Woah! This is a very good review of slime rancher Personally I love the game Also are you considering reviewing satisfactory ? Last note; I noticed you used blitz footage, I also wanted to use it in the past but I didnt cause he doesnt allow it (Its written in about page). Just letting you know incase he minds
Hey, thanks for letting me know about that. I'll avoid using his content for clips in the future. I'm pretty sure my video falls under fair use because, rather than being a straight reupload, it's a transformative work made from lots of different sources and my own elements, and it's for educational purposes. Still, out of respect for blitz I won't use his channel again. And yes - I'm considering covering Satisfactory! Although I wouldn't want to just repeat everything I said in my Factorio video.
As a game designer wondering what all he can do to add some tranquility to his dream FPS, this video brought a tiny tear to my eye. (Unfortunately it's not in development right now, but it will be later).
Great design analysis as usual! The topic of elegant design and multi functional elements comes up A LOT when reading about game design. This is a great example of that.
More importantly: the slimes are so damn cute
I discovered this channel recently, and it's great! Deserve more views. Patch Quest looks great too
Thanks Adahhh!
also there is a risk/reward element because of slime stress reactions: such as dervish slimes making Dust devils and mosaic slimes making firestorms.
Great analysis! I couldn't put my finger on exactly why I thought slime rancher was such a satisfying experience, but you hit the nail on the head.
Thanks!
@@LycheeGameLabs your welcome
He goes from ranching the first pink slimes to carrying around a Kokakabadobadoba thingy in the Primal area
Another great channel without many subs
I swear this guy could review a minesweeper clone and i'd still be interested in buying it
I agree with everything you said. Great design and very fun. The game really started feeling empty towards the end.

Slime rancher is my favorite game
Thank you for making a video on it :D

Loving your videos. ♥
Thanks Lucas!
Very nicely done video!
Thanks Upsilon!
Excellent vid
I really like this game
I never knew the game was this deep. I dropped it after a few minutes due to being too shallow. Now, I feel like I missed out.
I'm pretty sure Plorts are just Slime Eggs
Can you please do for one video for oxygen not included?
I haven't played that, I'm afraid
However there's no piggy-backing. I went back to this game after a year without playing, and I had no idea how to do anything.
Gaggle of slimes? I wished people were as cute as those but no.
sounds like Reactor
I don't know why, but this game gave me headache every 40 minutes
I've always felt that there was too much to digest at once. Quests? Making machines? There are teleporters now? Did I miss something!!!?
