My top tip for cleaning stinky dirty bins or litter boxes. Clean out debris, add oxi action powder then fill with water and it eats away the gunk! Minimise the scrubbing and its leaves it smelling really good.
I wanted to say that I was thinking how gorgeous your hair looked just before you mentioned it. That style really suits you. It frames your beautiful face so well. I had thought you’d been to the hair dressers.
For the runner in your kitchen, get a ruggable! Seriously, it is a game changer. Once you get the system, you can change the cover anytime, you can even get a fall and Christmas cover for not very much. You could even get one as long as you whole island if you think that will look good. With 3 dogs and a bunch of kids, it is a must have.

You are such a good steward of what you have! Your hair is so adorable! That lamp is adorable and really looks nice in that room. It is a constant battle with dust in the SW. The comment about getting Ruggables for the area rugs would be such a great solution, esp since you are so good to change things up seasonally.

I’m watching on my tv, commenting here. lol! As you were styling your floating shelves in your theater room, I just had to say…I’ve soooooo loved your shelves you put in your bedroom, and you gave me the boost I needed to finally make some of my own…and I’m so in love!!! My bedroom feels more like “me” now, and I never would’ve thought I could’ve done something like that on my own without seeing yours. Homemade ones truly do add so much more character. Love yours for sure, but now I love mine too! lol! Thank you!
I cleaned my vacuum for the first time this year and I was so amazed by how well it worked after everything dried. 😂

You ask what we think about your new lamp? But it's not really a question for us. You LIVE in your home and it matches the other lamps you have, in the Master Bath over your dining table and a lot of other places. It is matching YOUR home. It probably would not match our home, but it matches your's. And that is the question. I think it adds to your loft area and makes it cozy. I wish I had your energy to decorate and redecorate. It's a joy to follow you on your journey. 🤩
One friend of my friends used to use a box with cards, a card per task, a thumb card per month + week, so she moved a task card to next month or the month after, depending on how often she wanted the task to be in the calendar.

I’m currently going through some health problems myself and am still in the process of getting diagnosed. Loved this video. When I started watching I said to myself, her hair looks so cute today and then you explained. I think the coffee table could go a little darker but I still think you should get a glass top to protect it from scratches. Everything looks so bright and clean. I absolutely love this Amanda. My daughter also has Hashimoto syndrome and it has caused her autoimmune problems like Alopecia plus weight gain. She had decided to be a vegetarian way before her diagnosis. I believe she was a Jr in high school when we finally got the diagnosis but since jr high she had been a vegetarian. I supplemented as much as I could so she could have as much protein and iron to replace meat. Then in college she had a full ride to play softball and she would call me after a practice and say mom I’m craving a steak or just any meat. I knew her body was lacking the iron and minerals she needed to do the training her body was taking on. We traveled to her games as much as we could she was already 2.5 hours from home. We had visited her before her bday because she would be in Georgia on her actual bday playing so she ordered a steak her craving was crazy she ate every bite of that steak and paid for it all night long. It’s hard when we have something going on in our bodies that constantly fight within itself. She can eat a small steak now when she absolutely can’t get rid of the cravings she is 27 now and is a surgical assistant in labor and delivery so she still had a lot of work on her body and she knows when she needs that extra iron and protein when vitamins and minerals isn’t enough. I have stage 4 breast cancer and chemo has given me some thyroid problems now and lupus plus all the steroids make me feel like a blow fish but I’ve kinda done exactly like you’ve said just trying different eating lifestyles. I’m like my daughter I could eat veggies all day but unfortunately cancer has interfered with my small intestines and bowel syndromes so I can no longer eat raw veggies without becoming absolutely miserable, I was such a salad lover also. I’m learning what vegetables I can tolerate. It’s definitely a trial and error process but you’ve always looked fabulous regardless but I know much better it feels on the inside when you can work through those issues and find a solution that works. You’re incredible and thank you for sharing not only your amazing cleaning videos but also how you’ve remained true to who you are. A lot of social media influencers change once they get a large following but you’ve always made it feel like we are simply chatting with a friend while getting stuff done. Thank you for that ❤
I was just thinking how cute I thought your hair looked right before you mentioned how you were doing it a little different. So, my opinion is it looks great!
I have to say you have given me so much motivation to start the deep clean process that I decided to start in one room of my house, thoroughly declutter it, clean it, and organize it, no matter how long it takes, and then move on to the next room. I’ve already started and, although it’s been a struggle at times, I’m feeling so much better about things. I’m also excited that I was able to get my order in on your Bloom Towel designs. Can’t wait to get them!
Once a month on cleaning my vacuum. I NEVER used to, but about 18 months ago I added it to my Reminders app in my phone (1st Sunday of every month).

No matter your weight you are just so beautiful! (That hair style looks so pretty on you!) The *best* side effect of this season of being on the keto diet is that you must be feeling better energy wise!!! I too have Hashimotos… I have checked into the “blood type diet” and everything I read not only from that, but also from the results you’ve seen with the keto veggie focused diet, is that veggies should be my primary source of nutrition. It’s so hard for me to commit to that because I love flavor. Can you possibly do a video soon of how you are preparing your veggies?

I have maybe 1/3 of my house spring cleaned when I lost all motivation. Today put a little spark back into me to get moving on it again 😂 hair looks great. I think weather motivates me, I'm in Michigan so still gets chilly. Tip, use a hose once a month or so on the garbage can and it will keep from getting bad.

Hey,sorry if this has already been mentioned but I find it easier to clean my rugs on my carpeted floors, saves worrying about the hard floors & any damage xx
For the theater room, I've seen people build what is essentially a thin console table that goes the whole distance behind their couch and it's a great hidden spot for setting cups down, etc.
And I love the crimping on your hair.
Loved your facial expressions as you were in your house talking about needing to clean your garbage can!

When I change all of my ac/heat filters at the beginning of each month I also clean all my vacuum filters small, big etc. so I start each month out clean with everything. That is also when I wash my dryer filter and do a washer cleaning cycle too. Btw I love watching your channels ❤
To refill big back cushions I also use super firm pillows. For my large couch I have 2 king pillows in each back cushion. So a total of 4.

Love all your videos but this one was very inspiring for me to do that deeper clean more often-especially the vacuum and blinds and things like that. I always love your videos and get inspired to get to work. My husband will even watch the videos with me-honestly not for inspiration to clean (he works way too many hours and I have it down before he gets home) but instead because he says your voice and the videos are relaxing. By the way-your hair with the crimped was gorgeous. It’s always pretty but love that style.

Your hair looks so cute!! Thanks for sharing your struggles, I recently was diagnosed with this thyroid issue too. Most of my issues were blamed on menopause, what a relief to get my thyroid leveled, every single symptom I was experiencing went away. I never miss my thyroid pill, or all of them reappear.
Of course my weight is the only issue that really didn’t change, it’s such a struggle. Really has been my whole life off and on, I believe balancing our hormones is what works, but to find a doctor willing to take the time to do this is really hard.
Anyway, I love your videos and the Vlogs. Your channel is my first U tube video I came across and now I’m hooked. Thanks for taking time to maje and share your videos with us. 💗💐
I deep clean my vacuum about 3 times a year, but my vacuum came with 2 filters, so I take it out every 3 months clean and air dry it and pop in the extra filter that came with my vaccum, your video is a good reminder it’s time for my filter to be cleaned again 😊
Hey Amanda, I was diagnosed with Hashaimato in February. I was put on thyroid medication. I also have struggled with my weight for years. I have four sisters ine brother and a niece that have thyroid problems too. Looking forward to the blog, hopefully I can get some help with my struggles. Thanks for sharing
Your hair looks great! And thanks for sharing your health journey with us. I heard Dr. Don Colbert one day talking about a test that's not normally done, PTH test (parathyroid hormone). I had never heard of this gland. I've had bone density tests done every other years. Each time it was a little lower, but not bad. Also my bloodwork was showing to much calcium. The dr's office told me twice to stop taking any calcium supplements, which I wasn't doing. The next bloodwork, I asked for this test to be included (after hearing Dr. Colbert). Found out the calcium was being pulled from my bones, decreasing the density, and getting in my blood stream. I was referred to a specialist and had to have surgery. It's behind the thyroid. It's about 4 or 5 of those little glands. And I only needed 1 removed. Everything is normal now. 🙌I just felt to share this with your viewers. I pray my experience will help someone else. Try it for a while, then if you don't like the lampshade, get a different one! My husband takes apart our vacuum cleaner, but not as much as you did. I noticed right away in the video that your hair was wavy and I loved it! It is so cute that way. That’s not to say it doesn’t look good all the rest of the time. I SO enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work! I was laughing when you were washing the trash can. It reminded me of the times I have done it and it’s almost impossible not to spray yourself. We have family movie nights at least once a month. We all pick a snack and share so I definitely feel you on the sofa getting snacks too. Steam cleaning is so satisfying! I’ve done a lot of research and the Liquid laundry soap with OxiClean has been the best and smells amazing! It’s safe for all machines and even steam cleaners just be sure to do a rinse over and you’re all good! I’ve even added the downy rinse stuff to my soap when we have company coming over and use the all scented free so it’s not mixing different scents. It smells so good and strong and lasts for days! You can even dilute it in a spray bottle and use it for the sofa and curtains like a Febreze! It’s cheaper, lasts longer and makes the whole house smell like clean laundry!

I have struggled with Hashimotos as well and have found my biggest challenge is sleep and weight gain. Since moving to Arizona I have lost 23 pounds and my arthritis is much more manageable-altitude and weather?
I am also much more active taking care of my 96 year old - sharp as a tack- father👍🏻
This is one great motivational video Amanda! So many things that people never think about. The air vents, not using cleaners on TVs, or cleaning their Vaccum cleaner. I LOVE your hair like that, it looks so full and pretty. I love your new lamp with the lamp shade it came with. I have often wondered about cleaning rugs on top of hardwood flooring. I can’t imagine the odor coming from your outdoor garbage can and I would have thrown up when the water sprayed my face even if it wasn’t dirty water. Wow, great job on cleaning the garbage can!! I still love your coffee table and I think the change of decor looks great. 😊❤😊

Hi Amanda, thanks for another great video. Tip that we use for our large bins is put a large leaf bag in the bin then all your re organic garbage gets tossed into the bag and it helps with keeping the bin cleaner. You still need to clean it periodically but definitely does not get as nasty as without the paper liner.

I'm a new subscriber, making my way through your videos. I remember when I gained soooo much weight, lost ambition and energy. I had to beg my doctor to test my thyroid levels. I had hypothyroidism, so low that my specialist asked how I was functioning. 😮 Funny looking back because the signs were all there, but my Dr kept thinking it was my diet and not watching what I ate. I worked out for hours a day, lost 5 pounds and gained 10 for it. Crazy, right?! Glad you were diagnosed and on track now :)

You did so well, I've got quite a lot of work to do this summer, as we bought a new property last Christmas. We've already done quite a bit, but want to get all the back garden re done, and still some decorating internally to carry out. I put a piece of cardboard in the bottom of my big can and i also sprinkle the bottom with baking soda it helps with the odor between washings

You’re one of my absolute favorite people on UA-cam, and I’m SO happy for your success on your health journey. ❤ I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my 54 years, so I know how hard it can be, both physically and emotionally. For the past several months I’ve had problems with inflammation, and after some tests I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy, so I’ve been trying to overhaul my food plan. I’ve read a bunch about keto helping with inflammation, so I believe I’ll give it a try. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼 Oh, by the way, LOVE the hairstyle!

Our trash company cleans the trash cans for free once a year. After that you’re on your own. But a lot of people don’t know that.
I powered washed my back patio, sail cloth and patio furniture and it was so satisfying. My oldest grandson use to go around and offer to clean people trash cans for like $20 for all. That was years and years ago but good way to make some money.

Oh my goodness, I told my husband last week we have to clean our trash can. It is so nasty and smells soooop bad. So I think my husband’s going to get that thing you put on the end of your pressure washer. The soap thing. When he seen your husband cleaning the patio he has wanted one.
I do like the round basket on your table. It does look better. A little darker will look better on the table.
I decided to make a project list for each area I want to get things done and worked on. This just will help me to not forget. I work a full time job that is super hard on my back. It hurts a lot so hard to get length task done. Not sure what I need to do.

Hi Amanda and the family. So proud of your health progress - it is a constant struggle, I understand. You go girl, take care of yourself first before anything else. To change the subject, I have always wondered why you have kept carpeting everywhere thruout your home, especially with the many housepets you have. Have you ever thought of making the move to only hardwood in your house? It would be so much easier for you. Ok carpets in the bedrooms for the coziness but boy would I go for hardwood only the rest of the house…especially for the ease of housekeeping. Just a thought. Oh, I LOVE YOUR HAIR THIS WAY - lookin' good 😊 It's my hubby's job to clean the vaccum and he does it every 6 months (we live in an appartment and we are only 2 people, no pets and no carpets). Why have you created reminders on your phone for housework - so helpful. When you’re done you just check it off and if you have created a repeat, like you should, it will pop up when it is due. Try it - I have absolutely every task on repeats and if something new pops up, I add it in my reminders right away to stay on top of things. Spring cleaning only thing left is cleaning my inside cupboards in the kitchen, that's it YEAH! Ready to enjoy summer and camping
