Just discovered your channel . Awesome ! From Scotland
Omg, the Red Shoes is going to blow your mind. Sooo good. One of my favorites. I'm so excited you're doing this. Learned so much about a few films I've wanted to check out. Thanks, 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Best Criterion reviews I’ve seen... please make some more 👍
The Red Shoes is basically Black Swan, but good.
the cnote Yes!!!! Lmfao!
Nailed it.
Waaaaaait! I LOOOOOVE that you are doing a Criterion Collection video. 😭😭😭😭 🙊🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Haha, collectors gonna collect! I also do comics, blu rays, books... It's a disaster. I count me lucky that my fiancé is of the very tolerant kind.
Nice collection update. I just stumbled upon your channel- good stuff here. 👍😀
First, welcome back bro! Second, Fun fact: M was based on a real serial killer and a great glimpse of prenazi germany.
Lastly, for those who cant afford the CritCollection, filmstruck.com is a great streaming alternative and they have a free trial period for you to binge the shit outta some amazing flims.
Good call, unfortunately I use my PS4 and Xbox for all my streaming and neither of those have filmstruck apps yet. One day I’m sure it’ll come but I still do love the collecting aspect of it!
hey man nice video. You're going to love The Red Shoes!
Just stumbled upon your channel. Great part 1, excited to see the next parts! Subbed!
Nice work man, I like the clips
Criterion do some great cover art!
They do! There’s an art book of their cover and packaging designs which looks really lovely.
i REALLY want Seven Samurai... too bad it's not available in region b =(
Hahaha his last name is pronounced like "cock-toe". lol La Belle et la Bete has some of my favorite visual scenes. Never ceases to amaze me when I watch it, even though it's extremely dated in so many ways.
Shout out to deep, depressive funks!
Yoooo, it's Will
I feel the special features on some of these blurays from them just don't have any extra good stuff and sometimes LESS special features than the regular DVD.
BTW cool looking guardians poster back there
Yeah they can be a little inconsistent, though I do think they have some of the best commentaries out there. Some of them have short films and early works which is a really nice bonus, but others are pretty basic. At least they all have booklets and such!
When you're Blu ray player is locked to a region that doesn't support Criterion releases :(
Yeah, it is a pain :( Criterion does some region B UK releases now, but not nearly as much as their region A stuff. I bought a region free player last year and it’s been a great investment for me.
Yeah, seriously considering getting one just for the criterion releases, especially after watching your sweet collection man!
