Christmas at the end of January?! 🎅🏻🤯 We know it might be a little strange but we really wanted to share this footage with you! We hope you enjoyed regardless 🥰
I like the music at the beginning of the video, had me prancing around the kitchen lol Swinging, swaying etcetera 😂 😂😂 🙂🐿🌈❤️ P.s when you put the tiller duck in, you usually go “Quack”. You left me hanging this time ha ha I was expecting a swan sound - a honk and/or a hiss perhaps 😂🤔😂 Hanging for the honk ❤
It was so nice to see the time that you had at Christmas with your families. Rufus didn’t look too impressed with the puppy 😄 Thanks so much for picking me for comment of the week. I feel really happy 😊 Take care. Nick
Thank you! Haha, he was very well behaved with the puppy, even when freddie was biting his tail 😅 Yay! Thank you for your lovely comments each week! We really appreciate them!
Really enjoyed the vlog this week, struggling at the minute with my own MH so watching the channels I enjoy brings me a short burst of happiness!!! I'm glad you all had a lovely Christmas!
Hi luv yr vlogs and the way you take care of your pet giving them their own little space also you can get a directional chimney shield to stop the smoke check out Danni n Joes take care now Ann n David not boaters but watch a few of you we are to old to change now 😂
Looks like you had a fab Christmas. Interesting to see the gardens and the house boat. Was funny to see Rufus n the puppy together. Your bunny looked mega cute!! And what awesome prezzies you had. Thankyou so much for a great watch ❣
Happy belated Christmas! We just had our first Christmas as boaters too. So much truth when you said how boring a car journey is now compared to cruising! We say exactly the same! 😊
Same to you! 🎄 Saw your tour video on tiktok, amazing!! 👏🏻 love your little doggies! Haha, right? they are just so boring now and you cant go for a wee if you need one 😅😅
@@BoatTime really can’t believe how many views and comments we’ve had on that TikTok now! Seems like everyone loves to have a.nosey inside a narrowboat. And see cute westies 😂😂
Amy, Wes, what a lovely Vlog. What a great Christmas you had. Loved that you took Rupey with Rufus to your Mums, which made it a complete family Christmas. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
Suggestion, and sorry if it gets a bit long winded!! Next time, fill your diesel to the brim and cruise as normal, just write down each day how long you've run the engine. In a few months, fill up again and see how much diesel you have used. You can then do an approximation of the diesel you use on a normal day. That way, you can have an idea of how long you can go before a refill. Also if you dip the tank and put a mark on your stick at full, and put another mark on before you fill up again, you'll also get an idea of how much the tank holds and you can then put other marks at 1/4 full, 1/2 full and 3/4 full. It's very likely that your tank will be around 210 L. Sorry to bore you when you've just shown your exciting Christmas :-)
Oooh that's a great idea! Thank you, we will have to try and remember this for the next time we fill up. Not boring us at all, we welcome any and all tips! 😊
Awww merry christmas you two!! 🥰 love the cheeky burger king ahahaha. That was so wild to see the overfilled canal from the open lock. If I was one of those people on one of those properties, I'd be like, uuuuuuuhhhh 😬 Good on Wes for shutting it!
A belated Merry Christmas to you too! 😅 It's always a bit scary when you find a lock that's been left open, because if you hadn't found it it might've drained the whole thing! 😨
It was lovely! We started planning to be close to family in September haha! The most organised we have been for Christmas! Excited for you for your first Christmas 😊🎄
Ahh... that was lovely to watch back to Christmas, we had our last on land and gave away our xmas tree ! Kèeping some of the decs though!! If you master how to stop the boat moving from one side to another in the double locks pls tell on a future vlog.... we have 57 doubles to do up the GU from the Thames in April and any info on the nack will be appreciated!!! Xxx
Hi Amy/Wes, Although your Xmas vlog was a tad late, it still was an excellent every day insight running up to Xmas day + Boxing day!! Loved it. Glad you both had a lovely stress free family Christmas. Take care and stay safe...

Hey John! 👋🏻 Thank you for your lovely comment! Happy belated new year! It was lovely to see family and be close to them after travelling for the year! Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 Dont worry, we do have an automatic bilge pump! We just sometimes set it off manually to clear more out than the sensor picks up. Take care John! :)
Love the permanent house boats. I wonder do they need to be blackened? How could you even do it? In America we have quite a few areas with lots of these type house/no motor boat homes and in a couple areas they can start at 1 million dollars and go up a good bit. Susan
They're so stunning! No idea how they work though, or how you would black them! We'll have to do a little research. Oh wow that's expensive! I think they're seen as more affordable living over here! x

LOL, I had to laugh at the shot of the empty Asda shelves, and then the cut to your mounded high trolly.🤣🤣
Haha! Yeah we felt bad clearing out the remaining items of some of the shelves 😂😂
That house boat is stunning. You should try catch up with Channel 4's Our floating home series. Lots of gorgeous ones on there! x
Ooo yes! Will have to give it a watch 😊 thank you! X
Amy, Wes, what a lovely Vlog. What a great Christmas you had. Loved that you took Rupey with Rufus to your Mums, which made it a complete family Christmas. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
Thank you! We were so glad we could have a nice family Christmas. We hope you had a great holiday too! 💕
Aww I got so emotional watching you guys open presents with your furbabies x
Haha! They are so adorable. Rufus seems to think anything in wrapping paper is his 😂😂
Great vlog. We find driving quite stressful after boat life as people are in such a rush. Glad you had a lovely Christmas 🎄
Thank you so much 🥰 Yes! was crazy to see how fast the cars go and everyone is so impatient on the roads! 🚗
Christmas din dins looked amazing! And your gifts you got were so thoughtful!
Omg id eat it all over again right now if I could haha! Yeah the family did good with boat gifts! 🥰
thanks for watching!

Thanks Gary! We tried to capture as much as we could without missing being in the moment. I'm glad you enjoyed! Take care and stay safe too! x
Double locks -try opening the paddles the same side as the boat first. One visitor mooring sounds familiar. We found the same in Gloucester basin.
Ah thank you for the tip! We tried this the other day and it seemed to make a difference! Still takes a bit of getting used to but thank you! 💕

Dell done Hou 2 for coping Smith tour 1st river experience
Thank you! 😁
What a wonderful time you all had together. Loved the puppy and wasn’t Rufus brilliant and kind with it. Here’s to many more happy times in 2022!
He was such a good boy with the puppy! A very nice older cousin haha 😊
Cheers to a better 2022!
DO SOME BOATERS DELIBERATELY LEAVE PADDLE UP OR IS IT VANDALS????
Sometimes it’s deliberate laziness, sometimes they innocently forget. Sometimes it’s vandals 🤔 a shame
I ask this to random people....do you invest in Crypto?
We don’t 😊
