I always knew the majority of streamers were cheaters.. but for 6 of the top 10 in ranked to be cheating is pretty sad. i also know there are a lot more cheaters below that top 10 with out a doubt, its pretty fucking pathetic honestly.. Activision Ricochet anti-cheat is worthless. I plat a lot of warzone and I run into cheaters on a daily bases.. FPS games are fun and very competitive and thats why I love playing them, but its becoming a game of who's software is better not who's skill is better..

I just made platinum today it looks. Sheesh has it’s been a grind on my Xbox. I play Rank Warzone and can confirm the cheating is real every match at least 20 people are running some form of anti-recoil, walls the works. The thing that gets me is this hyper speed movement they seem to have.
I’ve gotten shadowbanned 21 times between Warzone 2 Al Mazrah and Now. It’s absolutely insane that I can shadowbanned for getting 3 kills, and then run into blatant cheaters ruining streaks and ranked games. It makes me so furious, but I’m helpless.
Did you really? Im only a 2.9 kd player, most of my games are 10+ kills with plenty 20+ and I've never been shadowbanned, nor did my friend that has similar stats to me.

Correction, the IT Security department is either laxed about it because the higher ups let it slide for content to sell Skins or they just are not running enough Intel into these accounts and Discord channels.
They have the data, they don't even need to see or find the cheats. The hit trackers and %accuracy is enough to catch these people. There's limitations to what humans can do compared to a bot
@@TreYay83 they would need to check over a long span, compare towards real aim assist, verify against sensitivity, ads sens multiplier, look for inputs and such, Else legit players would Get punnished. I have between 30-60% headshot% on most smg in warzone3, i ended warzone 2 with most kills on crossbow, and a 8,5kd with crossbow. 95% of my kills in warzone 2 and warzone 3 is with crossbow/sniper and still i have more kills with throwing knives than my top 2 guns. Im still far from a pro, i have like a 1.5kd in total, but such an accurate check would ban me. Cause overall based on my total of kills 70% of them are headshots.
I already quit myself - Hacking problem is only getting worse by the day. It's pointless to even consider playing call of duty. It's not even a game anymore.
@e633 I was in the higher ranks and I can say I encountered hackers the entire way through. Also - what's the point in playing when I frequently get 7-day shadowbans from people rage reporting me... Because I got shadowbanned once my account is flagged, so when I'm not shadowbanned it only takes a couple rage reports to get my account shadowbanned for another 7 days again. Can't even play this game consistently.
@@KkorruptShow Wherever there is competition there is people who want to take a shortcut. What you say is true. However... I've been playing a ton of 2042 and that's been fantastic lately. There might be some cheaters but you don't really notice them in a 32vs32 or 64vs64 battle. It's become my main "jump in and play" game since quitting CoD. I also really enjoy my favorite game of all time which still has a community: Jedi Academy... the skill ceiling is insane! Literally a virtual martial art. I love the community, people take on mentor student relationships and push each other to the top... so much fun... And the scripts people use do give an edge but not much when it comes to duels. I also really like MMOs which you don't find cheaters in. ESO pvp is really fun, Haven't played ff14 in a long time but I hear they have good pvp now and might go check that out. WoW arenas were really fun at one time but I just don't play the game anymore - got bored of it. I love RPGs so I can go play a bunch that I've bought but haven't played yet. So yeah there are hackers all around, luckily most of them are in FPS games. So since quitting CoD and playing other games and BF2042 which are big lobbies, I don't really encounter hackers anymore which is lovely. It's actually disgusting how many CoD players cheat. I also play a lot of TTRPGs with friends. You know, DnD, Pathfinder, and other ttrpg games. Most of my time is spent working on my TTRPG book, actually, that I hope to publish by the end of the year or sometime in the next.

You can still script on console, but you won't have things like wall hacks, radar, etc... but buying a console just to play cod is ridiculous xD - I've switched to bf2042 and am loving it. Bro the shadow ban system is the worst thing in the world. I got shadowed for 2 weeks, came back, played for a day, an got shadowed again. Makes me not even want to play anymore.

The take “if you get shadowed, then you must be doing something wrong” is entirely ignorant because if I did then wouldn’t you think I’d be banned by now? What’s even more infuriating is I’ll get shadowbanned for getting like 3 kills, then running into blatant hackers who have 20-30 spectators that don’t.
This needs way more views then it has, Cheating is so bad in ranked at the moment. Activision needs to ban these people and actually have a department in there game studio that takes action instead of relying on ricochet and AI.

I ve had cheaters on my team during ranked who admitted they have multiple accounts in the top 250 and they were even bragging that no matter how many people report them, they can't do anything about it, they'll continue to cheat and there are more cheaters than we think in the top 250. It's sad but true
They don't allow it. They have literally hundreds of employees combatting cheating. These cheat devs are reeeeeeaaaaalllly good. It's not as simple as some people think it is.
cheats used to be something you used to make people angry , now it's profitable for both parties, as long as viewers watch the video's and drive ad revenue cheats become more popular. In those discords they even have full guides on how to start a youtube kill highlight channels using cheats. As long as the video's get views and tons of fans saying " man that's awesome wish I could do that comments" it only going to get worse.

I've been saying this since BO4, glad someone put in the work. The entire ranked system is rigged and has nothing to do with skill. Some of the best players I have ever played with can't get past gold while kids who can't even aim with 6 months under their belt are iridescent.

You know you can go to Activision website and file a appeal for ban review and it will tell you if you are Shadow banned or not because I'm not believing what you're saying or what this dude is saying because those stats you listed and the stats this dude talks about are horrific and if your getting reported with such horrific stats then either you are cheating or your full of shit because there's no way someone or Multiple people are reporting someone with such horrific stats because Ricochet is dismissing that instantly and I do not believe there are multiple people reporting you for what I'm seeing as your stats. Now it could be reports on chat, or offensive text, usernames etc. or reverse boosting, manipulating the game. Etc etc. or your just rage hacking and trying to play dumb. I don't know what's the truth and what's really being left out, what's not being told.
I have been a member of several of these discords for years and good friends with a lot of cheaters. There are a lot more people closet cheating than those that are rage hacking. Most of them go unnoticed for years because they are excellent at hiding it.

There is no one in warzone top 250 that’s legit. Think about it, there is no legit player that can hold their ground against a juiced up cheater. Keep in mind there is well over 250 players cheating. We would be fools to believe that every spot isn’t taken by a cheater. There is no room for legit players. For example, I just got to crimson 1 and the game isn’t even playable anymore. What I noticed, the higher you get in the ranks, the more cheaters you come across.

i knew pain and ezra were sus, played them in a ranked lobby and ezra knew where I was when i was hidden in a spot and didnt move at all, no uav or portable was up since i went back and watched ezras vod. cheating fucks that cost me time and I know for a fact they knew they werent playing legit yet saying stuff like "nice kill" or "shitter". Activision does not care. I am pretty sure their developers are also making the high-end cheats for the game. Someone is leaking new code, because the cheats are updated within minutes of game patches downloading on steam. Another investigative reporter covered this fact so I believe it is probably accurate. I just avoid games companies that do not appear to take anti-cheat seriously. We need to take their revenues away.
4 years ago, when a channel named Karma2 was showing blatant hack that Shroud using. That was the first time I thought "new fps games probably give big streamers hacks so they can have a great promotion for their games." Years passed and I think this is almost a business normal right now. We will never see these guys banned because they are simply marketing tools. So only thing left we can warn people but people are denying the truth they seen with their own eyes, sadly 😢

My whole thing with this started when i would watch a streamer go nuts rushing everywhere, dropping 30-40 kill games, never looking side to side or behind. Always forward never ending fights. Also btw I don’t know if you know this but cheaters can also hardware tag you if you’re on PC. They can tag anything on your computer besides a couple things. Being hardware tagged you will get shadowed every single week when you get unshadowed. I had this happen to me and no matter what account I played on I got shadowed banned. Only way to fix this problem was to buy a new PC
I really rate this video. Its so much better than anything any of the 'hacker hunters' have done as it contains actual proof. What's crazy is you can see by their movement these players are good, add in walls/soft AB and what do you get - top 250. Great job. Impressive commitment to the problem. Unfortunatelly most of us already lost the faith. The game is unplayable since long ago. Those of you who are good, made it here cause most probably have been killing dozens of (bad) cheaters a day. But those like me who are very average players can't play anymore. I find only people who is way better than me, or cheaters. For me, it's over. And to be honest, I can't find any way to explain how activision can't clean this mess. Well, only one: only if somehow they are part of the issue, allowing for too long many streamers to cheat. Specially warzone has been the arena where many cheaters have florished and turned into the best Activision sales force. And now activision can't ban them without losing at least 50-60% of their streaming hours.

Everyone in the top 100 leaderboard is hacking/cheating. You can tell by their stats. In zombies for example the leader in kills has like 30,000. The leader in criticals has like 98% etc. It’s a been a known thing for awhile. Hacking has ruined most competitive video games. That’s why I don’t play much online anymore
I've actually went against the vandal. It was a small map mosh pit and I was wondering how he was getting so many good shots on me and I had a whole shotgun. What made it funnier is that he lost because I was using an ACS and it was hardpoint. He was definitely wall hacking because after noticing how there was no way he knew I was there that perfectly because I was just sitting around the corner with the assassins vest so I am off radar to the entire team but yet he just comes in and snaps on to me 😭
Im done with ranked, some games i win i get no SR, games where teamates leave i lose SR, sometimes i wait for a game and ill wait 20 mins then ill get a dev error and loss SR plus be suspended. And the damn cruise missle still dosent work. Ranked is a joke.
Amazing video man, appreciate the hard work you put into shedding some light on the state of COD and its anti cheat today. I was false-banned around mid 2021 in MW19 as a higher-ranking MP player typically sitting at top 1-3% of players in the OCE region, if those Warzone stats websites are actually worth believing. This was prior to Ricochet but the core of newer call of duty anti-cheats have remained fundamentally the same since their inception, still running the same bones as its predecessors and were already antiquated on release. To answer your question of "Why are regular people getting shadow-banned/false-banned while rampant cheaters aren't?", I'd have to guess its because IW/SLG/3ARC dont have the resources to manually review cheating cases, which leads developers to create layers and layers of automated processes to do the heavy lifting for them, but over time these developers have let these automated processes become the primary method of resolving these issues, meaning developers and managers will look at the results purely at face value. In their eyes the system cant do wrong or everything is wrong and that leads to the crux of the argument - Newer cheats have become incredibly sophisticated and are actively playing defense for the user making it harder for Anti-cheat processes to detect and making false-bans far more prevalent; feeding bad data into Ricochet making it far less accurate. Design philosophy regarding Anti-cheat has always been a precarious game of 'Pick 2 of 3 of the following: Fast, effective, accurate' and from what we've seen, IW's anti-cheat measures have never been accurate or at times effective. IW has tried to make something out of Ricochet by feeding it data of confirmed cheaters but I think IW has favored this method of strengthening anti-cheat instead of capturing the code of these cheat developers and fixing potential exploits in their software. I'm positive that there are plenty of extremely talented developers at Activision that hate seeing the state the game is in now but are just stuck spectating the mess unfold as development continues to focus in areas that generate revenue over player experience. I had lost faith in the state of affairs after my MW19 ban as the process to even attempt an appeal was an incredibly tedious and frustrating experience lasting over a month, already knowing that even 5 years ago cheaters were running rampant on stolen accounts and bypassing IP/HWID bans with the press of a button. I don't know what the developers can do at this point to curb the issue anymore...
Played a match on rio as a P2 against a team of smurfs, they were like low lvl golds and plats, they blended us on rio and knew every spot we pushed, there pre fires and held angles were batshit, it was so obvious they were hacking

Damn near impossible to detect cheats with a dual PC DMA setup. Even blatant hackers using this setup will usually only get a 1 week shadowban, but unable to prove it so the account remains open.
Im playing online since CoD2 and there was Aimbot cheating back then, but not this sophisticated. It was like stand on the middle of the map and shoot headshots everywhere at once.

I remember using engine owning in Mw2 and every top 250 squad I played against had hackers. I know because I had them too. When you have hacks you can easily tell when others have them. Players would hold corners until you turned around and they would shoot through walls if it got close at the end
I’m glad evidence is popping up hard and often. Folks called me crazy, now I’m getting proven right, not paranoid. I stopped cheating because I wasn’t a kid playing MW2 no more. I’m now a player with pride, and I can sniff out these cheats from a mile away.

my son bought multiplayer,and he was banned, he doesnt even cheat, he was so upset, he doesnt even want to hear anything about it...i almost feel guilty playing warzone when my son got banned for no reason, and we got all these dam hackers doing this
They don’t just rank to the top un noticed , they gain most of their SR in shadow ban lobbies when they get hit for the spam reporting , in the shadow ban lobbies is where its full on rage hacking and is how they continue to gain SR even being in limited matchmaking mode .

I always knew the majority of streamers were cheaters.. but for 6 of the top 10 in ranked to be cheating is pretty sad. i also know there are a lot more cheaters below that top 10 with out a doubt, its pretty fucking pathetic honestly.. Activision Ricochet anti-cheat is worthless. I plat a lot of warzone and I run into cheaters on a daily bases.. FPS games are fun and very competitive and thats why I love playing them, but its becoming a game of who's software is better not who's skill is better..

I’ve gotten shadowbanned 21 times between Warzone 2 Al Mazrah and Now. It’s absolutely insane that I can shadowbanned for getting 3 kills, and then run into blatant cheaters ruining streaks and ranked games. It makes me so furious, but I’m helpless.

I have between 30-60% headshot% on most smg in warzone3, i ended warzone 2 with most kills on crossbow, and a 8,5kd with crossbow. 95% of my kills in warzone 2 and warzone 3 is with crossbow/sniper and still i have more kills with throwing knives than my top 2 guns.
Im still far from a pro, i have like a 1.5kd in total, but such an accurate check would ban me. Cause overall based on my total of kills 70% of them are headshots.

@e633 I was in the higher ranks and I can say I encountered hackers the entire way through. Also - what's the point in playing when I frequently get 7-day shadowbans from people rage reporting me... Because I got shadowbanned once my account is flagged, so when I'm not shadowbanned it only takes a couple rage reports to get my account shadowbanned for another 7 days again. Can't even play this game consistently.

I've been playing a ton of 2042 and that's been fantastic lately. There might be some cheaters but you don't really notice them in a 32vs32 or 64vs64 battle. It's become my main "jump in and play" game since quitting CoD.
I also really enjoy my favorite game of all time which still has a community: Jedi Academy... the skill ceiling is insane! Literally a virtual martial art. I love the community, people take on mentor student relationships and push each other to the top... so much fun... And the scripts people use do give an edge but not much when it comes to duels.
I also really like MMOs which you don't find cheaters in. ESO pvp is really fun, Haven't played ff14 in a long time but I hear they have good pvp now and might go check that out. WoW arenas were really fun at one time but I just don't play the game anymore - got bored of it.
I love RPGs so I can go play a bunch that I've bought but haven't played yet.
So yeah there are hackers all around, luckily most of them are in FPS games. So since quitting CoD and playing other games and BF2042 which are big lobbies, I don't really encounter hackers anymore which is lovely. It's actually disgusting how many CoD players cheat.
I also play a lot of TTRPGs with friends. You know, DnD, Pathfinder, and other ttrpg games.
Most of my time is spent working on my TTRPG book, actually, that I hope to publish by the end of the year or sometime in the next.

You can still script on console, but you won't have things like wall hacks, radar, etc... but buying a console just to play cod is ridiculous xD - I've switched to bf2042 and am loving it. What’s even more infuriating is I’ll get shadowbanned for getting like 3 kills, then running into blatant hackers who have 20-30 spectators that don’t.
This needs way more views then it has, Cheating is so bad in ranked at the moment. Activision needs to ban these people and actually have a department in there game studio that takes action instead of relying on ricochet and AI.

cheats used to be something you used to make people angry , now it's profitable for both parties, as long as viewers watch the video's and drive ad revenue cheats become more popular. In those discords they even have full guides on how to start a youtube kill highlight channels using cheats. As long as the video's get views and tons of fans saying " man that's awesome wish I could do that comments" it only going to get worse.

I have been a member of several of these discords for years and good friends with a lot of cheaters. There are a lot more people closet cheating than those that are rage hacking. Most of them go unnoticed for years because they are excellent at hiding it.

There is no one in warzone top 250 that’s legit. Think about it, there is no legit player that can hold their ground against a juiced up cheater. Keep in mind there is well over 250 players cheating. We would be fools to believe that every spot isn’t taken by a cheater. There is no room for legit players. For example, I just got to crimson 1 and the game isn’t even playable anymore. What I noticed, the higher you get in the ranks, the more cheaters you come across.

Activision does not care. I am pretty sure their developers are also making the high-end cheats for the game. Someone is leaking new code, because the cheats are updated within minutes of game patches downloading on steam. Another investigative reporter covered this fact so I believe it is probably accurate. I just avoid games companies that do not appear to take anti-cheat seriously. We need to take their revenues away.

MASSIVE PROPS man. Seriously about time someone getting the proof needed and showing the stuff people cant see or dont even think is possible. My whole thing with this started when i would watch a streamer go nuts rushing everywhere, dropping 30-40 kill games, never looking side to side or behind. Always forward never ending fights. Meanwhile when i play theres times i dont see someone for almost 5 mins and im looking side to side and behind me looking for ppl. And definitely missing shots. But not these streamers. Also btw I don’t know if you know this but cheaters can also hardware tag you if you’re on PC. They can tag anything on your computer besides a couple things. Being hardware tagged you will get shadowed every single week when you get unshadowed. I had this happen to me and no matter what account I played on I got shadowed banned. Only way to fix this problem was to buy a new PC

Unfortunatelly most of us already lost the faith. The game is unplayable since long ago. Those of you who are good, made it here cause most probably have been killing dozens of (bad) cheaters a day. But those like me who are very average players can't play anymore. I find only people who is way better than me, or cheaters. For me, it's over.
And to be honest, I can't find any way to explain how activision can't clean this mess. Well, only one: only if somehow they are part of the issue, allowing for too long many streamers to cheat. Specially warzone has been the arena where many cheaters have florished and turned into the best Activision sales force. And now activision can't ban them without losing at least 50-60% of their streaming hours.

As a fellow player who’s been falsely shadow banned for absolutely nothing I am truly at a loss of word for what cod has come to.
Everyone in the top 100 leaderboard is hacking/cheating. You can tell by their stats. In zombies for example the leader in kills has like 30,000. The leader in criticals has like 98% etc. It’s a been a known thing for awhile. Hacking has ruined most competitive video games. That’s why I don’t play much online anymore

I've actually went against the vandal. It was a small map mosh pit and I was wondering how he was getting so many good shots on me and I had a whole shotgun. What made it funnier is that he lost because I was using an ACS and it was hardpoint. He was definitely wall hacking because after noticing how there was no way he knew I was there that perfectly because I was just sitting around the corner with the assassins vest so I am off radar to the entire team but yet he just comes in and snaps on to me 😭
Im done with ranked, some games i win i get no SR, games where teamates leave i lose SR, sometimes i wait for a game and ill wait 20 mins then ill get a dev error and loss SR plus be suspended. And the damn cruise missle still dosent work. Ranked is a joke.
Amazing video man, appreciate the hard work you put into shedding some light on the state of COD and its anti cheat today. I was false-banned around mid 2021 in MW19 as a higher-ranking MP player typically sitting at top 1-3% of players in the OCE region, if those Warzone stats websites are actually worth believing. This was prior to Ricochet but the core of newer call of duty anti-cheats have remained fundamentally the same since their inception, still running the same bones as its predecessors and were already antiquated on release.
To answer your question of "Why are regular people getting shadow-banned/false-banned while rampant cheaters aren't?", I'd have to guess its because IW/SLG/3ARC dont have the resources to manually review cheating cases, which leads developers to create layers and layers of automated processes to do the heavy lifting for them, but over time these developers have let these automated processes become the primary method of resolving these issues, meaning developers and managers will look at the results purely at face value. In their eyes the system cant do wrong or everything is wrong and that leads to the crux of the argument - Newer cheats have become incredibly sophisticated and are actively playing defense for the user making it harder for Anti-cheat processes to detect and making false-bans far more prevalent; feeding bad data into Ricochet making it far less accurate.
Design philosophy regarding Anti-cheat has always been a precarious game of 'Pick 2 of 3 of the following: Fast, effective, accurate' and from what we've seen, IW's anti-cheat measures have never been accurate or at times effective. IW has tried to make something out of Ricochet by feeding it data of confirmed cheaters but I think IW has favored this method of strengthening anti-cheat instead of capturing the code of these cheat developers and fixing potential exploits in their software.
I'm positive that there are plenty of extremely talented developers at Activision that hate seeing the state the game is in now but are just stuck spectating the mess unfold as development continues to focus in areas that generate revenue over player experience. I had lost faith in the state of affairs after my MW19 ban as the process to even attempt an appeal was an incredibly tedious and frustrating experience lasting over a month, already knowing that even 5 years ago cheaters were running rampant on stolen accounts and bypassing IP/HWID bans with the press of a button. I don't know what the developers can do at this point to curb the issue anymore...
Played a match on rio as a P2 against a team of smurfs, they were like low lvl golds and plats, they blended us on rio and knew every spot we pushed, there pre fires and held angles were batshit, it was so obvious they were hacking

Damn near impossible to detect cheats with a dual PC DMA setup. Even blatant hackers using this setup will usually only get a 1 week shadowban, but unable to prove it so the account remains open.
Im playing online since CoD2 and there was Aimbot cheating back then, but not this sophisticated. It was like stand on the middle of the map and shoot headshots everywhere at once.

I remember using engine owning in Mw2 and every top 250 squad I played against had hackers. I know because I had them too. When you have hacks you can easily tell when others have them. Players would hold corners until you turned around and they would shoot through walls if it got close at the end
I’m glad evidence is popping up hard and often. Folks called me crazy, now I’m getting proven right, not paranoid. I stopped cheating because I wasn’t a kid playing MW2 no more. I’m now a player with pride, and I can sniff out these cheats from a mile away.
I was watching the stream live today and one of the guys says I got scanned so they stopped the queue and said something about clearing the cfg files. (Talking in code) Instantly thought of this video. That right there is all the proof I needed.

my son bought multiplayer,and he was banned, he doesnt even cheat, he was so upset, he doesnt even want to hear anything about it...i almost feel guilty playing warzone when my son got banned for no reason, and we got all these dam hackers doing this
They don’t just rank to the top un noticed , they gain most of their SR in shadow ban lobbies when they get hit for the spam reporting , in the shadow ban lobbies is where its full on rage hacking and is how they continue to gain SR even being in limited matchmaking mode .
This should definitely get picked up and talked about in the COD community. Like Timthetatman, Doc, and Nickmercs
