I met Vinnie and Dime by chance in April of 1992 in Columbus, while eating at a McDonalds near the venue they were playing (Newport Music Hall). I have never forgotten how down to each both of them were as they put the invite out there to hang out. I ended up walking down High Street and going into a guitar store with both of them. They truly made me feel like I have known them for years. Thanks for putting this video together. It brought back the memories of seeing Vinnie and Dime perform several times, as well as yet another reminder at how short life really is. Rest in peace.
Thanks for sharing that experience, it helps my broken metal heart. I'm so grateful I got to see them jam many times & even met VP a few times but not like your experience. RIP Vinnie & Dime
@@Chadhall1988 Same here. It's like what happened to Joey Jordison when he passed, I always wanted to meet him but we can't anymore now. Rest in Peace Joey & Vinnie. My favourite drummers

MAXX WICK I know this may be too soon, but with every end there is new beginning. While it's upsetting that we'll never hear any new Pantera or Hellyeah, maybe we can hope for Mudvayne to reunite.
bobby jones. HELLYEAH I would love to see Mudvayne reunited, like I said anything Chad does he will have myself support his choice. I had the chance to see HELLYEAH five times and meet Chad, awesome guy, Dime, Big Vin and Chad were all cut from the same cloth.
Yeah the guys from Mudvayne were cool as fuck man I met them in Seattle in a bar called Mickey Flynn's in early 2000 they were sitting in the corner in the dark drinking beer and eating deep fried beer battered green olives stuffed with cheese! I saw them and almost lost it walked over told them I loved them and they were bad fucking ass, had a beer with them, got there autographes on my shirt and they went and did there concert across the street!! One of the coolest days of my life!!

i cry every time, today is the 2 year passing of Vinnie Paul, having some Jim Beam and tearing up to this...great guy and musician. I met him for the first time when i was 18 and he was very cool and was treating everyone like hes known them forever. I then met him about 3 or 4 years later at NAMM and he remembered me hanging out with them all on the bus and talking about music. Not many genuine musicians out there like him and Dime were.
I love you Vinnie, I'll never forget the amazing music you and Dime created that saved my soul from what was inside me. Thank ya'll for everything you did in your music that helped this Texas boy.
R.i.p Vinnie Paul, I'm so glad your music came to my life 3 years ago, thank you so much for pushing me towards my goals. Tell Dimebag we said hi. Thank you again.
Loved Pantera, loved Mudvayne, will always love HELLYEAH! When I met Chad Gray at BFS 98 at Alliant Energy Center/ Kohl's Center where the badgers hockey teams play. In Madison,Wisconsin and got to shake his hand plus talk to him was one of the nights I would never forget! I was 16 and in a white wife beater and did not bow down to slipknot! Happy to meet you Chad years ago! You and your band has always been down to earth and value life! Which means and meant a lot to me till this day so thank you for shaking my hand and talking with me. I will never forget that moment. Thank you for giving me that. Your band's, mudvayne, Hellyeah, and Pantera I have always follow and will always follow cause of the music and what you guys have over come.
