☺️ That's so cute how you said the post office guy was "elegant" & "beautiful" bc of how efficient and professional he worked. I feel the same way when I see someone working with great skill and finesse. Integrity is admirable and refreshing.
I understand what you mean about being "smart". I remember that at my job, I was told that I must say things with conviction at a law firm or I would cause distrust and uncertainty. This forced me to be more definitive in my answers even if I was unsure. It built up my confidence because I realized "smart" is subjective. People only know what they know. And if our intention is good then we are putting out good energy. We must also be humble when corrected. This has served me well in life and reduced a lot of anxiety because in fact no one knows it all.
I'm watching this video on my veranda. It's 8AM here in Serbia, a sunny morning. I'm having my morning coffee. The sounds of birds in my garden is mixing with the sounds of birds from the video. This is one of those magical moments. I just noticed I'm smiling. Thank you again for teaching me how to allow myself to be happy for (seemingly) no reason ;)
I am currently cleaning my room and listening to you talk. It calms me down and makes me think. I appreciate you so much! Sending love from Slovenia 🇸🇮❤️🙂
My son has autism. His disadvantage is clear to others because he is different. But his disadvantage (autism) also bring others together and makes people see differently which to me is an advantage. The disadvantage is an opportunity to challenge yourself. The strength to take the disadvantage and mold it into something positive.
I don't see autism as a disadvantage because these humans have a way of seeing what the rest of us can't. I admire the gifts of these special individuals because it seems they can develop some gifts and talents in a focused way. You sound like a great mother and your son has a lot to give to the world. We need his talent.
Poverty has limited your imagination in a different way than you realize- Influencers who are wearing those $50 pants did not pay for them! Companies give it to them so that poor people like us can look at them and think "I want $50 pants so that people will think that I'm not poor" but the rich people didn't even pay for them either lol.
I agree! This is the irony of society. When I was a student I worked in a high class restaurant, some of the clients were well known people in the media and the owner would give then some extra '' free food ", I just did not understand that concept. However the regular customer did not receive anything for free.
So I just wanted to add that our disadvantage can be different according to who stands in front of us. For some people our disadvantage is our strength and something beautiful and other way around. And sometimes we over exaggerate our disadvantages, which might be just inside of us and not seen by the surrounding.
I love your videos so much, and they always pop up at such perfect times when I need them the most. Usually when I listen to people talk for a while, I zone out, but when you talk I am so attentive and stay in the moment throughout the whole video. It's almost like meditation to me, thank you. Sending you lots of happiness and good health. -From Toronto My disadvantage is that I am very emotional and use emotion or intuition more than logic, but this is also an advantage because it helps me connect with people on a deeper level - even with those who are very logical. :)
Yes, I learned from Nir Eyal that To Do Lists don’t work. Only add pressure. :) so there’s a fun calendar you can add to and leave room open for options etc
thank you! you`re so wonderful! My disadvantage is pride, which leads to shame, therefore, Im struggling to overcome it. Then, hope to become decent...
Thank you so much for sharing on this topic and how important it is to rest and restore and take pauses from the productivity addictions that we all have in the Western culture lol. Your wisdom is such a gift and we are also very grateful for all of your sharing 🙏🏼❤
I look forward to your new videos all the time, thank you so much for being willing to do these videos. If I'm ever in your area I'll stop and say hi is that probably won't happen this side of heaven
I apologize for this being so long but for me, I feel like my disadvantage can arguably be shared between my skin color and how people perceive me as well as my empathic/sensitive heart. When I was young, I’ve always felt completely drawn to Asia. I find the vast variety of culture, music, art, and language to be some of the most beautiful things I’d ever been blessed to witness. I fell in love with so many different aspects form differing Asian countries but my heart yearned to one day work in the music industry in Korea. I have been immensely inspired and an unexplainable feeling draws me to work hard and get there. I’ve been learning Korean for two years now and I’ve been reading up on the culture, the mannerisms, the work ethic, anything I could get my hands on to try and understand better. Doing this always excites me! But as I’ve navigated through the years I’ve been met with many people who point out that my skin color would be looked down upon there and as a foreigner I’d be considered a “nuisance”. As an empathetic and an emotional person, these critiques, these projected ideals, these unsupportive words hurt a lot. It’s been hard and practically lonely, but I just can’t bare the idea of giving up on this dream. But the problem is that I let these words get to me and I allow them to have moments where they take away my happiness, my hope, my faith, and I feel like it’s holding me back. I just have those days where I feel so lost and confused and don’t know what to do to get to where I want to be. Honestly though, hearing you speak about taking your disadvantage and turning it into an advantage has helped a lot and I truly appreciate you. Thank you so much for being you! You always manage to make my day. You are truly an inspiration.☀️🌱✨
I would strongly urge you to think long and hard about the real reasons you want to come to Korea. It is not what you think it is. But I wish you the best.~
@@justineriley6369 I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that and some clarification would be much appreciated if you're willing. But to make it quite clear, I've had this dream and admiration for 6+ years and have navigated many different aspects of what I really want to do with this dream. I can say with a certainty that I know what it is I truly want and can promise you it's exactly what I think it is lol. I appreciate the support nonetheless.

Hahahah, and the killer suit! Are you a bank teller now? Madame.
@@yanghaiying haha I am not! But it’s nice to know the opportunity is there if I ever want it 😂 the suit was only $30 too!

I like your accent, English is unique and nice to listen to. I think you are attractive to view. Rest of mind is very important you are correct :0)
How can "procrastination", "thinking the cons" and "sometimes unstable of decisions" be justified here? 😂💁
Hi hanghaiying🥰
What? You speak so much better than me! It is insult for you to say that you speak bad!
