    Been using my gigboard for 3 years now - pleased to say its performed, without fault, over many gigs and rehearsals - also bought the Headrush expression pedal which is built like a tank.

    I really like the direction Headrush is going with the GigBoard and their products! The touch screen and ease of use is absolutely insane. Not to forget that you always get the benefit of future software updates and enhancements!!!

    Us synth guys need a Headrush Synthboard. No stomp buttons but the same effects, throw in some granular, stereo in & out and keep the stereo effects loop. Man that would be right up my alley!!! I'd buy that in a heartbeat

    Can one set up parallel signal chains on it?

  • @Watchman_1

    Can I use the set list mode on one song on all 4 buttons for a song with 4 different sounds in it? Lets say, i have an intro sound, another one for a verse, another one for the chorus, and another one for a solo.
    If so, then how do I move up to the next song?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +1

      With the gigboard it will display 2 rigs from your setlist that you made and the other two switches will be toggle Up or toggle Down. So it is very easy to keep moving through your Setlist as you created it. You can always jump into Stomp mode while in Setlist mode for individual control and other modes and then jump back into Setlist mode all hands free and in real time.

    Great video! If i setup 4 scenes, how do i bank up/down to another set of 4 scenes ? Do i have to use an external switch like the boss fs7?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +1

      Since there are 4 footswtiches you can only make 4 scenes per Rig, but then you can combine this with Setlist mode and it can literally be endless with 2 buttons dedicated to moving rigs up and down through the setlist.

    please help! In a Live situation how do i send one signal to a real cab(with IR disabled and running it through a power amp) and another signal to the sound guy(with IR enabled) ??

      Excellent question, since this unit is clearly aimed at live use. Any users know if this is possible on Gigboard?

    Got my gigboard on order waiting for shipment. 2 questions. I've heard the full sized pedal board comes with free celestion i.r. downloads, does the gigboard come with these said free i.r.? Will yall add more amp choices per say a 5150, engl and so on at some point?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +5

      Yup there is a Celestion download card in the box :) We just had a massive 2.0 update for Pedalboard and are going to also update Gigboard very soon. We had 5 updates in the first year of being public and plan on always updating and making the unit better! :)

    @headrushfx Hey Guys, for an entire live setup wud u use tha Pedal B & Gig B together and throw in tha monitors as well? So basically u can setup scenes kinda like sequencing ur show etc? I personally want to use tha PB for efx n vibe off my own amp @ certain times as I'm looking 2 create my own unique sound etc Thanx!

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  4 роки тому

      Hello, you can certainly use our products with a real amp and just FX. You can use it with scenes, setlist mode and more to make changing big patches easy with a tap of 1 footswitch.

    Is it possible to use a midi foot controller to change scenes or change setlists and then have the 4buttons for stomp mode?

    • @Rockefeller1
      @Rockefeller1 4 роки тому

      Yes! As of 2.1 firmware update, you have more MIDI option such as turning on/off pedals, switch scenes, etc.

  • @MrVyrtuoso
    @MrVyrtuoso 5 років тому +1

    So, seeing as how this has even less buttons and no on-board expression pedal, how are we doing on controlling effects and amp parameters via MIDI CC?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +1

      First off it has a Expression Pedal Input, Hands free editing, Scenes, Set List mode, Rig mode, hybrid mode. All of these are very powerful options to turn off and FX or other options. And YES, you can also use Midi Program Changes. :)

    • @MrVyrtuoso
      @MrVyrtuoso 5 років тому +1

      More than turning effects on and off, I'd like to be able to toggle between different minimum and maximum values over a range of effects and amp settings with one button switch, and to accomplish this without having to scroll through or call up different presets or programs. I'd also like to be able to automate parameter changes over MIDI sequences. Up to now, I haven't seen Headrush gear to be a platform that lets me do this.

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +1

      This has always been able to happen with hands free mode. You can edit any parameter using the buttons or Expression pedal on any FX, AMP, Cab etc. All completely hands free. Have you ever demo'd a HeadRush Pedalboard? You should go to a store and check it out.

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  5 років тому +1

      Literally in this video time stamped in the description is Hands Free Mode, 2:45 - Hands Free Mode

    • @MrVyrtuoso
      @MrVyrtuoso 5 років тому

      The hands free mode let's you use the expression pedal or the increment/decrement buttons to change only a single parameter at a time. And the parameters that are assignable to the footswitches are only those that are "switch-based" or two-state on-off ones. As it is now and has been since release unless the 2.0 update addresses it, it is impossible to assign to a single footswitch to toggle between say amp gain at 24%, bass at 50%, gate off, comp on, overdrive off, delay level at 50%, delay time at dotted eight, and reverb at 60% wet when switch is off, but then have amp gain at 60%, bass at 30%, gate on, comp off, overdrive on, delay level at 24%, delay time at quarter, and reverb at 24% when switch is on. Yes, I can duplicate the rig with a variant setting and save it to an adjacent preset location for quick nav. At the very least, I was hoping that such range of parameters can be assigned to a footswitch and the footswitch is then assignable to a MIDI CC number. But ideally every parameter should be assignable to discrete MIDI CC numbers, allowing us to MIDI sequence parameter changes and variations as MIDI events over a DAW, which changes lock and track with the project's MIDI clock and time-code. Such were facilities native to devices as old as the POD and J-Station, so it seems odd to release devices that are advanced in sound generation but in comparison to even older units have much more limited control capabilities.

    Can you run 1 amp into 2 separate Cabinet/IR blocks? And can I pan those 2 cabinets anyway I want to? I want to run 2 impulses side by side just like I was micing a real cabinet using 2 mics but I don't need the second amp sim to pair with the second cab.

      You can switch them to be either

    • @eXtendedmusicHD

      Would setting them to Line level make them balanced? If so, could I run a 1/4 inch to xlr cable to FOH as a substitution for the usual XLR out on the big HR Pedalboard?

    Hy i am newbie with the gigboard,
    i just recently bought a Gb. and i need to know how to use the Gigboard with my amp!?
    I would like to use the Gb. as a multi-effects device in conjunction with my amplifier!
    I use an ENGL Extreme Aggression Amp and I want to use an overdrive effect of the Gb. infront of my Amp, and the modulation or Delay after the preamp in the FX loop of my amp, i know about the 4 Cable methode, the biggest issue here is the routing within the Gb. its drive me crazy !!! But i also need know how to adjust the volume of the Gb to the FX Loop of my Amp how is that possible? there are no Videos on YT about this issue!
    And I would also like to use the ext.amp to switch my amp from ch.1 to ch.2.
    Is it possible for you to do a video about it?
    Thank you very much in advance!

    The "hands free" functionality is brilliant. Full MIDI in and out, excellent. The Looper looks amazing. But, 1/4" TRS to FOH? I'd pay an extra $25 to get real balanced XLR outs. The big board has real XLR's, yes?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  3 роки тому

      Yes the full sized Pedalboard has XLR outputs and 1/4" outputs

    • @seanpitts792
      @seanpitts792 2 роки тому

      @@HeadRushFX I thought these 1/4" outputs were switchable between balanced/unbalanced? If not, couldn't you simply use a TRS/Male XLR adapter then run to the FOH?

    • @HeadRushFX
      @HeadRushFX  2 роки тому

      @@seanpitts792 you are correct and they are digitally switchable between Amp and Line levels.

    Me thinks you need to emphasize it can do bass as well.
    Bass players need pedals too. Usually what works with guitar works with synthesizers as well...just an idea.
    Just bought one and it is endless fun to create your own pedalboards! Had to check but yes it does go to 11 LMAO!
