  • Hey Stephen Here!
Sabrina and I leave Tamarindo and head to Samara. We take the public bus from Tamarindo to Santa Cruz to Nicoya to Samara. The public bus is super cheap and is an easy to get around.

Great video, didn't realized that we would have to walk to each stop, thought they would be in the same drop off location. Few questions, when paying, are you paying the bus driver, or is there a stand where someone is selling the tickets and is in only on colonies???

Colones is best to use as much as you can. Paying depends on the bus company. Some have stations that you pay at and will be given a ticket, others you pay the driver. Bus travel in Costa Rica is great. If you are unsure about where to go just talk to the driver or a local on the bus. Amazing people in Costa Rica. Super helpful and friendly.

@@jestinaeubanks6966 there is a city bus you can take from the airport to downtown for cheap. The bus stop is on the mail road, past the car park, as soon as you come out of the airport. The bus comes every 15 to 20 min and will take you right downtown. The taxis and shuttles at the airport are expensive...just an FYI. Thanks for checking out my video. Hope you have a great time in Costa Rica. 😀

Hey! Thanks for checking out our video. We are currently in Samara Beach. We started in San Jose and went North West over to Monteverde, then on to Tamarindo. We are working our way down the Nicoya Peninsula. We want to see as much of the west coast as possible before heading to the Caribbean side. Costa Rica is incredible.
