    I love how real you are! You don't overthink things. (My problem). You simplify your technique to where its easy to learn! I tend to over foil. And I like how you just pick up here and there where its just needed. So happy i found you!

    Glad that it turned out good for you! I love that you were honest in the video about having to guess and being nervous about it a lot of hair coloring is just a guessing game! Thankfully I’ve done well on that too as I have to admit more often then not especially if someone comes in and wants to change it up and I don’t have the exact colors I have to mix and create them myself and I’ve gotten rather good at that, especially if I don’t have time to go to the store! Lol

      Exactly! Sometimes it’s just a guessing game and hoping everything turns out or the hair grabs it how you envision it.... I feel like it’s better to be honest than pretend I know everything

      Really understanding color theory takes a lot of the guesswork out when you know the background and tone colors, but yeah....who hasn't done some backwash praying to the "color gods?" Thanks for sharing your experience. I totally created this color on accident and loved it. LOL

    Love this 😍 I just picked up some igora vibrance shades the other day and can’t wait to play around with them! I’d love to see more videos of you using their toners & to hear your opinions of them and tips on how you use them! I saw blondeme makes a clay lighter balayage now & I heard they make a clear lightener now too?

    hey so after doing the balayage you mixed 9.5-46 and 7-1 together in the same bowl and just slapped that on using it as a toner/dye? Or did you apply them separately

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  4 роки тому

      Hello! I actually mixed them together, more of the 7/1

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  4 роки тому

      Also, if you add 6-12 that adds extra depth and ashiness if you think you need it. Just be cautious cause it can grab VERY ashy

      I guess that depends on if you have blonde and are just toning down, or if you are dark and need to balayage then tone down.
      Anywhere from $175-$250 roughly

      It has very ashy undertones in it. Mostly an ash brown in recent years has been referred to as "mushroom brown". Not necessarily technique, just tone.
