And that right there is why the 10 speed automatic is faster than the manual ZL1. You can't even dream of making shifts that fast right at the perfect rpm with the manual. I'm into drag racing so I always get the auto. And I've owned lots of manuals over the years. But when I got into drag racing, I started getting autos.
Where are you located and what's the price point for this Amazing package? Please and thank you for the video and information very helpful and informative.
guy with new ZL1: "hey i just bought this $70,000 car, and i would like to fuck my warranty and kick up the HP to around 800WHP" Cunningham Motorsports: "sure we can eliminate that pesky warranty kick your WHP to a crazy number all for about $25,000" guy with new ZL1: "sounds good, lets do it"
Is the zl1 on long tubes with off road connection pipes, Like the hellcat? .. that hellcat sounded pissed af but the camaro sounds more refined and down to business
LOL...I had to watch this muted at work. FYI if you watch with CC when he does the pull at the end and it shows the gopro shot it says [Applause] then [Music]. 😉
I’m assuming he was talking about a stock ZL1 a10 feeling almost as fast as a stock Hellcat; as they run similar times in a straight line stock? This whipple zl1 should feel much faster than a stock Hellcat..
Hell no, a stock hellcat barely puts maybe 1-2 cars on a stock A10 ZL1. An air intake and a tune and you would be ahead of the hellcat lol. I just picked up a m6 ZL1 and want to see if I can keep up with a hellcat on a roll, little lighter than the auto zl1 plus it has no sunroof so I’m almost a full hundred pounds lighter, won’t be able to shift as quick but we’ll see lol
@@fernandog4009 I turned in my 17' Hellcat lease a couple months ago and got a new ZL1 A10 for something different. After having experince with both I dont see a stock hellcat putting 1-2 cars on a stock a10 zl1 unitil maybe after 130 mph. Lower speeds the hellcat needs drag radials run to run with or maybe pull slightly on a stock zl1, as they cant put the power down effectively on the factory all-seasons. Manual ZL1 properly utilizing wot shifts from a roll should be close too or at leaset not far behind... Here is a real world example of what im talking about. Both have a passenger. ua-cam.com/video/9MYuh7ivgtw/v-deo.html&lc=UgxRnxnhcJRXHVgVaOl4AaABAg.9CeodcuJmCf9CfBt9KhgkO
Ben Jake pretty good video, nice to know where a stock zl1 stands against a stock hellcat. As I said I believe the m6 zl1 with no sunroof comes in around 3,850lbs I believe, so I would have the big advantage in weight against the hellcat, plus the no lift shift and rev matching I’m sure would be a huge benefit. First things first though, I need to get familiar with it lol it’s a bitch perfecting taking off from a stop on a hill. Maybe in the future we can get some runs(if ur in SoCal)in once I’m more experienced😂. I’m staying stock for at least the next year.
You get for what you pay for people, somebody posted the kit is 25k. . Is it alot? Sure it is. But if your in a ZL1 at 90k and pull up on a exotic at 450k and dismantle it! Then sign me up and I'll keep the other 360k... 😈🤘
Not unless the engine itself is FlexFuel capable and i believe they are not. U less the engine is internally built for E85, don't use it. I went through two LS engines from then2007-2010 era and a 5.0 coyote motor despite the upgraded fuel system. Only the V8 in the F150 truck is flex fuel. The stuff is not good for the engine. Do not use E85. The fuel filler ring or cap has the max E you can use for a reason. Mustangs are only safe upto E15, possibly E20. I ran E51 to 85 in a 2013 5.0 with fuel syst upgrade. The engine started acting weird and CEL came on and off. That lasted 8 months or 15k miles. Engine finally quit. Dlr told me I need to buy new engine because I voided my Powertrain warranty. I said no!!! They said we took samples of your fuel in the tank, in the lines and in the engine and found high amounts of Ethanol and engine damage to seals and gaskets.
If the car runs on E85 and meth. Will meth need to be added all the time or only when you plan on racing it. I’m looking at a car that has the following cooling mods: prospeed zl1 heat exchanger, alky control methanol kit, 160 degree T stat, mishimoto 6th gen expansion tank, and a cpr bumper tank. How suitable can this car be for daily Driving. Car is on a 2.9L whipple, FIC 30% injectors, LPE DI fuel pump, DSX aux pump and flex fuel control. Seller told me it can be ran on 91 or full e85 or a mix. It’s the methanol part that has me wondering since never delt with a meth car. Thank you !!
At $25,000, you get 200 more HP or $125 per HP. But the good news is that you should be able to run or beat the new Mustang GT500 and Dodge Demon. Is it cheap, no, but it's an option. Wish they have a 100hp kit as well. 750HP would be all that I need. Like the Hennessey package.
Thanks man, I was thinking the same thing. I'm putting down 690rw on 93 octane and 734rwhp on E60 (E85/93 mix). I ran drag radials all last year and want to switch over to a better handling tire. What do you think my best option would be? R888R's? I know I won't get the same traction in 1st gear...just trying to find the stickiest handling tire available.
Dumb question but how do I reset my camaro. When I disconnect my negative cable over night, it still doesn't feel right. Like laggy , no low end torque. Do I touch the negative cable and positive for a few seconds? Any advice would help thanks. I think maybe my throttle plates are off or something
Looks like this could be a good choice for someone who wants to use this car on the track as well as serve as a daily driver. Can we have a ballpark cost & what does this upgrade do to gas mileage?
Why use a whipple? I know it’s personal preference, but I’ve read that they’re some of the least efficient blowers? Personally I’m a magnuson fan, even through the blowers are smaller they’re super efficient.
Why doesn't the owner want to turn up the boost to 18+ lbs? Would it require more fuel mods? I maybe wrong, but couldn't he have got these numbers with the little 1.7L Eaton tuned on E85 with the supporting mods? Not talking shit at all, just curious. I'm looking for a 1LE now I will bring to you.
Why in your opinion the Hellcat makes more power on the same mods?, I thought the big whipple would cover the blower size gap between the stock zl1 and the stock hellcat OEM set ups
I didnt understand what the He@@# U were talkin bout. But it definitely sounds like U know what U talkin bout, so I gave U a Thumbs-Up. LOL That car sounds awesome!!!
10-12k for a decent head cam setup with full exhaust, another 10k for the whipple kit and 2-3k for labor. It’s reasonable, and you are getting a reputable shop. Go get it done cheaper and pay more in the long run.
These cars don't really get loose easily. Decent rubber and you'll hook and book. Mines at about 620whp and I have a tough time breaking traction above 50mph. This setup is good for more than 775 actually because their estimates are conservative.
That pull was insane.
Those cauliflower ears tell me you are not to be grappled with or even closely approached.
For everyone who thought the video was slow at first, just watch the whole thing. It's worth it!
You're not kidding about how that trans shifts. Flawless
Finallly a build for us mortals looking for good drivability vs difficult to tune meth, nos, extra injectors, etc.
7:16 that pull was insane😍
That motor sounds off the wall nice work
Damn! 50-130mph in under 6 seconds! That’s insane!
Downhill lol
DAMN!!!! That "little" hit did 50 to 130 in about 5 sec. Impressive.
And that right there is why the 10 speed automatic is faster than the manual ZL1. You can't even dream of making shifts that fast right at the perfect rpm with the manual. BLACK05GO1 Automatics from a dig & Manuals for High way runs
Slow Vert Autos are faster on the highway too.
Most modern autos are faster period.
Faster somewhat yes, but less fun to drive
JAY "Somewhat" is a bit of an understatement, but you're right about manuals being more fun. Nothing like rowing gears.
Where are you located and what's the price point for this Amazing package? Please and thank you for the video and information very helpful and informative.
That zl1 flys 👍🏼
Wow the A10 held the RPMs high like a CVT but obviously has the performance advantage of being a true automatic.
guy with new ZL1: "hey i just bought this $70,000 car, and i would like to fuck my warranty and kick up the HP to around 800WHP"
Cunningham Motorsports: "sure we can eliminate that pesky warranty kick your WHP to a crazy number all for about $25,000"
guy with new ZL1: "sounds good, lets do it"
Pay to play, nothing new
Sounds amazing, I love it. What type of cam is that? What brand?
Harold you wont regret it!!! added the kit to Benz
Is the zl1 on long tubes with off road connection pipes, Like the hellcat? .. that hellcat sounded pissed af but the camaro sounds more refined and down to business
😲 wow!!! Nice pull my dude and strong to💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Sounds super nice, i skipped to the pull, is this 850rwhp?
You get for what you pay for people, somebody posted the kit is 25k. . Is it alot? Sure it is. But if your in a ZL1 at 90k and pull up on a exotic at 450k and dismantle it! Then sign me up and I'll keep the other 360k... 😈🤘
Prime!
Camaro ZLS aren’t you that wanna be ZL1 ?
oneslicksix lmao
Sounds and pulls awesome, how much do you charge for that package?
You guys are located in California. E85 is virtually everywhere. No reason not to run a fuel system and flex fuel sensor with a Whipple upgrade.
I said no!!! They said we took samples of your fuel in the tank, in the lines and in the engine and found high amounts of Ethanol and engine damage to seals and gaskets.
it took about 6 seconds to go from 48mph to 129mph.
If the car runs on E85 and meth. Will meth need to be added all the time or only when you plan on racing it. I’m looking at a car that has the following cooling mods: prospeed zl1 heat exchanger, alky control methanol kit, 160 degree T stat, mishimoto 6th gen expansion tank, and a cpr bumper tank.

in total your spending roughly 75-80k which is actually a little less than the demon and gt500 so its still worth it but not by much
I felt the presure on my chest XD
Wow amazing!
You work on cars and train MMA? I noticed the 👂. That’s dope bro. Keep up the great content. Subscribed!
Lmao that could be from any contact sport. XD
And more commonly found in wrestlers so
RayCammed 426 he wrestled
Yeah i noticed the same
When you said that the [Hellcats are faster] is that stock blower hellcats or the 4.5L Whipple ones?
4.5l
What a beast!!!
Are you seriously able to maintain traction with the stock tires after adding all this power? If not what are you using now?
Nick Nick there is no freaking way. In my car I roast the tires so bad the power is borderline useless on the street.
Thanks man, I was thinking the same thing. I'm putting down 690rw on 93 octane and 734rwhp on E60 (E85/93 mix). I ran drag radials all last year and want to switch over to a better handling tire. damn I wish my 95’ Z28 could make those numbers

Where did you guys move too?
Looks like this could be a good choice for someone who wants to use this car on the track as well as serve as a daily driver. Can we have a ballpark cost & what does this upgrade do to gas mileage?
Smh 😂
Pretty good power I have seen those Shelby gt350 superchagerd make 875hp
billy heaton apples and oranges
that fucking trans tune is insane!!!!!!!! ohhh mannnnn
7:15 That road was pretty slope.
Why use a whipple? I know it’s personal preference, but I’ve read that they’re some of the least efficient blowers? Personally I’m a magnuson fan, even through the blowers are smaller they’re super efficient.
That looks exactly like my zl1...😀
That sounds nothing like my zl1 ...😥
Curious, why would you do this tona ZL1, and not just buy an SS and do it? (Besides the looks)
What package you have for a 2016 SS2? Do you have a procharger package?
Christopher Payton we do, yes
Those downshifts omgggg
Is it healthy for it to be shifting at 7k?
Mr ChaosTech it is when we’re done with it
My 2018 Camaro SS could use this 😲💥🚀✊
Awesome car. Bro, are you, or were you, a wrestler/grappler, etc... You got the cauliflower/badge of honor ears.
And they can make seen near 800rwhp with bolt one and a tune..🤣
What is the total price to make it like that?
I already subscribe dude😊
nightfall gray the best color in my opinion.
Just wow.
...can you mix this package with a Stage 3 cam kit?
What exhaust does the car have?
Why doesn't the owner want to turn up the boost to 18+ lbs? Would it require more fuel mods? I maybe wrong, but couldn't he have got these numbers with the little 1.7L Eaton tuned on E85 with the supporting mods? Not talking shit at all, just curious. I'm looking for a 1LE now I will bring to you.
Adding methanol, some shops have seen 750+ using the OEM Eaton.
When you get into higher boost. You need to revap the sparks let along the rings on the pistons. A lot of work for a few psi.
We’re looking to do a new setup with more fuel volume ceiling on a 1LE coming into the shop in the next couple of months
I'm going to be adding wither a Zo6 or ZL1 to the stable in the next couple of months, so I will be coming to see you.
Why in your opinion the Hellcat makes more power on the same mods?, I thought the big whipple would cover the blower size gap between the stock zl1 and the stock hellcat OEM set ups
v10tt lower compression on the hemi, bigger displacement motor, bigger blower.
The Whipple on the H/C is a 4.5L, the Whipple on the ZL1 is smaller.
Definitely bigger blower on the H/C but the H/C and ZL1 are both 6.2L V8 engines
Adam Griffin both have the same displacement
2009 ZL1??
I didnt understand what the He@@# U were talkin bout. But it definitely sounds like U know what U talkin bout, so I gave U a Thumbs-Up. LOL That car sounds awesome!!!
where are you guys located?
Right now we are in Houston Texas, but work with shops around the nation. Shoot us an email support@brcraceworks.com
Skip to 7:15 for the good stuff!
$25k? They better have twin turbos
Good luck with that….these cars are money pits once you look at a procharger or TT setup.
can you flex fuel a 2012 challenger rt?
what is this package gonna cost?
evo8kiko05 $25,000🤯
Is the whipple that much better than the Magnuson
Harold Kelly No, not really.
👍👍👍👍👍
Holy Fuck!
I need this pkg lol
Trying to get in contact with y'all to order an flex fuel kit
you have one of those cellphone things?
what's the limit of the lt4 pump and what was ur fuel trim looking like
you're telling us that that pump will be your dealbreaker? IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING?!?!?
leloodallasmultipass No, he's just trying to sound technical that's all. lol
lol
leloodallasmultipass ?
LS3 StngKlr ?
BOOGITTY BOOGITTY!!
25k for 100 or less extra hp. Exorcist. No question. Tons of uncertainty in this video.
The exorcist is 120k.... That's a c7 zr1 or a demon.
Works pn 2012 zr1
How much would this setup cost??
call them and ask for a quote
$25k I just looked at their website
biom9 lol fuck that shit
La DenaliHD I agree fuck that. You have that kinda money you probably not buying a ZL1
10-12k for a decent head cam setup with full exhaust, another 10k for the whipple kit and 2-3k for labor. It’s reasonable, and you are getting a reputable shop. Go get it done cheaper and pay more in the long run.
Hellcat You mean demon
Anyone knows what cam is being use in this particular car? I’m looking for something mild, not too raspy.
I think it is more reasonable to buy an SS and then tune it rather than spend all that extra money for ZL1 and then tune it.
John pan if you want to make close to wheel horsepower on a lt1 your going to have to buy a forged block the lt4 block you don't have to worry about
Downhill acceleration run at 7:15 adds at least 50 whp ;)
Actually down hill really won’t make a vehicle any quicker in acceleration. Been there tried that.
Pulls exactly like my N/A SS
You're full of shit. Just traded in a 2016 2ss for a 2019 zl1 and the difference between the two is night and day.
Twenty five fucking thousand dollars
Hell of a build, but damn all I can see is spit coming out of his mouth when he talks...
The whole nine

Yeee bb
Cauliflower
Doubtful of the 775 claim. The thing couldn't even knock the tires off on the street.

I heard this guy is not a nice guy
Def don't want to run E85 in an engine not made for it.
Expected better for 850
Fukkkkkkk
Say it don't spray it damn
Too loud and to much cam for my stealthy tastes.
Hey bro.. you got a growth in your ear. You should have a doctor look at it. That shit looks disgusting.
Well let’s see....130mph in a 45mph. You might want to remove that part of the video and be thankful nobody pulled n front of you. Nice set-up though.
That steering wheel looks like it belongs in chevys cheapest car. Do better GM
Slowmatic waste of money
