@@aaron_yaohi is transition into investment banking is possible after my mba from Wharton?.I got strong profile but no direct experience in investment banking but have broad client facing and couple of foundation skills, and did 3 Goldman internship with good performance
@@aaron_yao wow, great! Could you please make a video about what is your educational background, qualifications that you have, what skills employers look for in financial analysts, are those skills rather technical, etc. What can you suggest to a highschooler to do to make sure they have relatively safe future in terms of employment in financial realm? I'm a highschooler myself and want to get into this career path, that's why I'm actually asking you these questions, hopefully I'll get answers to them from you. Have a nice day!
In terms of ab exercises, just treat your abs like any other muscle group, so 2-4 sets of 5-10 reps. My personal ab workout is; 4 sets of 8-10 reps on cable crunches 3 sets of 8 reps for cable woodchops 3 sets of 10 reps for russian twists. Great video nonetheless!
Hi, Aaron! I am a rookie corporate banker in Pakistan and sometimes the routine does feel so repetitive that I feel like quitting the industry altogether but then I remind myself that this hustle is gonna end with something great in the future. Loved your video.
Loving the content man! current Sophomore at ASU WP carey working towards finance degree, your vids have helped a lot. Favorite ab exercise has to be hanging leg raises. Try them, it'll change your life.
When was the lunch prepared? I can fully relate on the repetitiveness as I am in a mid management level in fin-tech but I guess we all need a side hustle or a passion that can potentially make us enough to get out of this rat-race.
I think I made it the night before. And absolutely, although I really enjoy working in this industry, I think having a side hustle can potentially open up more options if one day you decide to pivot.
That's definitely something I hear from a lot of people moving far from their hometown to a new city. I was lucky in that NYC is close to my home state of CT so I knew a good amount of people in the city, but my advice to you would be to seek out communities based on your interests. You can look on Facebook or Meetup and try to find some friends that way. Best of luck!
Hey i have a question I'm from India I have always heard that people in wallstreet are damn rich and have a luxurious lifes but what you have showed in this video was quite the opposite thanks
@@aaron_yao sick, I’m deciding between UConn or central for finance, any advice / suggestions or opinions that may help ? I appreciate your videos man been a big push for me to go back to school
I like how real you are “I can’t afford $7 Starbucks everyday” sometimes corporate life isn’t all that glam as people post
I appreciate that! I'm really trying to be as transparent as possible when it comes to showing what corporate life is like.
Great stuff as always Aaron. The repetitive days will compound into greatness!
Always appreciated bro 😤
This is a nice comment. Keep the goal in sight man :)

What is this bank that you work so little? Half the time I’m signing off at 4 or 5 am.
Wakes up at 5:30. Leaves home at 5:30… teach me
I thought people who work in Wall Street had much longer working hours. like 80-100 hours per week
That’s typically true for investment bankers might markets related roles have less hours in my experience.
Yo man. Do you have friends? I mean I’m so nervous that when I will go alone to new city I won’t meet good ppls

hey just curious how long is your commute
It was about 15 min by skateboard when I was living in the city!
@@aaron_yao oh wow did you move to the suburbs?
@@haythere5805 I have but won't be forever!
General I been seeming that analysis work 100 hours a week, is that true?
80-100hr weeks are generally true for investment banking analysts. On the S&T side it is closer to 60hrs/week.

Good idea!
Hey man I'm in South Africa doing my final year In statistics. How can we get in touch for mentorship.

It's more a reflection of my personal life style choices as I am pretty frugal. 😂 I had and still have coworkers that live quite luxurious lifestyles.
Beautiful.
Did u have any risk internships before working full time? I'm guessing u do
Yeah I had one risk internship my junior year summer!
