That’s an incredible time with minimal aero. It’s a shame Toyota didn’t bring these to the United States… patiently waiting to see what the GR Corolla brings to the table.
Americans are to be blamed for this car not been sold here, not Toyota.
@@wingmantx exactly, if the regular yaris was sold here then we would have gotten the Yaris GR-Four as well, but Toyota isn't going to spend money to certify a car their only going to sell a small amount of.
@@deet4895 That isn't true at all, this car required new certs anyway, it isn't actually a Yaris. Plus Toyota lose money on every car sold, they are hand built for the most part.

Not a light tune by any stretch of imagination, but no wild aero etc. Engine and suspension must've undergone full build process.
So smooth. This lightly tuned 360ps is faster than most of the purpose built Time Attack machine
It’s 410bhp Motec ECU, fully stripped interior and lots of mods. Very impressive all the same though for sure.

@@Jaredscott89 the wheel base is actually very similar but a hair over for the Yaris & the track is actually wider than the s15. Thus, Yaris's stance is longer& wider

Anyone know how much this car has been turned up to? Stock trim is 270hp.
Based on the video it's around 350-360hp, although in another video it's actually around 400hp+ and the interior was stripped out.
@@AbrahamArthemius I recreated this run on gran Turismo sport. Maxed out the power and reduced the weight some and got just under this time. Now I know why the car isn’t allowed in the United States.

ラリーのために作った車がここまで早いんだからトヨタがヤリス並みに力をいれてワイドローなミッドシップの車作ったらどれだけ速くなるんだろうか。めちゃくちゃ気になる。
まぁGRヤリスを除いてトヨタ車のスポーツは速さを求めた方向性じゃないから実現はしないんだけどさ
でもこのヤリスのパワトレと駆動系をのせれば往年のMR2みたいに適当なFFのシャシーでとりあえずMRの形作っただけで相当速くなりそう

I dont think so. Looks like both will be quick as hell. The HKS GR86 gutted but with stock body and basically stock power already ran a 1:01.8 and that same car is now widebody, with a big wing, and turbo'd. So when it goes back it will be aiming at this same time range.
この車マニュアルあるの？
2つのグレードがあって上のがMT、下のがATです。上のグレードにはタイプがあってハイパフォーマンスを選べばホイールとか塗装などが変わります。ATはノーマルヤリスとほぼ同じエンジンなんで見た目と足回りだけに近いかな〜って感じです。
この映像のはMTのRZハイパフォーマンスで間違いないかと
嫁に同じこと聞かれたが「むしろマニュアルしかない」と答えた。（RSの存在は伏せてある。）
ちなみに嫁は限定無なのでMT乗れるがペーパーなのでATの存在を知られたらRS行くのは間違いないので絶対にその存在は知られてはならない。

Most cars you see on this channel are using the same tire or better. A050 are 180TW, far from racing slicks. You can see the whole run in this video how could it be fake? Plus this is a legit channel. The lap time does seems too good to be true though...
