Seems like a genuine and nice guy. He must thank his lucky stars he had a dad who made a living selling Porsches. Mine was a dentist. I think I got a free teeth clean for my graduation! 😁
My first 911 was a 1977 "S" model Targa with black trim, black interior, and painted in Chiffon White. Just like the M491 you showed. Love that color which makes the 911 look very elegant IMHO. Spectacular inventory!
I am from the 2min max attention span gerneration 😃 but this Upload / Content was so amazing, I didn't noticed i watched the whole 42:44 (and burned my pizza in the oven) great work Nick & Brett !
Man I just love the way it sounds when you close the doors on these pre water 911s . My first car was a 1971 Karmann Ghia and it reminds me of the way it sounded!
Great video! I have followed sloans car adverts for a long time. For decades they were very “low key”. They have bought and sold some of the best and rarest Porsches.
Thanks Nick! Before the Haters Hate-I love and Live these Pcars and mean no Disrespect. BUT Great Patina, Turbo with Original Paint, Steering Wheel, and Radio for $200K. I've been restoring the same 2 air cooled 911s/2 BMW Mcars for years and you better have a 6 inch binder with photos showing me everything that was done to maintain it. Additionally if ANYONE thinks a low mileage Pcar won't require serious commitment from the owner (Even More if you can't turn a wrench) is dreaming. Think about any original 30-50 year old car-From the foam in the seats to the engine internals and every rubber seal in between. You or your mechanic will become intimate with your adopted aging Pcar. This forced me to be ALL in. Luckily my friends in the Pcar trade mentored me over the last 20 years which led to investing in Snap-On tools.
OUTSTANDING !!!! Well done Nick & Sloan Motorcars. Flashback to when people bought the cars to keep & appreciate the Driving experience vs today where it seems the Status is more important & flipping in like a penny stock is most important🙄🙃
Great video Nick! If only I had the forethought back when I looked at some ‘80’s 911’s, when I could have actually afforded one, but decided instead to buy a minivan for my then growing family…my kids would have loved riding in the back “seats” of a 911 - well two of my three kids would have.
What a beautiful video. Thanks for making. I had a 964 C2. The car used to leak a lot and was very difficult keeping her on the road. Was my daily driver and I think that it is the best looking car in the world. Respect for all of 911s out there and their owners
I feel you !!! We loved our Carrera, did not drive it much but enjoyed the experience!!! My wife and I talked and decided that we should let the previous owner have it back!!!! When I told him I thought he would lose his mind!!!!😀😀😀😀 check out the link to see why it was a hard decision!!! 🚘🚘🚘🚘😀😀🍺🍺 enjoy!
Great one, thanks a bunch for this! In recent years I kinda noticed that my dad s 964 has become increasingly special whilst he d just call it a good sports car that somehow never got close to his appreciation and admiration for the Austin Healey Mk2 one of his friends had and still has - yet he chose to rather quickly sell his 993 to a friend keeping the older 964 - thing I didn t quite understand at the time (to me the 993 was its replacement and the nicer car). Nowadays, I totally get it and the fact that my dad has a 1st owner car with a meticulously kept history (incl literally every service, oil or tyre change) means something to me. My dad doesn t even care coz "this is how it should be" kinda logic that I couldn t help but adopt but at the last two services, one of the mechanics smiled and went like "you know, 1 owner 964s like yours are basically unicorns". I tried to urge my dad to find out how many there are and even more so in our spec but I simply didn t and whilst still wanting to know, I think the fact it doesn t really matter whilst being curious tells me, I share his passion.
Great great video 👍👍993 coke shape Porsche best looking. So sad some of these owners and bretts dad are gone no matter how well I keep a car there is one day u will sell it back😪
Great video, Nick. Watched it from start to finish and learned a lot. Many thanks to Brett for being so thorough as well. Hope to visit the facility one day.
In law school my buddy had a long nose chiffon yellow 911S Targa with the soft back window. I loved riding in that thing and would chase him around town in my A1 GTi.
Well… As a European/German who grew up with these cars on the street, I can honestly say, this gentleman knows his stuff 👍 ( I’m not a expert ) Anyway … As far as styling goes … when the wide body models came out, (in the 80ˋs ) this was it for me… To much … LOOK AT ME … and then the ridiculous horse power … no … I like the cars from the sixty and seventy’s best ! Greetings from Germany everybody 👋
Great video Sir Nick! I'm pretty sure you are ready to shell out 750k as long as the vehicle has a fully functioning electric aerial! Must be the pilot in you Sir Nick!
Love the air-cooled era Porsche. I personally was hoping to see that 964 speedster in marine blue? We have a few air-cooled Porsche,,, one being a 94' 911 964 blk/blk speedster with 9,028 miles. Just an amazing rare car. Great video! Enjoyed thoroughly 👌.
I thought the same thing myself. My brother has owned two of them, both in 912 SWT’s. And both black. And I’ve seen quite a few rear seat deletes, but I’ve never seen one in camel or beige whatever they call it. That’s uber rare indeed!
Love love love the aircooled content! What an awesome tour, some amazing cars there, what a nice dealership and seems like a really nice guy! Nick, did you go to luftgekühlt last week? I missed it this year, was awesome in Indianapois last year, I was super lucky to have my 993 in the show! What a dream come true!! Keep up the great videos Nick! Cheers!
I was waiting for the 914. I had a ‘73 2.0 of identical color, my favorite car I’ve owned (of 11, so far). I was wondering if that was a real /6, or if it had retrofitted brakes and wheels.
Incredible cars and such entertaining and interesting stories! I would have watched you present the entire store. Thank you and more please! Purple on purple with red calipers - that's reckless. I somehow like it though - makes me think😄
25:40 ethanol is awful. I remember when they first started adding it and I noticed it eating the lines in my gas powered lawn mower. I have a CLK Black Series that is getting up in years and I wonder how to really protect it... I start it regularly but it has ethanol in it..
Nick, would really love and be thankful for you opinion on the Carrera T. Also, when will you buy the next 911? The 992.2 is around the corner, are you waiting for it? Another 4S? Green? With "all race-tex* delete option", I guess.
Seems like a genuine and nice guy. He must thank his lucky stars he had a dad who made a living selling Porsches. Mine was a dentist. I think I got a free teeth clean for my graduation! 😁
Lucky. A root canal would’ve been a sweeter deal.
Huge thanks to Brett for allowing Nick to join him to discuss his fantastic collection of cars and knowledge about them.
My first 911 was a 1977 "S" model Targa with black trim, black interior, and painted in Chiffon White. Just like the M491 you showed. Love that color which makes the 911 look very elegant IMHO. Spectacular inventory!
This was an amazing episode. I absolutely love seeing all those cars.
Wow a 42 minute video from Nick, what did we do to receive such a gift?
I am from the 2min max attention span gerneration 😃
but this Upload / Content was so amazing, I didn't noticed i watched the whole 42:44 (and burned my pizza in the oven)
great work Nick & Brett !
Man I just love the way it sounds when you close the doors on these pre water 911s . My first car was a 1971 Karmann Ghia and it reminds me of the way it sounded!
Cool showing all the air cool cars from various generations. Thanks Nick! It's a crime most of those cars will never be driven.. ever again.
Been following Sloan's for a long time, they always find unique models/specs
They also had an incredible E46 M3 wagon 👌
Porsche as a graduation gift? How awesome is that ! Great car.
Porsche 911 2.4 S 190 HP are the most desirable air cooled Porsches I had one in 1986 amazing car !
As someone who is looking to get into an air cooled car, Brett has been great to me. 10/10
This intro is how I want to enter heaven when I die! Thank you for the video Nick! ♥️
Thank you Nick. What an informative video for someone like me looking to dip into the air cooled 911 world for the first time since the early 80s.
Amazing. Great video. What a dream to spend your days buying, servicing and selling these great old Porsche's.
Great video! I have followed sloans car adverts for a long time. For decades they were very “low key”. They have bought and sold some of the best and rarest Porsches.
Great job Nick! Brett really knows his cars and what makes them all special and unique.
One of the best Porsche originated presentations…many thanks…now I know where to go for an extra special air cooled example.
Must see video for any 911 enthusiast

Absolutely fantastic video Nick, really enjoyed it! Brett has some amazing knowledge too, what a great guy!
Fabulous film, very interesting and some absolutely stunning 911's there.
Graduate Level Lecture on Porsche........Fantastic.

Such a wonderful Sunday morning to listen or watch this episode for a Porsche lover and 911 owner who dreams about next air cooled 911.

Nice to meet Nick's neighbors
Wow, amazing place. I would be like a kid in a candy store in that place - the unmentioned water cooled cars are equally as cool... GT2!
Great video Nick, Bret gets some incredible Porsche cars that I always seem to miss out every time i call him 😂 i need to visit his shop one day soon
Great video Nick! Brett seems like a real nice guy… been following his father since he’s been online, oh, maybe 20 years now?! Great work!
Loved this, Brett and his setup seem awesome 👌
This is great, I’m a big fan of Sloan
Great vid Nick , love the early 911 talk 👍
Thanks, Nick. I would have liked to have had a closer look at the Speedster. (Give me some time to come up with a fitting insult....)
Finally Nick, you’ve *actually* done some work and not just shown some dogs on top of a helicopter……in sunglasses.
Love my 1987 911 3.2, but I'm going to sell it and let someone else enjoy it. It's been a very fun 16 years!
Shame on You!

Great video tour of all those lovely 911 turbo's, look forward to hearing some of them running and being driven. Thanks for the video
lovely vid. I have a guards red 1989 Carrera 3.2, never going to sell it. It's so raw, mechanical and fun to drive at any speed.
Just Wow. Thanks for sharing such survivor cars with us. Great to see. Thanks guys.
Just awesome, great video Nick! Rock on brother...
Love his 1969 T. So beautiful.
The red GTI is also very cool!
I think the purple 911 has the best design - so bad ass…
Great review…..we want more of this stuff Nick!
Lovely video Nick, pleased handshakes are back 👌

loved this guy in "Fight Club"!
Definitely the most interesting video you’ve done riveting all the information and the prices and stuff that was very very fun thank you
Really enjoyed this one Nick.
Great video. Such incredible cars. WOW
In law school my buddy had a long nose chiffon yellow 911S Targa with the soft back window. I loved riding in that thing and would chase him around town in my A1 GTi.
Such an awesome video Nick!!
964 and 993 were the best Porsches ever made and the very last ones that really, really were the Real Thing.
Well…
As a European/German who grew up with these cars on the street, I can honestly say, this gentleman knows his stuff 👍
( I’m not a expert )
Anyway …
As far as styling goes … when the wide body models came out, (in the 80ˋs ) this was it for me…

1:45 I thought that said S.L.-U.T. as in Salt Lake Utah on the back. Turns out if you look at it and squint it does in fact say "911T"
Great video! Thanks to both of you!
Great tour…well done !!!
That mk1 Golf 😍
Thanks Bret,,beauty's
interesting the mk1 Golf takes pride of place 😎
Cool video. As always. Thank you so much.
you could try some Ammo Mud to the dried trim areas eg at 30:23
Funny there was no mention of that rear-seat-delete on the '68 912. Very rare-er!
I thought the same thing myself. My brother has owned two of them, both in 912 SWT’s. And both black. And I’ve seen quite a few rear seat deletes, but I’ve never seen one in camel or beige whatever they call it. That’s uber rare indeed!
Great video, very informative. thanks for sharing
This was excellent
Very cool video!
HOW! I would really appreciate if you show me how to go about it. Please can you list the platforms ?
Great video, very informative!
Beautiful cars! Do a video on the new 992 Carrera T Nick! It comes with a manual!
You need to drive them for us and make some more amazing videos.
Cheers!
Nickś Back to the Future!
Great job Nick. But I was waiting for a review of the VW Rabbit!
I was waiting for the 914. I had a ‘73 2.0 of identical color, my favorite car I’ve owned (of 11, so far). I was wondering if that was a real /6, or if it had retrofitted brakes and wheels.

Porsche 911… it’s the best
Mk1 & 914 👌🏽😎
Chopper pilot your symphony great as usual!
Great video now I really want to know what my 1994 911 Carrera 4 Wide Body that I have had for 23 years is worth.
I saw a chiffon one for sale 10 yrs ago it was nice
Fantastic!
Awesome vid
Excellent 👏👏👏
25:40 ethanol is awful. I remember when they first started adding it and I noticed it eating the lines in my gas powered lawn mower. I have a CLK Black Series that is getting up in years and I wonder how to really protect it... I start it regularly but it has ethanol in it..
Holy smokes! What is the details on that clean rabbit?!
Wait for future video
@@NickMurray - Please do one on the 914!
was hoping to see a 911SC 🥺
Which is the best year model etc to choose from ? I am looking for an old muscle looking like
28:24 ... "Wowww..." HAHAHAHAAHAH! So fricken classic...
Nick, would really love and be thankful for you opinion on the Carrera T.
Also, when will you buy the next 911? The 992.2 is around the corner, are you waiting for it? Another 4S? Green? With "all race-tex* delete option", I guess.
Dam Nick that MK1 Golf isn't on their website lol.
His personal car
Interested in making a video on my 1972? One of a kind build
Where’s the video on the new carrera T
Did that sill trim on the red turbo really shrink an inch ??
