I bought the fz fi v2 (black) instead of gixxer in june. And this video helped me a lot. I couldn't have been more correct with my decision. While the gixxer is seriously a good competitor but fz is still a step ahead when it comes to engine refinement, handling, braking, throttle response (just as mentioned in this video). It has better mileage as well, in short a much better option for cruising. Thanks a lot powerdrift for making me reach this decision. :)
difference is not like as you compare bajaj and honda engines. gixxer is quite a refined machine as well. probably very slightly less than fz v2. Further, I love the firing sound of gixxer exhaust.

Both bikes are good but i chose FZ-S 2.0 because of its design and Fuel Injection I don't need top speed because i rarely go above 50kmph and the quality of FZ just made me go for it

I m writing this review for gixxer after riding it for almost 1.5 years. Suzuki has a much room for improvement, pillion seat is a hell, after just 15 minutes your companion will start complaining about the bad design, maintainance cost is much higher than honda, you need to go frequently. Recurrence of the technical issues is a big problem with gixxer. i ride both v1 and v2 of fz's but i loved lot on fzv1 bcoz of styling and smoother engine better in Cruse on road and the mileage is lower but i like the handling jst make Wow.. even though i ride pulsar 150, Fz v2 but nothing had this much handling and pick up. when I'm riding Fz V2 it had issues like kiker and I disliked the bike because of Over weight and handling is not better as v1.and has weight on stering it feels pain to ride on traffic.Fzv1 has not such issues.buttery smooth and handling is perfect compare to other 150cc bikes till date..!
For an commuter like us nothing can be Better than Fz... I have Fz16 and Apache RTR 180 believe me both are good in terms of handling but Fz has its corner to it's knees...
You always know how to charm away viewers, right Sarge? Very nice review. Although, I wanted it to be a bit more in detail, whatever was presented was delightful. One thing I wanted to know primarily was - how are these two maintenance wise? FI system in FZ isn't as good as it's in bigger Yamaha bikes (I've heard).
Excellent review. Glad you guys made one. But i am confused between few bikes . I am a college student and I am planning to buy a new bike . Please help to choose one . My considerations are : 1. Pulsar 150 AS 2. Gixxer 155 3. Apache 200 RTR And also no one had done a review between Pulsar 150 AS and Gixxer 155 . There's too lot of review between Gixxer SF and Pulsar AS not a good one with Pulsar VS Gixxer 155 . Please make one and waiting for review on Apache RTR 200 4V
I'm a daily commuter and now thinking on buying a bike can u pls suggest which bike is more preferable over Yamaha FZv2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer , which bike is better in matters of daily commutation as well as speed coz i'm a speed loving guy , and if any other bike in this same budget pls suggest :D
Hemil Shihora Both the bikes are equally good! The FZ offers refinement while the Gixxer offers performance. If speed is there in your list, we suggest you go with the latter.
Pablo A. Rossi evn pulsar 180 is not a bad option tho as is overall look wise i find fz better but performance wise pulsar is better ! Thank you for ur suggestion , really appreciate it ;)
PowerDrift Great video once again guys. But now I am just confused which bike to choose between the FZs V2.0 & the Pulsar 200ns both are at the same price point just a few thousand here and there ex-showroom Mumbai. The FZs V2.0 will give me a better mileage whereas the Pulsar 200ns will give me better power 50cc more. My run daily is hardly 30 km to & fro. It would be helpful to choose a best bike out of them yet I know that comparing these 2 makes no sense. But would you help me out.
Hello Team, Nice review, i agree to what all has been said while comparing both the motorcycles but i would like to know few more things as well. 1. Which one offers better pillion comfort? especially for ladies who sit facing one side. 2. Which company has more trusted service records, yamaha or suzuki? 3. What's the actual fuel economy for both the bikes. 4. I've tested both the bikes but Gixxer has hard gears comparatively., what's your say in that? 5. Gixxer is very sharp and quick on acceleration and light but i felt braking was good enough and also Gixxer's shock absorbers were very good even on bad and bumpy roads. What's your say on this? Please let me know as i am planning to buy a bike out of these two within a week. Thanks
Dude ur speech and way if representation is awsome.Just Loved it.I dont like Gixeer coz of its upper back seat.I have shortlisted FZs.fi vs Hornet..Confused I am not a speed freak just mature under 60-70km/hr smooth riding will suffice my needs no rash riding coz I respect the Bike and it will respect me. also sometimes get stuck in 1hr traffic easily so a bike that does not put too much stress on overall body. these Are the following conclusions derived by me from online reviews right 1.Braking: Hornet Wins 2. Milage : Confusion -->But on priority 3.Looks : FZs Fi 4. City Performance ie Maneuvering in city traffic : FZ fi. 5. Easily flickable due to weight : FZ Fi 132kgs 6.onRoad PRice in mumbai Fzs fi : ________ vs Hornet w/o CBS : __________ 7.Maintainence cost : Confusion Initially thaught of hornet but I think It will look too bigger on my My height being 5"5 Weight 55kgs.Other options ignored 1)Bajaj Avenger street 150 : ok ok Engine .also honda or yamaha any day good in long term reliablity 2.Unicorn 160 : looks and too much commuter oriented.. Any corrections will be highly appreciated as u people are experts in the business. Can u help me out pick the best suited according to my needs
Excellent review. Gixxer is a no brainer choice. The 150cc air cooled segment has received a noteworthy entrant after a very long time. Suzuki truly deserve good sales. I think the RTR 160 has finally been beaten/matched in terms of performance after 7 years(I know it has a small displacement advantage, but still...)
naked gixxer 155c facing carb icing.. condense of carburetor so much that water found on carburetor body... when checking mileage in service center found 55kmpl but when checking reserve to reserve m getting 44kmpl do u hear about this?
Great review guys.. Anyone can get the complete knowledge about these bikes by watching this review. I am gonna buy one this week or the next. The only thing concerns me is the durability and maintenance. I am not getting the answer anywhere. Fi engine is new for the garage people like the gixxer in the market. Plz plz suggest which bike will be durable with less maintenance problems!! TIY
My yamaha Fz-s V1 is ruling the street since 6 years. No doubt gixxer also is the best bike in 150cc segment, but it's not all about the performance it's about the Build quality and highlight your style on the street. Let's see how is the build quality of suzuki gixxer. Yamaha always holds the fantastic looking and highlights you on the street and track. Handling nobody can beat yamaha in braking and control, Fz-s is a traffic cutting machine.
Hi, I am currently driving a 2009 CBZ Xtreme...It has done 60,000 km and is doing pretty good... Right now, I am confused whether I should buy a new bike or should I wait for some more time... Please answer my below questions... 1.What is the life span of a motorcycle? Is this the right time to buy a new bike?My bike has been maintained properly, both tyres have been changed in 2015 and it is running without any major problems.Should I buy a new bike or can I wait for some more time? 2.If I want to buy a new bike, which one should I buy?I like Honda Hornet, Suzuki Gixxer and Bajaj Avenger Street 220.I like the Avenger because of unmatched comfort and looks, but I was told that it is good only in a straight line and is prone to skidding.
Karthik Jakkaraju Hi karthik, so did you buy any bike? I ride a 2003 cbz super sprint...yeah the old one. Done 70k and using for city commuting. My brother bought it in second hand for dirt cheap in 2009 and I am still using it. We also have unicorn and Fz16.To share my experience with bikes.. 1. Life span of a motor cycle depends on many factors like the brand we are choosing, how well we ride and maintain it. If there is no problem with your bike performance dont go for a new one. 2. If you still want to buy one, choose a bike that is best suited for your purpose like city commuting or for long drives. There are many bikes in the budget based upon your requirement...you can also check for other factors like engine refinement, mileage, performance, disk brakes, fuel/ carborator engines etc. Ride safe! Thanks
I have a question. I am planning to buy a bike in 160 segment.. so can you'll tell me which bike is better among these? RTR160, Unicorn 160, Gixxer150 or Hunk150 based on Acceleration, Top speed and handling
Whoever reviews these two bikes will go for Gixxer. These crybabies in the comment section will always bash Suzuki. Gixxer has a great acceleration, pickup and looks better than the boring FZ. And the engine is reliable. I've clocked 800kms in a single day in the summer's 42°C( servicing done before 6000kms) and its same as the day 1 pickup.
I bought Yamaha Fz s v 2.0 and i feel that the engine is heating soon i am on around 120 km, is this a problem or it is not a big problem for new engine?? And one more thing that i want to ask with you guys Driving with 2 riders on this condition(in case of total 100+ kms) will harm engine or i can drive it with 2 rider?? (I have heard somewhere that i should avoid double rider until it reach to 500 KM) Reply ASAP please i am waiting for it.
sandy adhikari The initial phase also known as the run in phase is the most critical phase of owning a motorcycle! The bike should not be pushed beyond a certain RPM in this period. Head out to the service center and you will get your solution.
Loved watching ur reviews. Can you please suggest Yamaha FZs V2.0 vs Gixxer Rear disc edition considering the ride comfort and engine performance and also the Headlamps issue in Gixxer.
Hello Team, Great review for Yamaha Fsz Fi hut i felt it was bit too a comparison video then a full review. Can you please do a in depth review for the same as i have some doubts with bike 1. Some tips to maintain bike in good condition 2. ENgine sound increased after 1st service. 3. After 70 to 80kms bike feels to start vibrate. is that true? 4. When is the best time to shift gears.(1st gear = rpm?)2nd gear = rpm?
I am seriously confused between the yamaha fz fi v2 and suzuki gixxer. I have driven both of them and found better control, braking in the fz fi v2 whereas gixxer seemed more smoother with a better pick up. Personally i felt fz fi v2 ( not the fz S fi v2) has better looks. Please tell me which one is the better option?
awesome review and an informative one too .. i hope you guys do more of such cool comparison videos for other test vehicles to help the consumer make an informed purchase .. cheers
Awesome review . really I like the way you people do it in an effective way... And reviews looks like an action movie. I am very confused between gixxer , apache 160 and pulsar 180 . plssss suggest me which to prefer considering all the aspects.
I have seen both the bikes on road and Yamaha FZS 2.0 is a delight to watch!!! In your review the FZS 2.0 performs better in the deceleration test as compared to Gixxer, but in other comparison reviews they said Gixxer performs better in deceleration test. So I am bit confused???
its been 5 years since i bought my fz v1... it was a maintenance free motorcycle until a couple of months ago, now it s a big pain in the ass... the bike stops and wont start while riding in the rain and the mileage is terrible
bullcrap. theres no such thing as "maintenance free" machine. fucking stupid. no wonder your fz is giving you that "pain in the ass" because you didnt treated her well. now you need some dose of paracetamol!
Ritesh Mohapatra Go for FZ-S 2.0 if u want butterly smooth engine and gear shifts and if quality matters to u then fzs 2.0 is unmatcheable in 150cc if u want power and top speed go for Gixxer
Sexy video..!!! I only wish that you had mentioned just one more point when it comes to real world practicality - and that is after sales service. Suzuki have a really bad service center presence even in metropolitans and megacities. At least with Yamaha if you don't like one dealer you can always go to an alternate dealer for after sales.
That's true :) and That's how things were for Yamaha once not so long ago. "Better products" got in more dealership, and the right attitude of the new dealers, got in "better service" Let's give it some time :)
PowerDrift Absolutely - Gixxer is a winner and Suzuki said (in a recent news article I read) that they are going to concentrate on increasing their dealer density... I am still recommending to Gixxer to every tom, dick and harry I am meeting..!! Once again - this was a cool video. Sgt. always does good things!! Thanks for your reply! :)
Great Work PowerDrift!Really Loved it!. My search for the best comparison is over :) Thanks.. Btw Team PwerDrift, need an opinion, Given that I am okay to put extra 8k , Is Yamaha FZS FI worth it ? I dont care much about Speed and Power.City commuting is Main :)
PowerDrift guys, sorry to say but FZ V1 has more power and speed than the new V2, yeah the fuel economy is much more better in V2, but when speed power and performance is concerned, then the V2 cannot beat V1 in any way.
what are the different options do i have if I want to change Tyre set of fz s. I was thinking of fitting pirelli demon 140/60 or contigo 140/60 (continental). Please tell me whether this change will hamper the bike performance in adverse manner?? I once experienced pirelli tyre in acess 125(scooter) & it was phenomenal, so thought to experiment on Fz also. Please reply......
Great review! Fan of power drift now! Could you help me with one doubt. I want to know if the bike is comfortable for tall riders like me 6ft 1. I am really planning to buy this bike after watching this video! or 200 ns it is
CB HORNET VS GIXXER VS YAMAHA FZS OR FZ FI FUEL INJECTION , FOR LONG COMFORTABLE RIDE ON BAD ROAD BEST 1. FZS FI , 2 HORNET 3 GIXXER BUT FOR SPEED LOVER OVER ALL EXP. AND PRICE GIXXER IS WINNER BUT IN LONGER RIDE 400 KM OR MORE GIXXER IS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS FZ FI
PowerDrift I plan on buying my first bike soon and these 2 great bikes top my list, my question to you guys is which bike should for with mileage and the fact that I'll be using the bike for a good 5 years to come in mind? And great review! :D
Firstly amazing review by powerdrift. But, Now you guys got me thinking. I was gonna go for the gixxer but after watching this video u got my interest in the fz too. Is the FZ-S fi v2 really worth the money (93k in Bangalore).
which would you suggest to get on these 2 Motors in terms of everything ,power ,fuel economy ,Comfort for Longer rides ,Braking and quick acceleration in city traffic ?
Awesome review #PowerDrift.... Most awaited and Badly wanted know the compression between these two beasts .. :) Excellent review without partiality .. thumps up #PowerDrift:D Between mileage vise Gixxer 150 claims 63kmpl where as Fzs V2.0 claims around 55kmpl theoretically !! Can we have a practical average on both ?
would you be kind enough to let us know breaking no,bite and feel of breaks...thank you, which is better in breaking?break lever feel and play of each bike..
Hey, guys.. really awesome videos..kudos! I really don't know where to post thsi so Iam just gonna ask my question here.. Suzuki Gixxer or Apache rtr180 ABS? I don't mind paying a little extra for the ABS.. its totally worth it.. if it helps avoid a crash even just one time ;-) But this is my first time buying a motorcycle so I have no idea how TVS stacks up as a manufacturer.. would be really happy for any inputs.. and if by chance you guys think the Apache is worthless then which bike with ABS do you recommend?.. Thanks..
I am not a very sporty kind of person, just ride around in the city, all I need is decent mileage/average, good looks, comfort, a great value for money, low mantainance and a light clutch, so which would be better , Gixxer vs FZ FI vs Honda hornet? Would be buying at the end of December, so can I expect a little bit of a price cut or discount?
Well, you can. But for the things you mentioned, FZS FI would do the job better. It's more of a naked street fighter than sporty like a Gixxer. I've seen and ridden both. While I personally like the FZ-S, cos of it's better build quality and sturdiness, the Gixxer doesn't look as sophisticated and the switch gear isn't that great either in comparison. The Fuel Injection should get you better mileage too. The Gixxer does offer dual disc variants so if that's a concern, the Gixxer is better. My suggestion would be to test ride both. See what then fits your requirements with ease of use. All the best.
The main difference between FZ16 and FZS is the colour options and body work/decals. FZ16 has simpler monotone options and FZS has many new options. It's subjective so see what you like. Since these are both slightly sportier bikes, 3 might not be comfortable.
I'm a student so I should consider fuel economy and I like to buy Gixxer but the video shows 40 kmpl .... What about the mileage in city and highways...? Does Gixxer make fi Variant on naked one, can we expect....? ...
Hey Nandhu, this should help you about the Gixxer - ua-cam.com/video/p5ceUoM-D4w/v-deo.html We're not sure when it will get FI, but now it gets a disc on the rear too.

+faizan ansari Gixxer beats fz right from speed of 60kmph.
+Dhaval D you haven't reas my comment clearly. I have never said that fz is faster. But it is more refined and that is more important to me.

100% correct. A 150cc could help you learn the basic but its not a proper performance bike.

Thank you for an unbiased review .... Great stuff
Hiten Sangani Cheers Hiten. :)
Aniket Banerjee fz
Go with the FZ V2.0 Aniket...it meets your requirements
Excellent review. Glad you guys made one. But i am confused between few bikes . I am a college student and I am planning to buy a new bike . Please help to choose one . My considerations are :
1. Pulsar 150 AS
2. Gixxer 155
3. Apache 200 RTR
And also no one had done a review between Pulsar 150 AS and Gixxer 155 . There's too lot of review between Gixxer SF and Pulsar AS not a good one with Pulsar VS Gixxer 155 . Please make one and waiting for review on Apache RTR 200 4V
Help+knowledge+fun= powerdrift you guys r the best
Nice review..
I feel the transmission in gixxer is not as smooth as fz,but the gixxer has good acceleration which is a weaker point in fz
muhammed anwar Yes, true that!
Nice review, this is what i was looking for.
I need an information regarding the seating of the bike Yamaha FZ. Is it good compare to Gixer
Which one will be better ..Suzuki Gixxer SF or yamaha fazer fi version 2.0 ? pls help me....
Which bike should I buy among Yamaha FZ & pulsar 150?
I'm a daily commuter and now thinking on buying a bike can u pls suggest which bike is more preferable over Yamaha FZv2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer , which bike is better in matters of daily commutation as well as speed coz i'm a speed loving guy , and if any other bike in this same budget pls suggest :D
Hemil Shihora Both the bikes are equally good! The FZ offers refinement while the Gixxer offers performance. If speed is there in your list, we suggest you go with the latter.
thank you so much ;)
Hemil Shihora what about this bajaj pulsar 180 . www.bajajauto.com/pulsar180dtsi_features_technology.asp#topLook
Pablo A. Rossi evn pulsar 180 is not a bad option tho as is overall look wise i find fz better but performance wise pulsar is better ! Thank you for ur suggestion , really appreciate it ;)
Try new splender 180.
But would you help me out.
bought GIXXER Dual tone with rear disc ... Amazing Performance
Hello Team,
Nice review, i agree to what all has been said while comparing both the motorcycles but i would like to know few more things as well.
Thanks
Dude ur speech and way if representation is awsome.Just Loved it.I dont like Gixeer coz of its upper back seat.I have shortlisted FZs.fi vs Hornet..Confused
I am not a speed freak just mature under 60-70km/hr smooth riding will suffice my needs no rash riding coz I respect the Bike and it will respect me. also sometimes get stuck in 1hr traffic easily so a bike that does not put too much stress on overall body.
these Are the following conclusions derived by me from online reviews right
1.Braking: Hornet Wins
2. Milage : Confusion -->But on priority
3.Looks : FZs Fi
4. City Performance ie Maneuvering in city traffic : FZ fi.
5. Easily flickable due to weight : FZ Fi 132kgs
6.onRoad PRice in mumbai Fzs fi : ________ vs Hornet w/o CBS : __________
7.Maintainence cost : Confusion
Initially thaught of hornet but I think It will look too bigger on my My height being 5"5 Weight 55kgs.Other options ignored
1)Bajaj Avenger street 150 : ok ok Engine .also honda or yamaha any day good in long term reliablity
2.Unicorn 160 : looks and too much commuter oriented..
Any corrections will be highly appreciated as u people are experts in the business.
Can u help me out pick the best suited according to my needs
Thanks for the video..Informative..Bt pls cud u elaborate about the ground clearance issue being raised in gixer..That wud b helpful.
Excellent review. Gixxer is a no brainer choice. The 150cc air cooled segment has received a noteworthy entrant after a very long time. Suzuki truly deserve good sales.
I think the RTR 160 has finally been beaten/matched in terms of performance after 7 years(I know it has a small displacement advantage, but still...)
bellicromanx Yes, well said. :)
Excellent video as always.... Just raises one hard question... Gixxer or Apache Rtr 160?
I'm planning to buy a bike dis December, but confused between FZ v2, gixxer and pulsar 220. Please suggest which one to go for. .thanks.
Bang on the subject PowerDrift... my doubt about the performance of the FZ Ver.2 is clear now, for the record I have the old one and I love it!
Joel Ashirwadam Cheers to that mate!
naked gixxer 155c facing carb icing..
condense of carburetor so much that water found on carburetor body...
when checking mileage in service center found 55kmpl
but when checking reserve to reserve m getting 44kmpl
do u hear about this?
will gixxer give comfort?? beacause i m not fond of extra visor i prefer naked so please suggest me a bike..
TIY
Fzs fi tank is steel or carban fiber and it is realy look such finish or not
My yamaha Fz-s V1 is ruling the street since 6 years.
Hi,
I am currently driving a 2009 CBZ Xtreme...It has done 60,000 km and is doing pretty good...
Ride safe! Thanks
which one better fzs 2.0 and honda hornet 2018.I listen hornet chain problem its true? plss give suggestion...
I have a question. I am planning to buy a bike in 160 segment.. so can you'll tell me which bike is better among these? RTR160, Unicorn 160, Gixxer150 or Hunk150 based on Acceleration, Top speed and handling
Rohit Naik yep gixxer sf...
+Rohit Naik Gixxer dual tone
Whoever reviews these two bikes will go for Gixxer. These crybabies in the comment section will always bash Suzuki. Gixxer has a great acceleration, pickup and looks better than the boring FZ. And the engine is reliable. I've clocked 800kms in a single day in the summer's 42°C( servicing done before 6000kms) and its same as the day 1 pickup.
Which bike is worth buying? I'm totally confused now. Help me out.
Fzs
Is apache 180 a better pick when compared to gixxer dual disc variant.?! Apache costs 4k cheaper than gixxer here in hyderabad.. Please reply
Heiii powerdrift Which one should I go for? Yamaha fz 2.0 or Suzuki Gixxer in terms of actual mileage???
Both the bikes have similar fuel economies.
I am confused between these two bikes about their gear box. Whose gear box is smooth please tell
hey power drift....
I'm confused between these two.... Please suggest..
Hi could to tell me the mileage of the 2 bikes, any suggestion which is better?
gixxer and hornet who is best plz tell a answer
I bought Yamaha Fz s v 2.0 and i feel that the engine is heating soon i am on around 120 km, is this a problem or it is not a big problem for new engine?? And one more thing that i want to ask with you guys Driving with 2 riders on this condition(in case of total 100+ kms) will harm engine or i can drive it with 2 rider?? (I have heard somewhere that i should avoid double rider until it reach to 500 KM)
Reply ASAP please i am waiting for it.
sandy adhikari The initial phase also known as the run in phase is the most critical phase of owning a motorcycle! The bike should not be pushed beyond a certain RPM in this period. Head out to the service center and you will get your solution.
:D
even though i am not going to buy any bike in near future, i just love watching your reviews!!
Thank you, Pradeep. That means a lot :)
Remember to share our videos with your friends too.
booked fz16 black :D
HI i am confused between 2 bikes please suggest me one. Bajaj Pulsar AS150 and Yamaha FZS ver2.0
Loved watching ur reviews.
Can you please suggest Yamaha FZs V2.0 vs Gixxer Rear disc edition considering the ride comfort and engine performance and also the Headlamps issue in Gixxer.
Hello Team,
Great review for Yamaha Fsz Fi hut i felt it was bit too a comparison video then a full review.
Can you please do a in depth review for the same as i have some doubts with bike
1. Some tips to maintain bike in good condition
2. ENgine sound increased after 1st service.
3. After 70 to 80kms bike feels to start vibrate. is that true?
4. When is the best time to shift gears.(1st gear = rpm?)2nd gear = rpm?
which is worth ???? both are leading manufacturing companies so suzuki or Yamaha at 150 cc????
I am seriously confused between the yamaha fz fi v2 and suzuki gixxer. I have driven both of them and found better control, braking in the fz fi v2 whereas gixxer seemed more smoother with a better pick up. Personally i felt fz fi v2 ( not the fz S fi v2) has better looks. Please tell me which one is the better option?
look good FZ.bt boot bike has a problem.GIXXER is much hitting & poor plastic & fz v2 problem is self start.
+Neyamot Ali Swap that Minda battery with an Amaron dry battery and it's good to go.
which bike should I buy Honda hornet or FZ S fi version 2...
Please tell me.
Kashif Hussain Go for FZ-S if u want better fuel efficiency and engine refinement
awesome review and an informative one too .. i hope you guys do more of such cool comparison videos for other test vehicles to help the consumer make an informed purchase .. cheers
Awesome review . really I like the way you people do it in an effective way... And reviews looks like an action movie. I am very confused between gixxer , apache 160 and pulsar 180 . plssss suggest me which to prefer considering all the aspects.
You have 2 choice ! Suzuki Gixxer & FZ-S V2.0 ! Which one you will pickup ? & which one is best of them ?
Watching it after 6 years ❤️ the visual effects are still better than the most of the new channels
Do a R1 review already. I love all your reviews and would like to see your take on Yamaha's flagship motorcycle
Which I need buy Fzs or Fzv2?
•••*SAJEEB*••• Go for FZ-S 2.0
I have seen both the bikes on road and Yamaha FZS 2.0 is a delight to watch!!!
In your review the FZS 2.0 performs better in the deceleration test as compared to Gixxer, but in other comparison reviews they said Gixxer performs better in deceleration test. So I am bit confused???
Ohhhk.. like that !! Thanks Sagar.
its been 5 years since i bought my fz v1... it was a maintenance free motorcycle until a couple of months ago, now it s a big pain in the ass... the bike stops and wont start while riding in the rain and the mileage is terrible
same, mine still works after 5 years
bullcrap. theres no such thing as "maintenance free" machine. fucking stupid. no wonder your fz is giving you that "pain in the ass" because you didnt treated her well. now you need some dose of paracetamol!
I own an fz 16 for 4 years till now it got no complaint with the engine and also its smooth as hell 😎
V2 is best
a very good and informative video followed by a wise and genuine discussion.... its veey rare on youtube these days.. cheers to that👍
@powerdrift FZS Vs Gixxer? Which one do you recommend.
"Better products" got in more dealership, and the right attitude of the new dealers, got in "better service"
Let's give it some time :)
Love all your reviews...how about one for apache rtr 180 abs...there are no reviews anywhere I could find.
Riwaz Marhatta That is because we still have no access to the bike. :)
+PowerDrift Oh okay....Thankz anyway.
Great Work PowerDrift!Really Loved it!. My search for the best comparison is over :) Thanks..
Btw Team PwerDrift, need an opinion, Given that I am okay to put extra 8k , Is Yamaha FZS FI worth it ? I dont care much about Speed and Power.City commuting is Main :)
which is better millage bike fz v2 or gixxer naked??? plz help me
Impressive review PowerDrift!
Exactly what I wanted to see, thank you so much.
Chitransh Khanna Thank you Chitransh. :)
PowerDrift guys, sorry to say but FZ V1 has more power and speed than the new V2, yeah the fuel economy is much more better in V2, but when speed power and performance is concerned, then the V2 cannot beat V1 in any way.
PowerDrift I have a Question
Does Yamaha Fz Fi vibrate at high speed like 100km/hr ?
what are the different options do i have if I want to change Tyre set of fz s.
I'm confused between two bikes FzS v2.0 and Fz Fi 2.0 which is better bike ?
The fzs Fi v2.0 is better than the Fzs v2.0.
I am planning to buy a bike under 1-lakh Which one should i choose Suzuki-Gixxer or Apache-RTR-180?
U guys blow the competition away!!! All ur reviews r great!!! Cheers!!
***** Thank you Vivek! :)
Great review! Fan of power drift now!
Could you help me with one doubt. I want to know if the bike is comfortable for tall riders like me 6ft 1. I am really planning to buy this bike after watching this video! or 200 ns it is

+PowerDrift

Abhijith Anil i got my bike and i am fucking happy with bike
CB hornet CBS vs Gixxer naked. which one is the best among the two? also please do compare with Apache 200 std version.
We do have the Hornet marked on our calendar! Stay tuned, stay subscribed and stay notified!
+PowerDrift when? any hint?
CB HORNET VS GIXXER VS YAMAHA FZS OR FZ FI FUEL INJECTION , FOR LONG COMFORTABLE RIDE ON BAD ROAD BEST 1. FZS FI , 2 HORNET 3 GIXXER BUT FOR SPEED LOVER OVER ALL EXP. AND PRICE GIXXER IS WINNER BUT IN LONGER RIDE 400 KM OR MORE GIXXER IS NOT AS COMFORTABLE AS FZ FI
prashant gupta which one is better to buy fz 16 or fz v.20?
Naveen Reddy fz v2 better for mileage point of view
PowerDrift I plan on buying my first bike soon and these 2 great bikes top my list, my question to you guys is which bike should for with mileage and the fact that I'll be using the bike for a good 5 years to come in mind? And great review! :D
Raehan Ahmed Which bike did you buy?
The best review of fz and gixxer..i have ever seen !! Thanx a lot for the full details . Keep it up guyz :)
Firstly amazing review by powerdrift. But, Now you guys got me thinking. I was gonna go for the gixxer but after watching this video u got my interest in the fz too. Is the FZ-S fi v2 really worth the money (93k in Bangalore).
Shantanu Manerikar We would recommend that you go for the Gixxer!
FZ-S in Bangalore is coming in 95-96k and Gixxer 87-88k that's a huge difference of 8k worth to consider..!!
Wrong information on FZ F1 v1.0 top speed 107kmph
which would you suggest to get on these 2 Motors in terms of everything ,power ,fuel economy ,Comfort for Longer rides ,Braking and quick acceleration in city traffic ?
More comfort and smooth engine on the fz
More power, and performance on the Gixxer....
Choice is yours
thanks :)
Boss awesome video fan of powerdrift but I want to buy apache 180 is it good bike ? Can u make review for apache
Awesome review #PowerDrift.... Most awaited and Badly wanted know the compression between these two beasts .. :) Excellent review without partiality .. thumps up #PowerDrift:D
Between mileage vise Gixxer 150 claims 63kmpl where as Fzs V2.0 claims around 55kmpl theoretically !! Can we have a practical average on both ?
Vinod Raj Thanks a ton for your kind words buddy!
which ones better in gravel road??
would you be kind enough to let us know breaking no,bite and feel of breaks...thank you, which is better in breaking?break lever feel and play of each bike..
+goslowgolong rr How about a 150cc shootout including all the other 150cc machines?
Sir pls help which one shud i go fr yamaha Fz S or Fz F1
please help me with one is better fz or gixxer.. if v look ovrall perfrmnc
Hey, guys.. really awesome videos..kudos!
I really don't know where to post thsi so Iam just gonna ask my question here..
Suzuki Gixxer or Apache rtr180 ABS?
I don't mind paying a little extra for the ABS.. its totally worth it.. if it helps avoid a crash even just one time ;-)
But this is my first time buying a motorcycle so I have no idea how TVS stacks up as a manufacturer.. would be really happy for any inputs.. and if by chance you guys think the Apache is worthless then which bike with ABS do you recommend?.. Thanks..
Alex Bigham Since you are inclined towards buying a bike that has ABS, look no further!
Thanks for the quick reply..
Again...Kudos to you guys :-)
I am not a very sporty kind of person, just ride around in the city, all I need is decent mileage/average, good looks, comfort, a great value for money, low mantainance and a light clutch, so which would be better , Gixxer vs FZ FI vs Honda hornet? Would be buying at the end of December, so can I expect a little bit of a price cut or discount?
Himansh Mulchandani FZS FI. Hornet if you're a slightly taller person.
Vaibhav Chaudhary Why not suzuki gixxer?
Vaibhav Chaudhary which one is better to buy FZ-16 OR FZ S? is gixxer comfortable for 3 persons on bike ?
The main difference between FZ16 and FZS is the colour options and body work/decals. FZ16 has simpler monotone options and FZS has many new options. It's subjective so see what you like.
Since these are both slightly sportier bikes, 3 might not be comfortable.
I'm a student so I should consider fuel economy and I like to buy Gixxer but the video shows 40 kmpl .... What about the mileage in city and highways...?
Does Gixxer make fi Variant on naked one, can we expect....? ...
Hey Nandhu, this should help you about the Gixxer - ua-cam.com/video/p5ceUoM-D4w/v-deo.html
We're not sure when it will get FI, but now it gets a disc on the rear too.
v2 gives more mileage than gixxer because of the fi. the rear disc brake just adds weight giving lesser mileage.
this video explains everything.thnk u powerdrift.
