    What a bloody joke. What happens when we get a freak ice storm like we had that brought pylons down? Is the Shanghai bridge going to collapse too?

    I've researched a bespoke solution that will prevent ice forming on the cables. Google -

    Why cant the old bridge not be used for traffic as a temporary measure when the new bridge is closed due to icing? In would save motorist a twenty mile diversion to get to Edinburgh What a joke
