I film weekly in low light with my pocket 3, mounted on a wrist mount. This allows me to move my left arm for significant reframing whilst controlling the gimbal with the mimo app on my handlebar mount. I would love a waterproof version but the Action 5 does not seem to provide the image quality needed 🙏🙏
low light will improved in the future with 1inch or more bigger senser, the action cam seems to be the best for many uses. I am looking forward to the Ace Pro 2!
Good comparison video! Cycling in Japan looks lovely! Do you feel that Action 5 is a worthwhile upgrade from the Action 4 ? Would also also be interesting to see if you have a chance to review and compare the insta 360 x4 footage quality and their respective bikemounts in the future (: Cheers
Thanks! I don't have the Action 4 but from what I've seen so far it's not a very significant upgrade unless you want better low light performance or want some of its new features like built-in storage or the pressure gauge. Would love to do a comparison with the X4 but don't have one ):
From my experience, the Action 4 stays very smooth when mounted on the handlebar with RockSteady enabled; it only gets blurry at shutter speeds below around 1/200 when riding on a bumpy road.

Haven't heard of that one before, interesting setup 😲
Great video!
I was looking for a good comparison Osmo Action 5 and the iphone, so good job
To framing from iphone you could use apple watch
Didn't think of that, thanks for mentioning it!
