the darkests stories in the series cause there are more deaths here than all the games combined, and you made it INTO A MOBILE GAME??!?!?!?!?!?! OMG, this would´ve been such an epic big console game for the series!!! T-T

Eraques - can increase physical attack power
Vor - can increase magical attack power
Urd - can use Blizzaga (water element magic attack)
Hemrod - can use physical attack
Bragi - can increase defense
Xehanort can "summon power from the future" using battle cards

Hmm... it just struck me. A lot of the qualities and defining features of the Child of Destiny also match Sora's qualities. For example, he easily bonds with others' hearts, seen both with the hearts he took in him and his friendliness towards anyone. He does his best to bring light to those he bonds with, and he hails from Destiny Islands. I wonder if it was actually meant to imply that Sora also is a child of destiny, or perhaps he is *the* Child of Destiny, rather than Xehanort?

@@joseortiz7828 It's possible that Xehanort's mom is Brain's daughter- if we go off of the assumption that Missing Link is going to be the story of Player's reincarnation meeting Brain, he'd be old enough to be a grandfather by the time Xehanort's born. While it's possible there's not that much time in between Brain arriving in Scala and Xehanort's birth (we could be playing as some random other guy in Missing Link instead), it would also line up with the timing of Eraqus' notable darkness-fighting grandfather whose fate is vague enough for there to be a whole spin-off mobile game about it. Plus Skuld is our most likely candidate for Subject X, so it's more likely that she isn't dead of old age when BBS happens.

Crazy part is the way xehanort harbor hoder and won is the same way terra harbored eraqus and got through to him.
