- This week has been the worst week since we started our van life journey. Will we be able to address this very serious issue? Watch as we do everything we can to make things better.

They are a worry aren't they! I'm glad that Pablo is finally on the mend ( when I was small & growing up learning to talk, I used to say "not well well" for not very well lol) I kmow this that I would be beside myself if anything were seriously wrong with our Archie, the companionship of mans best friend is truly a joy to behold. Archie goes everywhere with us, he especially likes travelling in our motorhome going to different sites & exploring!

We do enjoy you videos very much.... Our hearts sank when this one started... We also have a Cavapoochon and he loves van life with us, lots of the same character as little Pablo. So glad he is on the mend... They are strong little things! Keep up the good work all three of you!

What a relief Pablo is ok!! All through the video I was thinking the worse and felt very emotional 😢. Right at this moment we are just awaiting the call from the vets for our dog to pick him up. He is having a tumour removed from his mouth for the 3rd time but I think this may be his last time 😢. He is 14 years old.
We would do anything for our pets and makes it difficult to understand how anyone can be cruel to our most loyal undemanding friends? I'm totally in tune with your thinking and emotions.

@Stchristopherofatlantis He's just arrived back feeling a bit sad and sore I think but has wanted to eat and drink. Bolo (Be On Look Out) is a strong dog...a Bavarian Mountain Scent Hound...used to forest tracking deer etc. and hopefully will soon be on the mend like Pablo. Pats and licks from Bolo to Pablo 🐕 🐾🐾💞

What a terrible time you’ve just had with lovely Pablo , he certainly gave you and me a fright. A beautiful video story. @Stchristopherofatlantis both dogs were old, chocolate labs. I always call them my pups.. miss them both dearly cocoa was the younger Bella older . But since we are commercial fishermen, we decided no more pups .. fishing season up here gets way too busy. I'm doing great hope you both are too. ❤️ 💙

So pleased Pablo is feeling better dogs are so much more than a pet they are family I lost my west highland terrier Jak last September he was 17 it broke me when I had to say goodbye and I vowed not to have another dog as I could not go through that pain again but after I got over losing Jak I knew I had to have another dog in my life so now we have Bodie a border terrier who has made I life complete again ❤

Oh my, I was crying watching that. My dog has been ill too and had a big op. Extremely expensive and no insurance because I took him in at 10 years old. I'm so relieved to see Pablo is recovering. It breaks your heart when they're unwell. Big Woof

So I follow the channel, awaiting your new stories, the humour, Andy rolling his eyes, Claires infectious laugh, the tales of being cheapskates because chips and too expensive and the endless jams on the M1 between Thorpe Hesley and Meadowhall. To be honest reading the title of the vid I thought you had some trouble whilst on a camp... but I have to say after a couple of minutes I skipped to the end of this one before going back watching it all. As a dog lover I couldn't have watched it if the outcome was bad. Just hope he is all well and good and back out on the road soon. Cheers Kevin

You had me going then sad to watch but satisfying in the end. I love dogs myself but sadly many years ago I had and my wife went through something similar with our Labrador Dusty. Since then we decided not to have another dog. Love the channel and you three make a great team hope to see more of the three of you.

We have had a similar experience and the fear and sadness is too much to bare.
Thank goodness the ending was happy. I was worried for a minute that because we are behind I’d been sending you pictures of Ted watching Pabbers and not realising potential tragedy.

well, not often your vids leave me lost for words but this one.....I cant lie, I blubbed buckets and though it might sound strange but this video is absolutely but intensely upsetting, yet beautifully done videos I've seen. My opinion is, a dog isnt a dog. Its a family member in a fur coat and having had dogs in our family and gone through many traumas and heartbreaking losses, I felt every moment and emotion of the faces of both of you. Pablo is your baby, be he with four legs and fur and this video was a testament to that love and how brave you were sharing this with us. I normally joke about a bit and say funny sayings on my comments on your channel but not this one. Its been a profound experience watching this video as it was for you both living it. I'm so very happy Pabo fought the odds and won. I'm so glad he had bloody brilliant humans in you both who fought his battles. Its made me re-evaluate many things I personally take for granted. You are both very brilliant and my love to firstly Pablo and please give him a huge hug from me, but sending love to you both too. The karma you give freely will come back to you. Pablo is indeed our little man. He has a rare skin disease called Puppy Strangles and is taking steroids! He is hungry all the time at the moment and I can’t seem to fill him up 🐶 😂

Wow that was some heart breaking stuff, 😢😢 so happy for you that Pablo is on the mend. It’s awful when they are not well, my Westie is now 14, diabetic and blind, but he still comes to greet me at the door every day, tail wagging, god dogs are amazing aren’t they. Love to Pablo he knows how much he’s loved ♥️

You put us though it with this guys …. We have had dogs in our families before getting together and then had a dog together….. our dog Tara only lived three years and it was very hard when we lost her .
Let’s hope Pablo continues with good health and a long life with you two .

Our Bijon had cancer 5grand and 4yrs later he’s fine.
Golden Doodle had issues with his bowls another 2k later and he’s doing ok.
That’s just two incidents. Over the years there have been others.
Pets will cost a concienscious loving owner a significant cash layout.
Our dogs are not just pets but autism assistance dogs and thousands more have been spent not only on their purchase, health, but training, public liability insurance etc…..
Very very pleased to hear Pabs pulled through.
It’s a good cautionary tale for would be owners of the future …. Expect the good times, be prepared for the worst of times.

We do think that our vets seemed very interested in what our insurance limit was and feel that maybe this was considered in his treatment plan but that said he is getting better now.

Thank goodness he is ok. Sending love to you all. We have had weeks of our Dalmatian being ill. It’s down to a grass seed embedded in her parotid salivary gland. They think it entered via her mouth as she ran. It cost us £2500 for a CT and ultrasound scan to diagnose it and the operation is a further £3500. As if the worry of the dog isn’t enough the worry of the money doesn’t help. Her operation isn’t even until the 11/10. Hopefully after that, like Pablo, she can get back to van life. Xxx

That’s what they thought it was for Pablo at first. He didn’t have any scans but a biopsy and it came back with something called Puppy Strangles, a rare skin disease. He’s on Steroids.

I've been there a few times the last being a few.months ago with our Jazz,(big c) she's on the way to recovery thank god. Poor Pabbers. I am so glad he’s feeling better. I feared the worst there. I really hope that he doesn’t relapse.
I lost my dogs several years ago. Thankfully just old age (14) rather than illness. Their ashes and photos are in the lounge and I say good morning and good night to them every day and speak to them like they’re still here. I miss them so much. I have lost both parents but it’s the dogs I still cry about. I don’t think I’ll ever get over losing them. Take care of yourselves and lovely little Pabbers x

That was awful. We know what it’s like going through stress with your beloved dog . We discovered at 6 months of age our lovely dog has got a degenerative brain disorder called ‘ Cerebellar Cortical Degeneration’ , cost £3000 for all the tests but luckily our insurance paid all that bar about £80 excess but putting money aside it is heartbreaking what you ( humans ) and the dog has to go through. The average age is 2-4 for this condition and she’s now 21/2 . She’s not in pain ( at the moment) just wobbly as it effects her coordination and can not run normally faster than a trot and makes plans very difficult , but we love her so we adapt 😢So we know you’re pain . When she’s gone don’t think we can do it again after only 3 years ago losing another dog . Hats off to the breeder they weren’t interested ☹️🤬😤. Anyway happy vlog next week please 😄👍. Hi there. Only had results on Friday and he has Puppy Strangles. A rare skin disease…. Eek. Definitely getting better with his tablets as he barked at the bin man last week 😂

I have no doubt your video is marvellous but I’m afraid to watch 😢, I’ve loved all of your videos but in the last 18 months I have lost my wife and had to have 2 little dogs put to sleep, now there is just me and my little Shih Tzu Ted and it’s because of him I have had a reason to live since my wife passed away, the thought of losing him doesn’t bear thinking about,
I want to watch your video so much but I know it will cut me up if I see Pablo suffering 😢,

We was worried there , really feared the worse. So pleased hes getting better, As for vet fees well no lie we had a bill for £8700 for our labradors ruptured cruciate of wnich we had to pay 35% and £150 excess. They need to wear a mask so you know they are robbing ya 😂😂
