What set off the alarm bells for me was they never showed the window roll all the way down, it always stopped or cut video before it made it all the way down. That led me to this video haha thanks man.

There is legit static cling window tint through Gila window tint. You have to cut it yourself, but i have seen multiple reviews on it with a quick search. Looks like I'll be going that route.

@vetteonvettes757 I'm surprised you have not heard about the electronic tint yet? Supposedly it's around $600. You can instantly go from limo tint to clear tint at the push of a button if you get pulled for dark tint.
I've definitely seen that product in the past, but never explored it as it seemed over the top & probably really expensive. None the less very neat. I want to see the same self tinting technology in eye glasses in car windows. Maybe it's a cost issue? 🤔
I think it only works of your car is running, as it's tied into the battery so while it's great for driving, once you park it and turn off your car to go inside anywhere the tint also turns off which defeats at least half the purpose

I bought it, it’s a harder plastic but very sensitive to scratches, has a little tape strip and looks like crap when you can see the tape strip from the outside I’d say 6/10

Instatint is the real one, I did just get my order from them installed the tints to my 2023 Honda civic, yes there is thin 3m clear tape, yes it's hazy, yes it's customized to your windows, took two months to come, it's more expensive now then when I bought it. It's does ripple if bent, Side windows fit well, windshield not so much but better than nothing, temporary thing in my opinion
That's depressing.. even when you receive the actual product it's doo doo. 🫤

I knew it was too good to be true lol. First odd thing was there is no pre selection for car models. Like you just enter what you have. I'm like how would they possibly have the dimensions of every car ever lol. Normally if it was legitimate they would have a selection of pre made pre cut options they have dimensions to. That was first red flag.
