Actually Better Call Saul is the ending to the Breaking Bad universe. It's not just a prequel, but also a sequel that takes place after the incidents of BB.
@@dan_hitchman007 ...That's where Better Call Saul fell down for me. It should have been just a prequel connected to the BB World. The irony here is that Walter wanted to be Heisenberg so bad, Heisenberg gave him power and respect. But in the end, Walter white is the only one who can fix Heisenbergs flaws and consequences. Walter basically realized being Heisenberg ain’t that great.
First time I watched this scene, I was still with my dad and he has surround sound speakers and a sub. The machine gun sound was literally shaking the room. My jaw hit the ground, it literally felt like the world just hit pause around me. What a fucking scene.
And the scene right after as well as jesse points the gun at walter "say you want this" "i want this" "then do it yourself" admitting he knows hes been manipulated until this point by walter but he cant bring himself to kill him
@tangetstone2.045 he didn't kill Hector though. He just used the mutual grudge to kill Gus, knowing that Hector had nothing to live for and wanted to take Gus out at any cost, and that Gus would do the dirty work of killing Hector personally. Kitt was just a henchman at that point, who cares about him.
I like that Jesse didn’t even say „thank you” to Walt. It’s because he didn’t have to, after how Heisenberg had been manipulating him for his own profit. Be he nodded his head with approval. Approval for that chemistry teacher who finally decided to admit his mistakes and let the boy live peacefully like he always wanted to, and deserved to.
The lovely thing about breaking bad is that Walter white always saw Jesse as his student, and always felt the need to protect/get him out of the game he put him into. Jesse's facial expression shows he understood that
People talk as if Walt didn't come to kill Jesse with the rest of them and only changed his mind when he saw him being treated like a slave. It was fun when this came out, and people were debating who liked jesse or walt more.fun times.
At the end Walt proved that he still cared for Jesse, he took him to the ground with him, if he wanted he couldn't, Jesse and Walt's family are the only people he ever cared for
Such a magnificent scene...so i just watched breaking bad last year and up till that point ive seen so many memes and animations joking about breaking bad and the end is just beautiful, its one hell of a send off to the show, still amazes me to this day
Honestly, I believe that Heisenberg died when Hank was shot, thus the man we’d seen being a new side of Walt, a side he has feared for years and that had taken over him, this show was so well written, I don’t recall ONE bad scene, Bravo Vince
When I first watched Breaking Bad, I was a senior in high school with the last season airing my freshman year of college. In my youthful naivety, I was like "Walt did nothing wrong except killing Mike!" 10 years later I understand what a bastard Walt was. Pissing away his opportunity with Gray Matter because he couldn't handle not being the guy. He finally admitted it to Skylar - "I liked it." There really was no other way to end the show other than Walt dying - glad he went out at least saving the man he came to view as a son.
I’d always wished Walt would’ve done all that and then when the last gang member was dead, you just see him and Jessie looking at each other, w Jessie thinking he’s finally been freed from the living hell he’s been trapped in for countless days weeks months…. When suddenly, a red and blue flash of lights appear on his face.. with the sound of several vehicles approaching… he looks at Walt in disbelief as to what is happening, only to be met w a menacing grin. Walt then takes the pistol, with a single bullet in its chamber, puts it to his head, and confidently pulls the trigger. He is finally at peace and met with the sweet embrace of death. He will never have to face the consequences for his actions. Jessie, still in shock realizes that walts final act of revenge was to frame Jessie for each and every death he’d just witnessed. After all, he is the last man standing. His moment of relief and freedom is quickly halted by immediate panic and fear. The police, who Walt had previously called anonymously, giving them their exact location and Jessie’s exact description, aggressively burst into the room shouting, guns drawn all on Jessie. He stands w his hands on his head frozen w tears pouring out of his eyes. Hes quickly put back into handcuffs just moments after being freed from them. Hes found guilty of the 12 counts of capital murder as well as all the charges he’s acquired previously. Hes sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. He spends each day of the rest of his life in a concrete cell, never to experience joy again. Hes constantly harassed, both physically and sexually. As Walt never experienced a moment of consequence or confinement, Jessie had acquired enough for the two of them. That’s why you never talk to the DEA.
Man that's insane, but that would have been so unfair. By doing so instead, everyone got what each one deserved, and the show ended how it started. About Walt.
Dude, that's so dark! He wouldn't have been found guilty of Walt's murder bc forensics would have shown, using the timing of the cops coming in, that Jesse couldn't have done it, then manage the body. Same with setting up the trunk gun bc there's no indication Walt loaded or set up that set up wearing gloves, therefore Walt's prints only are there. He would only get prosecuted using the felony death law which states that although Jesse didn't actually kill anyone, he's responsible by being part of the enabling crimes. Jesse also wouldn't get harassed imprison. Those same crimes plus his level within the meth business would give him respect & protection inside. Still, it's a good alternative ending. 😃👌🏼
If only other shows now a days would come to an end like breaking bad. Instead of going on and on and on and on and on and on and on. To bad money is the only thing that truly lives in everyone’s head rent free.
Damn this scene makes me realize, he probably knew Jesse was going to lunge at him. Just like the rest of the series, Jesse did exactly what Walt wanted him to do in the end.
@@the-Albino-Rhino I do. As opposed to the idiots calling everything woke if they dont like something. Just like everything they didnt like before was communism.
I still say Walter loved Jesse in some weird way. The stuff he did to protect him and avenge him says a lot more than what we actually saw. People always argue with me on it but actions speak louder than words.
I like how Jack and Hank basically had the same death •both were ambushed out of nowhere •both were severely injured afterwards but alive •both died from a bullet to the head Only difference was Hank, wasn't trying to persuade Jack to keep him alive he accepted his fate and told him to just do it While Jack was hoping Walt would want to know where the rest of his money is at and tried to use that as a bargaining chip to stay alive
Jesse will never forgive him. All he can see is the devil. But he understands that he came back to save him, and that earns him the slightest bit of respect.
This edit gave me goosebumps. It's like having that old memory come out with all the things you used to do with your friends. Fucking amazing. Show is an absolute classic. The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are the best ever. Everything else is below.
top three quotes from the whole series in my opinion.. 1. “you’re the smartest man i know, and you’re too stupid to see that he made his decision ten minutes ago.” 2. “do it yourself.” 3. “i am the danger.”
Walter may be disowned by everyone he loved. but he protected them till his death. one of the best pieces writing and acting we have. its one of the few show i get philosophical over. and it perfectly encapsulates the way this life lives. death prison or losing EVERYTHING.
Walt,by moral implications,bc Jesse was his student, young, without direction initially, whether already on a good road or not,...Walt was smart enough to not be blinded to his ultimate responsibilities as an elder.Trust,love,instruction,sacrifice...a degree of the Universe's shelf space was consistently remembered throughout this story.
If you think any of these was done for Heisenbergs ego, than you didn't pay attention to the show, Walter White was trying to do the right thing for once and Jesse just so happen to be on his way.
Fun fact: Israel used an automated belt-fed machine placed in the trunk of a car to assassinate an Iranian scientist in a very similar fashion to this show.
This show literally feels like catching fucking lightning in a bottle. I’ve tried with books, video games, movies and other shows, but nothing has yet to leave me so speechless. First time I watched this scene, I was still with my dad and he has surround sound speakers and a sub. The machine gun sound was literally shaking the room. My jaw hit the ground, it literally felt like the world just hit pause around me. What a fucking scene.
Jesse in season 2: maybe you cna build us a machine to get us out of here!
Walter in season 5: …
Oh yeah, the alternate cut. The orginal one has Walter going _"it's Walterin' time"_ and they all proceed to break bad

You win. I now have to watch Breaking Bad again. Third time.
"You gotta pump those numbers up. Those are rookie numbers."
That "fuck you but thank you" expression at the end from jesse is masterful acting.
And the scene right after as well as jesse points the gun at walter
"say you want this"
"i want this"
"then do it yourself"
admitting he knows hes been manipulated until this point by walter but he cant bring himself to kill him
@@AstronomicalAviationhe saw Walt had already gotten shot. And it was over for him.
He was a shadow all his life. He died with the world not only knowing him, but fearing him
This part of breaking bad made me feel dead inside but I still couldn’t stop watching
walter literally trying to be like Gus after killing him
Every time he kills someone in the series he picks up one of their traits
@@CircusFoxxoIn that case, he should have picked up some of Hector Salamanca's and Tyrus Kitt's traits
@@CircusFoxxo Walter made the bomb, which also killed Hector and Tyrus. Therefore, the two of them are a part of Walter's body count
@@tangetstone2.045 doesn't matter?
His ability to use people's hate against him in favor of his tactics were absolutely brilliant but laced with some real dark energy.
For a chemistry teacher, he changed a lot since the first episode.
Ultimately,Walt never abandoned his role in life as a teacher.
He came back because they stole his $80 million. The bonus was he saved Jesse!

What a great show man I even named my dog Tuco salimanca after the character from season two. Loved it
TIGHT!!!
Was Walter deciding to save Jesse a W or L?
Classic Heisenberg W
Jesse was always like a son to Walter, he was going to save him no matter what, biggest W of the show 😪
Actually I think Walt was planning to kill Jesse. Until he saw just how bad of a state Jesse was in, and realized that Jesse was being tortured.
@@rorschac009oo8 L take

The lovely thing about breaking bad is that Walter white always saw Jesse as his student, and always felt the need to protect/get him out of the game he put him into. Jesse's facial expression shows he understood that
Her saying Flynn instead of Walter, Jr, really shows how much she hates Walt.
This series had one of the greatest endings of all time and nothing will ever change my mind
Poor Jesse. He didn’t deserve any of this.
Loved that scene. Walt owed him that..
People talk as if Walt didn't come to kill Jesse with the rest of them and only changed his mind when he saw him being treated like a slave. It was fun when this came out, and people were debating who liked jesse or walt more.fun times.
At the end Walt proved that he still cared for Jesse, he took him to the ground with him, if he wanted he couldn't, Jesse and Walt's family are the only people he ever cared for
Such a magnificent scene...so i just watched breaking bad last year and up till that point ive seen so many memes and animations joking about breaking bad and the end is just beautiful, its one hell of a send off to the show, still amazes me to this day
He set Jesse free before he died
Everyone else: "Walter White."
Jesse & Todd: "Mr. White."
Tuco: "I thought your name was Heisenberg."
To think his cancer diagnosis caused all of this.
Honestly, I believe that Heisenberg died when Hank was shot, thus the man we’d seen being a new side of Walt, a side he has feared for years and that had taken over him, this show was so well written, I don’t recall ONE bad scene, Bravo Vince

Hey kids, just stick to liquor.
When I first watched Breaking Bad, I was a senior in high school with the last season airing my freshman year of college.
In my youthful naivety, I was like "Walt did nothing wrong except killing Mike!"
10 years later I understand what a bastard Walt was. Pissing away his opportunity with Gray Matter because he couldn't handle not being the guy.
He finally admitted it to Skylar - "I liked it."
There really was no other way to end the show other than Walt dying - glad he went out at least saving the man he came to view as a son.
“Your his partner!”
“Boo hoo get out”
Pride's a powerful thing, especially in a Nazi.
“You valid” typa nod. 👅
walter's nod to jesse means his truely finally free from walt. Incredible.
Game of Thrones could’ve learned a thing or two from this ending.
Still, the biggest villain of the entire show walked away.
Skyler.
You're out of your mind if you think Skyler was the biggest villain. Wtf is wrong with you guys?
She was
She was look how she treated Walt that’s his anger
Next next level stuff
That moment when walter realizes that jessie is their slave and not their partner is just heartbreaking
About Walt.
Get some help dude. Like actually seek therapy holy shut
Stupid
bro thinks hes an author, go back to grade 8
If only other shows now a days would come to an end like breaking bad. Instead of going on and on and on and on and on and on and on. To bad money is the only thing that truly lives in everyone’s head rent free.
Every character in this show did an amazing job with their roles I think.
Damn this scene makes me realize, he probably knew Jesse was going to lunge at him. Just like the rest of the series, Jesse did exactly what Walt wanted him to do in the end.

I still say Walter loved Jesse in some weird way. The stuff he did to protect him and avenge him says a lot more than what we actually saw. People always argue with me on it but actions speak louder than words.
Myth busters proved that the LMG sentry rig was realistic and worked
"yo walter, you cant park right next to the house"
"If you kill me, you'll never find where the rest of the money..."
(BLAM!)
I like how Jack and Hank basically had the same death
•both were ambushed out of nowhere
•both were severely injured afterwards but alive
•both died from a bullet to the head
Only difference was Hank, wasn't trying to persuade Jack to keep him alive he accepted his fate and told him to just do it
While Jack was hoping Walt would want to know where the rest of his money is at and tried to use that as a bargaining chip to stay alive
"Get 'em off, will ya?"
"Looks like they're already on it, Jack"
All enemies of WW make the same mistake. They allow him to speak before kill.
Jesse will never forgive him. All he can see is the devil. But he understands that he came back to save him, and that earns him the slightest bit of respect.
He is the one who knocks, he is the danger
This edit gave me goosebumps. It's like having that old memory come out with all the things you used to do with your friends.
Fucking amazing. Show is an absolute classic.
The Sopranos and Breaking Bad are the best ever. Everything else is below.
The ending scene of Breaking Bad really proves that even through all the manipulation and violence that Walt committed, he really did love Jesse.
Jesse's look, after everything that happened, the way he looks at Walter is such good acting.
top three quotes from
the whole series in my opinion..
1. “you’re the smartest man i know, and you’re too stupid to see that he made his decision ten minutes ago.”
2. “do it yourself.”
3. “i am the danger.”
That feeling you have as you watch the final scene, that’s what made the “slow start” worth it. Without the beginning, the end would mean Jack shit
Jesse and Todd being too chubby in the spin offs will forever be a let down
I like how Walter cuts off Jack in mid sentence as Jack cut off Hank during his speech.
Walter was always good at clearing up the debts. Incredible ending, probably the best ending to a series ever.
Walter was the fuckin man.
I think Walt did know Jesse was a prisoner and wanted to free him. He was obviously provoking Jack by saying he and Jesse were partners
One of the best endings to one of the best shows of all time. They didn’t drag it out like some Other shows.
Walter may be disowned by everyone he loved. but he protected them till his death. one of the best pieces writing and acting we have. its one of the few show i get philosophical over. and it perfectly encapsulates the way this life lives. death prison or losing EVERYTHING.
If only Dexter had an ending that was as good, and they had 2 fucking chances to get it right.
Aaron Paul did some of the best non-verbal acting here that I've ever seen.
Jesse and Walter had each other’s back. I think it was the dynamic of student teacher that kept them of life throughout the whole series.
Aaron's depression in this movie felt personal to me.
Walter was never gonna leave Jesse, no matter what
If you think any of these was done for Heisenbergs ego, than you didn't pay attention to the show, Walter White was trying to do the right thing for once and Jesse just so happen to be on his way.
One of the best endings to any show in my opinion. Probably the best I've ever seen.
The perfect writing, the perfect roles. some will argue that the ending was rushed, but I’d give up a birthday to experience breaking bad again for the first time.
