The Attenborough voiceover was absolutely awesome! I couldn't help but notice those few extra bites of dessert at the cafe had you working a bit harder to get offshore. :) Such a feelgood trip with the guys. I wish I had a group of friends that enjoyed the water as much as I do. My 50th birthday is coming up in March; I think buying my first yak is in order. Keep up the great content, Pete. I'll keep watching. Cheers.
Hello Pete, the video is very good, I already feel that I have a friend on the other side of the screen. Greetings from the Pitras Lodge Patagonia Argentina
I was so excited during this video, I could feel my blood pressure rising & that's no joke! Pete, this was a home run of a video brother! I loved the David Attenborough segment 😂 🤣
Hey Chazz, I bought that used in Maryland over 10 years ago. They do not make them anymore, so you have to find them on the used market. Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, etc...good luck! There is still quite the demand for them right now.
I have to keep reminding myself that for waters to look like those rapids on video, irl they must be a LOT bigger. Notice that they toss the Yukon around pretty well. I've had one close to 25 years now, so I can make a pretty good guess based on what I'm seeing in the vid. Not much like good old Pacific North West coastal breaking surf though *wink*.
HELLO! We are extending river miles so we can hit this section. We originally planned on paddling Marlinton to Greenbrier River Campground (right past Alderson), but Bacon Falls looks fun. So we planned to put in around Beard and take out at RedRock Campground. I see you referring to a "map" in these videos. I cannot find a river map to save my life. Were you able to find one or could you share your source? Thank you and Happy New Year.
“He signals the herd with a loud cackle” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
he he he!
I've yet to see a single one of your videos I didn't enjoy, learn from, and get inspired by. Thank you, appreciate all you share.
Thanks bruce! Im sure I will scud out on one of them soon, LOL...

Where did you get your yellow Yukon expedition kayak at that you have in your video right here I can’t find one ?😢

Right on! If it looks big on camera, it is huge in real life! I would love to see some PNW Coastal surf!!!

Hey Studda13, I actually make all my maps by creating paths and waypoints in google earth and then printing out the pages and laminating them.
Yeah, I use gaia app too. just wondering if you found something!

What kind of kayak do you have that thing is nice
That is my beloved Prijon Yukon Expedition.
How long is your kayak? I have a SE 465ft it’s 15’ would that be to long for the river?
14.5 feet. 15 footer would be fantastic
Could you do float that river in a SOT.
You might have a little trouble in Bacon Falls and perhaps the Alderson stretch depending on your boat and the water level...but yes.
👋
Thanks Shorty!
Red Bull... Dominance.... Sorry.. Trigger has Seniority.....
LOL! Love it RKB!
