I’m sorry but in the original cartoon Snow White wasn’t waiting to be saved. She was content with living how she lived and she just wish to find love.
Then, when evil witch wanted her dead she kinda saved herself and find shelter in dwarfes’ house. She cleaned their house and cooked for them in return cause they allowed her to stay in their house.
Prince was literally 1 minute in the start of the cartoon and 1 minute in the end. Original Snowwhite wasn’t ever about love and being saved by Prince. It was about being KIND and NOT ALLOWING YOURSELF BE A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCES.

Another reason this is not Snow White Snow White cleaned the house with the help of her animal friends and when she was firm with the dwarves in regards to washing their hands before supper, she was firm, but she was also gentle. Well the stories I have been read, was not the "familiy friendly" ones. Just the good old grimm style like parents around the world have been telling their kids before bedtime. No problem with story telling by parents. Could stop at any time, explain, give a little twist suited om how the child takes it. Current Disney sounds like they did not get the moral of the story. Why would the animals and the dwarfs like snowhite? Tje hunter, the animals, the dwarfs, they liked her because she was nice, considerate, caring. Yes and pretty to the eye. But so was the queen. But an ugly character. There lies the main moral imo. At least that is how it was read and explained to me. She cares for and takes care of others. And others return that favour.

Does Peter Dinklage even know the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? The Dwarfs didn't live in a F@!king Cave, they lived in a Cottage deep in the forest and worked in the cave digging gems all day. Snow White hid from the Evil Queen in the cottage while she cooked and cleaned for the Dwarfs making it Cosey and welcoming for the Dwarfs when they came home at the end of the day. It's one of the all time favourite fairy tales and he doesn't even know it.
I never really learnt about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, thank you for enlightening me. I thought they lived in a cave from what ye ol' Dinklage said.

"The mission" / Priority for anyone that wants to create entertainment is to ENTERTAIN people! That's how you make money. Force injecting political nonsense like DEI and ESG destroy the fun and immersion of watching a movies, that's why movies that does this tanks at the box office, over and over and over again. If you prioritize good product FIRST, then maybe add subtle political nuance as a secondary objective, you will most likely succeed making a good product, the other way around has a very low chance of success. I'm not sure if you worded this video title and description incorrectly on purpose or not, but Brett Cooper is NOT replacing Rachel Zegler. They were both involved in two completely different "Snow White" film projects. There's been no confirmation of Rachel being removed from the Disney project, either.
I'll wait for snow white "the fan reboot". As many will know, snow white license is about 11 years away from expiring and cannot be renewed.
Disney definitely used Dinklage as a scapegoat. Hollywood has been removing dwarf actors for awhile now. They planned to do so already, and had the perfect guy to blame.

Dont defend him: what he said there in regards of the dwarves in "Snow White" tells us enough about both his opinion about other dwarf actors and about his non existent knowledge about the movie and its source material itself.
Dinklage pulled the ladder up behind him.
In this particular case the entire mess can be laid at dinklage's feet. Dinklage sees himself now as a romantic leading man and is looking for parts as a romantic leading man.
He he does not want to be cast anymore in anything he considers to be a dwarf part. When he was hired for Snow White he told Disney to get rid of the 6th other dwarf actors that had already been cast and dump the 7 dwarves theme. He told disney to come up with a different concept and cast 6 other actors of normal stature. This was never about a statement about little people or little people in the acting industry this was always about him and his ego and and how he saw himself as a romantic leading man and no longer wanted to be seen as a dwarf. The test audiences hated the seven magical people or whatever they had called them. It was such a bad response the Disney had no choice but to get rid of them as well as dinklage, go back to the original dwarf theme, and because of the constraints of money and time had to CGI the dwarves in. So the final verson has the 7 dwarves, just in CGI form, which according to test audiences have a very much an uncanny valley vibe that audiences find unsettling.
Peter Dinklage couldn't possibly be THAT offended, cause he accepted the role and the cash bag....
He gets "big" and famous and then proceeds to say shit so that nobody else like him gets to act. Nobody other than him, anyway.
This is what happenes when actors think they have some sort of right to tell people how to live and think. Actors are not smarter then their fans, often are much less so. They are just entertainers. That's all.

They're not just changing the plot, they're also changing the roles, snow white is now jealous of the evil witch queen for her looks and the witch queen gets tricked by the lying magic mirror.

Ah yes, the people screaming they want "traditional fairy tales", when they cleary have no idea what that means. If they knew what the original fairy tales were like, they would be traumatized. Those stories are DARK and gorey. The people claiming they want traditional only know the Disney films, which already made big changes to the stories to appeal to the audiences of that time.

She DOES like the character and story, it's why she was dying to play it. To girls, the point of being Snow White is that she was the most beautiful in both appearance and character.
Modern Disney is using the SAME character and making a different story around her. What she spoke on was the original.. and her thoughts would have come from DISNEY.
The original Snow White was literally considered the most beautiful partially because she had WHITE skin. Obviously that's taboo in 2024. Her infinite amount of innocence also led her to be naive and foolish, not understanding the ways of the world. A MODERN Snow White is clearly going to have to make some changes there because nothing about the original screams "Girl Power."

And prettier. Another possible meaning could be fair as in just, but Sandy Brown isn't winning that one either.
Brett Cooper actually looks like Snow White, walking straight out of the animated Picture into reality. Only the nose is a little bit too big. But the rest of her face, the hair, the skin tone and the form of her head and broad neck fit perfectly with the animated Snow White figure.
This is a garbage story. She is starring in a version filmed by "The Daily Wire". She's not "replacing" Zegler in the Disney version.

It’s Clickbait because she isn’t replacing Rachel in the role, it also isn’t breaking news. Everyone has known about this for over a year now. Rachel is still Snow White in Disney’s version and that is deeply unfortunate.
As the others said already, its clickbait - for the reasons they said. Nowhere in this video are we seeing Zegler's reaction or opinion about the Daily Wire's plans, nowhere is there a statement from Disney. This isnt news, its months old.

Last I checked, the whole premise of the Grimm’s fairy tale was that Snow White was the fairest not only because of her physical beauty(“skin WHITE as snow, ruby red lips, and hair as black as ebony”), but especially because of her love and kindness that she showed anyone or anything she encountered. The message of this fairy tale is that beauty isn’t only skin deep. But I guess such values aren’t important anymore. Tragic.

Especially since she was a kid in the original version. It was never about looks. I even think that the 3 characteristics represented something. The snow white skin could represent purity, the bloody red lips could represent warmth and kindness and the ebony black hair could be nobility, due to being a rare material. Even the use of the word fairest instead of most beautiful indicates that, since it can also refer to inner beauty. And that's what Snow White truly is, the purest soul.

The original mirror had to be fired as it simply refused to call Zegler fair. When Gal is doing the asking, you get inspired to make a stand. However, they did find a teleprompter loaned from the Biden family that was willing to do the job. It kept asking though "Have you seen Joe anywhere? He disappeared but is supposed to be running a country."
