Has anyone tried the “Close Range Technique” George is speaking of? If so, how did you like it? What were the results? ua-cam.com/video/CLSJDia_X3g/v-deo.htmlsi=Jd-fdLgPqnghaFh6 To see more of George has to offer, please visit www.extramiddle.com/
I tried it - everything changed from then on. I spent 40 mins missing & then got 85-90% in the center circle after 15 mins of "close bailing". 10-15 yds & 10-15 shots = cured. I start off with it every time I go to the range. One thing: If you don't think its going to work - it wont. Hold on to your ego & your anxiety & you will see zero progress. The great challenge of ALL of this: You must release all your "concerns" & "worries" about hitting the X... to hit the X. Its like Jedi school, & Griv & Joel are Yodas.
perfect tip .... use the natural movement you can control to your advantage and don't shoot when you are past the X. Not so simple in practice so it is a mindset coordinating the execution. Good stuff
Absolutely, it’s just so important to understand and the ingrain into the shooting process. George is a genius & you be a fool not to listen to the advice he provides, in my humble opinion.whether it’s a hundred yards or 3 the process is the same .👍💯😎 Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 God Bless you and your family 🙏😇❤️🇺🇸🎯🏹
That's awesome advise from one of the best coaches in the world. The problem is - how to come to the form when the release just shoots without attention from the shooter?
I think it pertains more to a hinge release. I just tried it and it absolutely worked. I just focused on keeping the pin in the middle the whole time and my release just went off.
George teaches don’t think about release Joel teaches don’t think about aiming and only think about the release. 2 complete opposites both have all the accolades.

Will this help a recurve gap shooter?
You would have to ask George himself. My assumption is yes.
UA-cam recommends me Joel Turner and Shot IQ next :D
I hope he’s better in person cause his book sucks
