I love the way the German Shepherd knows its a baby. your German Shepherd is an amazing dog great job. iv got an Australian kelpie and a Yorkie, I was worried that my Yorkie dog would not take to the kelpie pup. and they inseparable.
Sophie runs around so fast you can't tell she's a dog; she looks like a hamster. Chaos is funny though. The way he vocalizes his confusion and interest is outstanding. Incredible to think that Sophie has absolutely no fear of the dog that is 100x her size, just tons of curiosity and wants sooo much to get him to PLAY with her. Great vid, thanks.
When we had our Yorkie, we had a much bigger dog mistake him for a 'stuffed toy".....the bigger dog found out REALLY fast that our little guy was 10 times as ferocious.....he sent the bigger dog packing, tail tucked and yiping the whole way trying to get away from our little 5lb terror, haha.
I have a 2.5 lb micro Yorkie. I am very cautious with her, but every big dog that sees her instantly become very protective of her or they want her to play. When she gets nervous my 12 lb poodle steps in. It's amazing to see.
@@giannar5541 All Yorkie, unless exceedingly well train, will bark. It's one of the things they were bred for and they have a really strong instinct to sound the alarm so you know they perceive a danger. You can desensitise them to different sounds, you can work with them to lower their urge to shout at every little thing and you can teach them the noises you actively want them to give you an alarm call if they hear. But it's a huge amount of work each day, starting from when they're about 10 weeks old. You need to spend minimum of an hour a day on training, broken up into short stints through the day while they're still small, slowly working up to a solid 2 hours a day of work together. You'll need to enrol them in agility classes, as well as the usual dog training classes all dogs should get. It's really important to only use positive reinforcement techniques, treat training, lots of praise when they get it right, ignore any times when they fail to respond correctly to the command. Give them lots of exercise, lots of play time and incorporate treat training into play sessions. To the dog they are one and the same. Don't take on a dog of this breed if there isn't someone home full-time with them, or where a couple have a staggered work pattern so one is always at home. Be aware you might end up with a dog that just wants to laze around napping all day. My Yorkie, The Gizlet, spends most of his life in bed cuddled up to me as I'm mostly bedbound. He wants very little time playing with his toy, he only has the one that he prefers over all others, he sleeps in his crate at night and most of the time hates going for walks. He doesn't really like other dogs much but he adores humans and human interaction. I didn't get him until he was 13 months old. Dogs have a window of time when they are puppies when they need to experience every type of interaction in the world before that psychological window closes. If you don't start fully socialising them during that period then you have a higher risk of your dog struggling with many aspects of life in the future. Unfortunately that window is shortened even further by when the pups have to wait for their vaccinations. Otherwise without their jabs they can catch some very unpleasant, and in some cases lethal, illnesses and be in a huge amount of distress and pain while suffering. But you can start lots of training at home in that time at least!
If that german shepherd had as much fight as that little yorkie imagine how badass he would truly be. Proves it's not the size of the dog but the fight in the dog that really matters!
I love the way the little tyke keeps hiding beside the the dogs legs, it will take no time before they are friends and playing together, as long as the big one doesn't sit on the small one they should be fine 😂
Beautiful shepherd. I had one for years when I was younger, but she was never around other animals in her puppy years. Found out the hard way she couldn't be. Was a great dog as long as she was no where near another animal
We took our big bad male GSD to a breeder's house to see a liter of GSD puppies ...it was in a bedroom and those little puppies attacked and scared the holy CRAP out of Harry! He jumped up on the bed terrified like "help me!" LOL it was so funny
These are my favorite lil dogs iv always wanted one cuz they can go anywhere you can & unlike bigger dogs there is a lot less chance of not paying attention to your pet cuz it’s to big to to keep with u at all times like say sitting with you on the couch - bed & watch TV lol
All it takes is one long paw on top of the little guy and its OVER. I have an 8.7-year-old Yorkie and they are fragile even at 7.4 pounds! Now about 14 years ago I had another little Yorkie who would lay next to our next door neighbors German Shepard who loved little William and would never hurt him, German Shepards have a keen sense of their size. Nikita and William would play and never had a problem. I would not let Eddie do this as he is too timid and is afraid of larger dogs.
They are simply holding the Sherman Shepard so he doesn't get to excited and kill the Yorkie on accident. Dang ppl y'all just think ya know everything about everything. He whining cuz he wanna play he is alright. you know if ya don't control the situation to an extent things can get out of hand
She's so tiny! Good thing you held him back. He could have taken on step and squished her. 😁 You can tell they both are excited. So much fun when things turn out well.
That Little Yorkie is so adorable. Is it just me? I was a bit nervous watching them, one quick bite and the pup would be a goner. How did you know the big dog wouldn’t chomp it? Maybe there was another introduction before this video.
The dog is probably sayin "thanks for bringing me the Scoobie Snack, but no A-1 sauce? They're not supposed to be this hard to catch," lol..."alright you little sh*t...you gotta learn some rules around here!"
He could hurt or kill it on accident, it happens all the time. It's not safe to let such a large dog play with a tiny puppy at first, especially when the german shepherd is so excited.
My neighbor's Mastiff was sitting & looking at my Chorkie puppy who was sitting looking up at him. I'm still not sure which I was telling,"Yes, that's a real dog."
I thought the little one was Chaos! 😂
She's running and jumping like the embodiment of chaos xD

I grew up with Shepherds and Yorkies..never had an issue...the Yorkies were always the boss!
Of course, Yorkies will always be the boss!
I love how Chaos is just staring at Sophie like, "What is this fuzzy, bouncy little pipsqueak?"
Sophie runs around so fast you can't tell she's a dog; she looks like a hamster. Chaos is funny though. The way he vocalizes his confusion and interest is outstanding. Pawed down like a baby seal?

Why does it sound like it's dying
Heru- deshet 😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
Lol
😂😅🤓🤣🤣 You're hilarious!!!
Shepherd wants to play with his new squeeky toy

No such thing as a micro yorkie; AKC states yorkies are "toy"; micro, teacup, mini, are terms used to get more money off buyers.
La Leaf, Is your micro Yorkie yappy? We are thinking about getting one but aren’t sure.

I heard that they just take the runts of the litter and they usually have a lot of health problems.

What beautiful dogs, both spectacular!
so cute little ball of energy
Yorkies have the heart of a tiger. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Shepard whining = “That flea is sooo big! I’m scared!!🙀”
If that german shepherd had as much fight as that little yorkie imagine how badass he would truly be. Proves it's not the size of the dog but the fight in the dog that really matters!
That's a bouncy little thing!
The German Shepard clearly just wants to play.
First video to put a smile on my face in a long time thank you
What yorkies lack in size they make up for it in heart.....they are like having a pocket sized german shepherd, haha.
So adorable I love how they play 💕❤️😍tiny full of energy little dust mite😂🤣😂😂
The cutest thing ever.
Cuteness overload.
So cute. I want to watch them play all day
I would never let such a small dog dog around such a powerful Shepard. One playful swipe and he's dead!!
Their so cute especially the energetic little puppy. 😂
Thank you so much for sharing this unbelievable CUTENESS!!! Made my day!! 😊💖❤💋💕💖
if you want to smile, watch this!

Sooo cute! My little yorkie Pekka looked just like that when he was a baby
She's so tiny! Good thing you held him back. He could have taken on step and squished her. 😁 You can tell they both are excited. So much fun when things turn out well.
Omg it’s a ball of fluff!
Abbie Willcutt лапочка
They def could of let the shepherd go. U can tell it would of been gentle. Worst that Cud happen is step on the little one. Wouldn't hurt it much
Two of my favourite dogs ever👍👍👍🥰
Thinking the Yorkie should be named Chaos lol. Good behavior from the Shepard.
Omg! Lil bit doesn't even know he could get eaten in one gulp. The German Shepherd is a great doggie!
Lord they all Precious
Thank you for sharing. Smart to keep the lead on the GSheperd. My yokie was killed so fast by another dog.
Mom can i just hold it in my mouth lmao hes like what is this ill be gental lol shepards usually are.
Adorable, very good handling of this introduction between such huge shepherd and the tiny yorky pup! They'll be good friends
At 0:25 it sounded like he said i love you😂💞
He DID say "I love you". lol
OMG! They are Soo adorable 😆!!!
I miss my yorkiepoo so much, but this video has made me very happy, and now I'm remembering all the best memories with BearBear.
Cute German shepherd and yorkie love them so cute💞😍💕
So adorable I can’t believe it. Hilarious the two of them. Dogs make us so happy. I want the little one so bad .
Awee this is how my blue pit bull was when my Yorkshire terrier came home. Bestest of friends from day one. 😊
haha teacup yorkie is sooooooo CUTE!! she makes me laugh!!
Gorgeous.
That Little Yorkie is so adorable. Is it just me? I was a bit nervous watching them, one quick bite and the pup would be a goner. How did you know the big dog wouldn’t chomp it? Maybe there was another introduction before this video.
He’s being held back by someone. You can see it with whatever is on his neck
It sounded like chaos said "i love you"
The German Shepard at 0:39 help sounded like
So much energy they will be best friends
Biggy & little-little. " I'm a dog what are you" lolol
York: licks dogs nose
Me: *dies of cuteness overload*
It really sounds like the German Shepherd is saying, I love him oh I just love him. Lol
Sophie giving him kisses. So sweet.
Let the big dog go. Don’t think he’ll hurt her. She has so much energy. Just bounces around.
OMG OMG this is too cute.....that little furry popcorn ball is precious and I love German Shepherds already.
That was just to cute, for a second there the shepherd lost sight of the tiny dog ,wow I would love to have a beautiful tiny dog like that.
Two sweet pups that can't figure out who is too small or too big. But want to be friends.
Amazing how little dogs have no fear.
JUST BEAUTIFUL!! YORKIES!! ARE VERY SPECIAL!! I HAVE 5 AND THEY ARE MY LIFE.I LOVE THEM!! ❤❤❤❤❤
By tomorrow they'll be sharing the dog bed...BFF.
How adorable 🥰
The dog is probably sayin "thanks for bringing me the Scoobie Snack, but no A-1 sauce? They're not supposed to be this hard to catch," lol..."alright you little sh*t...you gotta learn some rules around here!"
sooooo beautiful🥰❤️🤩
A real pocket pet😻
Mein Gott so was wunderschönes Medikament für jedes Herz wünsche viele glückliche jahre herzlichen Dank von Herzen für das wunderschöne Video
Jejeje cositas hermosas 🥰🥰🥰😁😁😁
German Shepard is thinking "that can't POSSIBLY be a dog--I'ts some new breed of rat that has managed to fool the humans"
Adorable!! Hope you still have both of them. Thanks for sharing! =D♥
Sooooo cute!❤❤😍😍😍
Awwwww... so cute! ♡
That is too precious why is he crying, is he wondering what that little Butterball jumping around?
FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! .... LET GO of the Shepherd! .... He won't hurt the Yorkie. ... He is IN LOVE WITH IT!!
He could hurt or kill it on accident, it happens all the time. It's not safe to let such a large dog play with a tiny puppy at first, especially when the german shepherd is so excited.
A male Shepherd will only kill puppies if a female is present and she's in heat.
That is not true. Many small dogs are injured by large dogs.
Stormy Geddon my mom friend has a yorkie and a German Shepherd they get along now but I dont know how it was when they first met
I agree that shepherd wasn't show any signs of aggressiveness!
Aww.. She's like 'common, let's play, what r u just sittin there for'
My neighbor's Mastiff was sitting & looking at my Chorkie puppy who was sitting looking up at him.
I'm still not sure which I was telling,"Yes, that's a real dog."
SOOOOOOO CUTE !
My favorite little dogs❤️
wow they look so cute together.....................................
I want her 😍😍 she’s so cute
