I loved all three but Robin grabbed you by the heart and wouldn't let go. His voice and vibrato will never be matched again. As someone else said, he must have tripped on a cloud and fell out of heaven!
When asked what song he was most happy with and proud of Barry said…. “Bodyguard”. It has the best arrangements and harmonies of all their songs. I agree. It is a spectacular song.
Love your reactions. More Bee Gees please. When he’s gone, Could not love you more, This is where i came in. Barry’s In The Now, You win again and For whom the Bell Tolls.
Thank you mate !!!! Asking about this repeatedly was worth it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Love this tune. It's one of the most underrated ones in Bee Gees history.
I agree 100%. Robin's voice was so beautiful here. As Maurice (fyi pronounced Morris) said "Robin has the voice that pulls on your heart." A fact: this is a "toned down " redone video. The original was labelled too racy for the music video channels!
I recommended this one. Try to listen to their whole album One (1989) it's amazing. Especially listen to Wish You Were Here from that album (about Andy).
This track is from their 1989 album One. You know, many people criticize Bee Gees (if you can believe that) for changing their sound from Disco to other Genres - and this song is one of many of that post-disco era that was so criticized back then. They had so many hits before and after. Now I want to give you another recommendation since you liked this one so much. Please listen to the song Wish You Were Here (from the same album One - 1989) - it's a song about their brother Andy - trust me you will love it.
I've been enjoying your reactions to the BeeGees tonight. This one is so great and one of my favorites. You would also like "Reaching Out" and "Love You Inside Out" from the Spirits Have Flown album (1979), the same album as Too Much Heaven. The Bee Gees also put out good songs from the 80s and 90s and 2001 " Some of my favorites are "Alone" , " Rings Around the Moon" and "One" as well as "This is Just Where I Came In". But you also must watch all the "Midnight Special" Bee Gees performances! You will so enjoy these live performances. They are truly magical. It has been 2 yrs so hoping you are still vibing to the BeeGees. Just found your reactions tonight and they were terrific!❤ So much music to discover. More 70s hits (& faves of mine) to react to: Run to Me, Idea, Nights on Broadway, Fanny Be Tender with my Love, Emotion wiritten for Samantha Sanger, Heartbreaker written for Dionne Warwick, What Kind of Fool written for Barbra Streisand, & so many more...
Thanks bro. I'm a big BeeGee fan but I never heard this one. And it's definitely a great song. I think Robin did a great job on the lead. Man you been half -stepping with the BeeGee reactions.:)
Never heard this one before. Just for laughs.......search for ....'young Bee Gees'. There's a video of them when Barry was around 14, and the other 2 were like 10.....singing a medley on an old black & white Australian TV show.
You need to check out Barry & Michael Jackson’s All In Your Name…..the vocals (& lyrics) will blow you away🎼!!! Also PLEASE PLEASE react to Bee Gees Alone hit from 1997!
You need to improve your music pedigree then. Try their disco area - it's amazing. And I bet you know more than 1-2 songs since they-ve been in so many soundtracks and such.

Patty-I agree. Sensuality, unreleased song, is another one of his I could listen to all day.

Why was this song criticized? This is a fantastic R&B song
@@triad5766 the band was criticised when they moved on from disco, for some reason. It's on their history, it explains it better then I could.
