The Last Dinner Party is who I've been listening to most this year, enjoy live performances on UA-cam. Best new thing in a long time......maybe you could do an individual reaction to their album.
The Cure is the one that we share for top 10 of the year but I agree that the Camera Obscura, The Decemberists and DIIV were all solid as well. Wasn't really into The Smile's new one or Jack White, though I could certainly hear why fans loved the latter. Just not my kinda thing.

My favorite Rock Records 2024 = Hard Quartet, Cure- songs of a lost world, The Softies- The Bed I Made, Pat Todd and the Rankoutsiders- keepin chaos at bay, Mary Timony - untame the tiger, Mark Knopfler - One Deep River Deluxe version
The Smile is definitely one of my favorites of the year. Saw The Decemberists on this tour and it made me enjoy the new album more after seeing it live. Confused by Kendrick Lamar being on an “indie rock” list. Or The Cure for that matter. Cheers ✌🏻
