Wawwwww, even am far from 20,000km from U, but i fill as near around you, thank you the wooden art you made it some step up ahead.
Wow! Just started turning a few weeks ago. Now I can't live without something I didn't know existed just a month ago. Hubby is going to kill me.
Hi Suzette....I hope your hubby is more understanding :-) I'm sure he will be once he sees the amazing pieces you will be producing
Great vid 🥺 really helped me great tools used and very helpful
I've been a wood turner for 30 years, Never have I seen one of these, going to dust off the credit card for this one.
Omg such mind blowing technique!!
Nick,
Brilliant!
Many thanks for demonstrating the full potential of these tools.
Alan.
Brilliant as usual Nick, a true artist and a lovely design

Really Impressive!
Nice work, after getting my first lathe in january i have been slowly getting more and more tools...now i want some of these haha. My wifes going to kill me.
Great job Nick..good to have a refresher on these tools
Fantástico, gracias por compartir.
just bought the 330S looking forward to having a go.😁
Very good instruction, very good.
These are great tools!, my experience is that, RPM, wood density, and the angle at which the tool is presented to the spinning piece will vary the design,
Take notes! It's hard to duplicate the design on further work.
Once you master the technique, the testing and trial and error is worth the effort.
a wonderful artwork
Highly effective, thanks
Великолепно !!! подписываюсь на Ваш канал.
The best woods to use for any decorative / detail work is any that have a close grain structure....The slower growing the tree the closer grained the wood..........
Excellent video with the best instruction I have seen on the presentation of the tool to the wood surface. BTW, how was the color applied?
Dank u. Prachtig
(Thank you, beautiful)
That’s really nice. How do you add the color without getting it into the recesses cut by the tool so you still maintain the bare wood contrast. Are you using paint or some type of marker? Great job.
Nice demonstrations, very nice video! Keep them coming. Does one need to put a drop of oil on the pivot of these tools from time to time?
Fantastic work. How is the paint applied?
Colored felt pens.
So beautiful! I love it! But how to colour the items?
just gently touch the spinning item with some dye/ink
How did you add the color to the patterns, what did you use?
^
0:11 there are a lot of patterns on those bowls that are not explained in the video!! The swirly 'S' the bishop's crook, for example, it would be nice to know how they were done.
Hi, great video. I’m just wondering how you colour your work so that you don’t colour in the pattern as well. Any guidance appreciated.
Класс!!! Хочу так.
which colours do you use for this or do you have a video about it?
good morning robert sorby. please tell me where to buy these tools from the video to make wood texture. an international website?
👍👍
I wanted to see what the 11 would do :( :D
which wood is best to use for texturing the wood thanks
I would like to buy these tools. My lathe will only go down to 600 RPM. Would it be possible to use the micro tool at this speed?
Byron Bedenbaugh I do and it seems to work out alright. Hopefully, as it was a year since your post, you have successfully created some textures.

The web site is gone, where can we go to purchase these tools now?
Good morning Jim...Please look on the stockists page on the Robert Sorby website for your nearest stockist or appropriate mail order supplier of Robert Sorby products
6:44 that cutter is going to tear up your hand no matter what direction the cutter turning. Just give it a try...
Good morning AffordBindEquipment...I would like to help you with the use of the Spiralling and texturing tool. Please can you explain what you mean by your statement...Thank you
these bowls look better without the décor not to mention easier to clean.
Not to mention you're an idiot. It's a decoration tutorial. Idiot.
you are wearing a tshirt with your own name on it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 did you forget 😂😂😂😂😂
How are you adding color to the pieces you demonstrated?
2 yrs and still no reply? I want to know about the color too.
Jos P possibly you color the wood first then you use the cutters
Order will be texture, colour, liming wax, buff off to remove excess wax from surface but not remove from texture. Not sure what colour used here but anything that wont react with wax is fine - I’d use a spirit stain.
