My girlfriend happened upon this video and told me she found it very empowering so I asked for the link and watched it. I just wanted to say thank you for being so honest about what sex and sexuality are really supposed to look like. A lot of the things you talked about are things she has felt alone and insecure about and I am so glad she is finally seeing so many more people relate than she ever could’ve imagined. I found the video to be extremely well done and it helped me in many ways too. Everything you talked about was honest, relatable, and felt exactly as casual as the topic should be. The only thing I would love to see in a follow up video is how serious relationships and sex intertwine. In this day and age it is very common to see people have a sort of fear of missing out by being in a relationship, especially in college. It would’ve been nice to see the flip side to the casual relationships conversation, having it lead into a conversation about the pressure to be on dating apps and have the stereotypical college experience. It is okay to only be with one partner, just like it is okay to be with as many as you want. I think a lot of people who have grievances with the term “virgin” being a negative thing are kind of in a similar boat here. It can sometimes be stigmatized to NOT be expressing your sexuality enough, not just to be expressing it too much. If you happen to make a connection with somebody, it isn’t a bad thing to enter a relationship with them. You can still explore your sexuality with them; it isn’t something you have to explore with a certain number of people before you’re “ready” for a serious relationship. This is not a gripe I had with the video, more of a suggestion for a follow-up. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video, you have started a conversation about sex people of all sexualities feel comfortable inputting in, which is just how it should be. ❤️

Idk if you’re religious or not but as a Christian I’ve always been taught, from scripture, that a husband and wife should be equally yoked. There is definitely conflicting scripture with this, which is sad, but being equally yoked is something I’ve always strived for. There will be things that each of us will be better at than the other person. If one of mine happen to be cooking (which realistically it isn’t) then that’s okay, but gendered skills shouldn’t be expected of the person in the relationship of the respective gender solely because of the stereotypical skill sets those genders are supposed to have. Don’t worry about pleasing your husband because of things you’re “supposed to do”. If you’re in a relationship with someone who thinks otherwise then that’s very dated and probably not healthy.
