      This song he's talking about the human vortex. Everyone's got a glass onion.
      I had a book about the Beatles recording sessions. Each time they where in the studio,what songs they worked on that day,the paperwork,thier notes from songs they written..the hours,who was there and what each band member contributed. Its was quite the Beatles book. My sister gave it to me when I graduated HS.

They didn't get too far when he crashed the car and Yoko and her daughter Kyoko landed in hospital. I think that was when Yoko had a bed shipped right in to Beatles rehearsals for herself to lounge in. Definitely when she helped herself to George's food (biscuits) that he needed to be able to stay longer at the rehearsals. George was so pissed off because here she was pretending to be all injured, but thinking the others were out of sight, she suddenly miraculously easily gets out of her bed and makes a beeline for his cookies. They all saw her do that.

    John Lennon wore contact lenses. Why isn't this a thing? There's really no way someone would be able function even remotely normal with vision like that. Even reading lyrics off a stand or the back of his guitar would have been a challenge. The round granny glasses were a part of the character he played, Gripweed, in the film how I Won the War. This was filmed in late summer/early fall 1966 to which he began wearing that style from then on out. In December 1969 he began using an orange tint which was considered good luck in eastern tradition.

    He had Myopia and so do an awful lot of people, but that's a heavy prescription. I find this hard believe as in those days when lenses were made of glass they would have been seriously thick lenses. Also thick lenses make your eyes look smaller. What's this gotta do with anything. I need a -5 power contact lens myself, and I am a musician as well, though no where near as talented as the Great John Lennon.
    Love him or hate him.... The man was a brilliant musician. imagine all the people...

    For reference for his prescription, pretty much anyone who needs a prescription stronger than 2.5 is considered legally blind. I am double that. John is triple that.

    I thought John was an only child and his mom’s name was Julia…..

    • @charwest9449
      @charwest9449 Рік тому

      His mother Julia had an affair with a man named Bobby (?) Dykins while Freddie Lennon was at sea, and ended up divorcing Freddie and marrying him. She had a girl named Julia I think after marrying Dykins. John had basically been kidnapped by his aunt Mimi by age 5, and Mimi insecurely kept John apart from his mother and father, but later his mother figured out that if she pretended she wanted to visit Mimi, she could sneak a visit with John as well. Eventually Mimi allowed John to go to his mother's house for visits and of course have a relationship with his half sister Julia.
