Oh man i just bought a 2021 390. Now i'm scared this might happen.
Always pay attention to the oil level in the engine and you won't have any problems with your bike.

Its in my garage ready to swap the engine, but I don't have time for it but I have all the parts to get the bike fixed.

The 390 is a great bike. But since it produces so much power from a small 373cc engine the engine needs to be maintained by checking oil level and coolant level regularly.

Yeah stock. the top speed was 197hm/h.

Yeah I can but it's not easy. In second I prefer to do it with clutch.
Nice to see it can be ridden hard, when I get a bike I tend to give it a little hard time initially.
Yeah I think every bike (if you know how to) can be ridden hard. But this is my way to ride and to test bikes 🤣🤣
how did it cost to fix it
I will fix it myself so it will be cheap. In a mechanic maybe the engine rebuild cost could be like 1000€ to 2000€ 😅

Same thing happened to me. Mine was worse, the engine oil leaked and I lost control due to the oil on road, I ended up crashing. Since my bike was serviced regularly at ktm, they replaced the whole engine but I lost my trust.
That's sad to hear, man. I was lucky.

Boas, faz muita diferença de uma 125 para esta 390? Pelo que vejo Em termos de ponta da mais 40km/h e pronto, anda mais mas não sei, achas que seria uma evolução notória? E ela levanta só de acelerador em alguma mudança? Boa continuação de umas boas cavaladas
Boas! Sim é muita diferença, ela levanta de acelarador em primeira e com jeitinho em segunda tambem e chegas aos 170 por hora muito rapido. Basicamente é como se tivesse um motor de motocross. Podes claro sempre modificar com reprogramação e com os pinhoes e cremalheira e ela fica com menos força e acredito que chegue ou até passe dos 200 por hora em ponta mas isso ia tirar a força da mota que foi para isso que ela foi feita 😂 mas sim comparando a 125 para a 390 é uma diferença enorme em termos de motor, em termos de conduçao acredito que seja a mesma coisa.

where did you find new engine? I'm searching for days and can't find for ktm duke 125 2022
Im trying to repair it with welding but if I can't I will but used parts of the engine to put on mine. 2022 its very recent maybe you don't have parts to it yet in the market but do a search to see if the others years its compatible with your bike.
I'm thinking of buying Voge 125R brand new for 3200 euros, but have as option also used ktm duke 125 2022 with 7000 miles on it for the same price. I can't decide which one to buy.. What will you go for?
I would buy the KTM because I think it has better material and because if you want to sell it you won't lose a lot of money. For example, if you buy the new Vogue for 3200 when you want to sell it, you will sell it for 1500 or close to it. Ktm if you buy for 3200, you will sell it for 2800. But that's my opinion, you have to see what you think is the best option.

@@skyxvfx Mine is an 390cc and its common to happen. If you gonna buy a 125cc you don't have to worry with the engine blowing up. 125cc engines are reliable!

from what year is your 390 ? did you get it repaired by the warranty?
I think the KTM is from 2019. I bought it used so I have no warranty. The costs will all be my responsibility.
@@damirmujic6501 I bought the motorcycle used and there was no warranty option. But now it's not worth "crying" either. Now it’s time to fix the bike and better bikes will come in the future! 😁
