@@vilelapovs I had a gsxr 600 for my first street bike and I almost looped it trying to power wheelie so ever since then I've been scared trying to do wheelies. I know the duke 390 obviously isn't a 600 but I'm always too tense and I think leaning forward too much when I try to do it on the 390
@@coldspidey It's easier. Because if you can put that weight in the back of the bike, you will lift it easier. You have to put your weight the most far back possible.
In brasil they call "quebradinha" i think, the way I do its just for some style, but yes doing that helps the suspension be compressed to the wheelie go up more agressive! Doing that you can put the front wheel high in a faster way!
Did I get it right? 2nd Gear with 40-45KMPH, Clutch in, go to 6000 RPM , sit close to pillion seat and immediately leave the clutch??? I tried by but its giving a jerk and not popping up wheelie
Yes but you have to pull a little the bars. But maybe try it in first gear, but without clutch because the first gear is too aggressive to learn wheelies. Be careful.
@@vilelapovs I tried doing wheelies for over an hour today and I am able to lift the front wheel up but I am afraid to give more throttle to loft it higher. Any suggestion to overcome that fear? I went to 8K rpm and almost flipped the bike twice😅 Also dropped it once
@@Rehan_____ You only lose your fear by doing it many times. Learn how to rear brake when you lift and so it will be easier to control the wheel height.
Hi, no i dind`t change but i will check that, but the bike I cant some times wheelie in 3thr, is very hard but its possible. Mines top speed is like 185 km/h.
How much throttle do you give the bike when doing wheelies in 2nd gear? And do you always pull up the bike in 2nd gear or does it just go up by itself when you let loose of the clutch?
I don´t know how much throtlle but maybe i give half or more a little bit and normaly i pull the bike up to have her up faster but if you learning don`t pull that much because that gives you more fear and you can fall faster the bike have power to came up without almost pulling.
Man, thank you, felt as if I was doing the wheelie myself!
No welcome! 😁
You make it look very easy, I have yet been able to get the front tire off the ground with this bike.
You just have to lose the fear and the rest is practice!

Love from India🇮🇳 🥰
🥰🥰 thanks!
Do you have traction control off? Are you riding in street mode?
No, normal mode. I deactivate but seconds later the bike automatically turns on. So I ride in normal mode because the bike don't let me.
Hey, do you pull the handle bar on 1st? I cant do it only with throttle
In 1st no. In 1st the bike have power to wheelie without clutch and without pulling the bars.
@@vilelapovs I weight 220 lbs, maybe thats why it doesnt wheelie?
@@coldspideyit makes it even easier just shift to the back when u pull the throttle just make sure you have a foot on the rear brake

Is your duke Genuine front&rear sprocket? (15T &45T)
Yeah. I think it's original. I don't know the sprocket. But I am almost 100% sure that's the original sprocket.
why do you swing from right when doing a wheelie 2:02 , is there any use of it? if yes how to do it properly?

Do you power wheelie in second gear cuz I was not able to do pw in second
Yeah I can but it's not easy. In second I prefer to do it with clutch.

Thats nuts man thanks , will practice
Thanks :) be carefull!
Hey man did you do a sprocket change on your front to be a 14t instead of the stock 15t and that’s why the bike comes up in 2nd?

Whats your rpm 1 set on and rpm 2 set on please ?
In second its somewere between 6.000 and 8.000 rpm and in first the bike will wheelie at any rpm just by throle!
