Wow! such a great video. awesome job. That thing looks like it flies so smooth and responds really well. Man I can't wait to get back up in the air with some planes!

She sure flies smooth! I'm running a 2300 3s instead of the recommended 1300... She flies like a badass brick 😅 Can't wait to follow your fixed wing adventures! Thanks for watching!

lol @ the captions. Cool video, thanks for posting. Running lithium batteries in the cold increases the rate at which power is drained considerably. putting a couple hand warmers in the battery compartment would help negate that

Thanks for watching! I'll keep that in mind if the arctic climate comes back 😉

Nice video and good flying 👍 If you’re going to give us flight times and voltages remaining, it’s helpful to tell us what battery pack you’re running or it ain’t that informative ;-) Maidened mine at the weekend, it really is a great flier for such a small and convenient plane. Mine came with the Arrows stabiliser already installed and I think it helped keep wings level through the launch. I ran a 1500mah 3S pack and had 3.9V after 3 mins of pretty conservative flying. Nice scenery, you’re lucky to have such a great location!!

      Thanks!
I got really lucky with the weather that day, great light :)
Stupid of me not to include what pack I'm using, I'll fix it in the next one! I'm running a 2300 3s which is way bigger than what's recommended (1300 3s) but I haven't bothered buying the smaller ones yet since it flies pretty well either way. It's definitely on the heavier side though...
She sure is a great flier! I'd imagine yours got a bit more punch with the correct battery ;) Happy flying and thanks for watching!

Thanks for the nice, and quick, reply.
She looks like she flies fine on those 2300mah 3S packs so you can save yourself the cost and hassle of more sizes! I really regret not rationalising my pack sizes: I run 6 different sizes and that’s only on 3S and 4S planes. I’d definitely recommend thinking hard about each size before you add another to the collection.
Mine accelerates away nicely on 1500 3S, but I probably used way too much throttle being a maiden and wanting to avoid unexpected stalls. Some people run small 4S packs but the ESC isnt rated for it so it’s a gamble I won’t be taking.

Yea these 3s 2300s go in the viper, og timber and my FT mustang. Its really convenient having the same size across all my bigger models.
If I remember correctly my viper has a very forgiving stall even with the extra weight. It isn't something I'm thinking much about while flying. Take her up high and see how she stalls :)
