Craving a 24-fret 5-string J. I’ve been transcribing a song going up to high G and down to low C. This would make that possible for a fraction of the expected cost. Great job from Sire for filling the niche on this one.
I got a Sire V8 Bass Guitar from your good selves for Christmas. It's a beast! I have two Sire Guitars too and for me the best bang for the buck instruments available today. Pure quality at a very affordable price.
I am no astrophysicist, but I have listened to a couple of Stephen Hawking’s vids on youtube. I’m also not a bass player, but I always watch Lee and Cici on Anderton’s TV. I can now say with absolute unaccredited certainty, that no matter what time or space you find yourself in, Lee and Cici will make the bass seem cool.
Been playing my 4 string version of this since September, really love this thing! Took the pick guard off though and looks much better. Just got a five string version of this today as well. Such a great value for what you get! Totally recommend!
Cool having 24 frets on a jazz bass! ^^, Gotta admit, though, I figured it'd be a "showing off all the new Ibanez bass releases" day today, especially seeing how the Captain and Third Lee did a bunch of those new Ibanez guitars yesterday. Hopefully that's something that is in the pipeline.
This is what I've been looking for, i just wish they would let you chose the maple fretboard for the other colors , that vintage white doesn't cut it, i wrote them but they can't change what they have. I would have bought one already, and i love that it's more traditional pickups, and not the 18 volts,
Please do a new video on budget semi hollow and hollow bodies! Epiphone, hagstrom, sire, ibanez. Really wanna see if the hagstrom viking 2 is worth it. Theyre on sale for half price and idk if that just means theyre garbage or a great deal!
Tones sound good. Not entirely sure about the aesthetics of the squished scratch plate, but these are still nice looking instruments.Calling bollocks on the fingerboard lacquer affecting the tone.
Would have been nice to hear the 5-string and see it how it balanced. I've just had to sell my Modern Player Jazz bass because it felt like an anvil around my neck and I thought this might be a good replacement.
I got a v5 24, i wanted to try it, (I bought it used for half a price). The only problem is that the neck pickup is to close to the neck and becomes a bit difficult for slapping, otherwise is a very good quality instrument. Important is that you have to adjust the neck and the bridge for your own needs. The sound is to bright for my taste, and the tone knob is poor switching between bass and treble, not getting a great sound definition.
they need to extend this 24 fret option to the entire range, there's no benefit to not having the extra frets. if they made a 24 fret V10 i'd buy one in a heartbeat...
3:13 wow, these are so cool! And I love that deep carve on the back, looks super comfy Also, I need to admit... the first time I saw Lee I was a bit put off by him. After watching a lot more videos, I've realized he's a super cool guy and I have no idea why I initially dismissed him Just had to get that off my chest lol P.S. Cici is of course awesome too... thanks Andertons for all that you do :)
What's up Benny I bought the new Fuschia Les Paul i forget if i told you already short term memory and such with an absolutely insane top, if you have an email I can get, I'll send you pictures, the rosewood fret board is so dark it looks like ebony. Take it anyway you can get it 🥴💨💨💨 Peace
I’m all for additional frets… I love having the extended range…. BUT. Fender, in the 2000’s made a Jazz Bass with 6 strings for Steve Bailey. NO ONE makes a 6 string jazz-style bass, let alone a “budget” bass. Oh. And the V5 Fretless sounds like garbage. The pickups need a preamp. The frets give it a good grinding buzz… but the pickups don’t pick up the mwah I’m looking for in the Fretless. Lindy Fralin in cream for the win….
I love the idea of a sire but that truss rod cutaway in the pickguard destroys the look of these and their other basses. So weird to have a huge chunk missing like that
I hate how music stores have all these basses listed individually in their catalogs instead of just having the model and then have the color options with photos listed on the product page. Sire just spams all the catalogs full of these since there are like 5000 different color options and I bet they are purposefully using it as a tactic.

They make one of those too cuz😊
I love my v-7 4 string. I'm dialed in through the headphones and getting vintage clean bone tone. Bass number 10 since 1972, is the best.

I’ve been waiting for a proper demo of the 24 frets!
Like, one of the best releases from a company, in years

I keep on telling myself to buy & learn. But I like watching you guys together.
Love watching these two!
You can't beat a real drummer for these jams.
One of the best quotes I've heard while playing the 24th fret: "you paid for 24 frets, you're gonna use all of them, aren't you?"

Hi guys. Happy new year. Hope you had a great holiday season.
I would love to see a PJ one in full black like the Aerodyne series, instant buy.
Thanks guys for a nice review !
I like so much watching you play

My MM Sire feels like it’s made of butter it almost melts in your hands.
Alright, just bought one. Crazy price at the moment.
nice o0ne guys, they look good cc on fire as usual.
thanks
I was waiting for you to try the 5 strings version of those Sire 24...

I certainly hope you guys are getting the Z series in...

You know, extra frets same price, unbelievable!!! Ok it should be 2 £ on previous price. Thank you, thank you and again thank you!!!

Finally!
Waiting for your first impressions of the Z series. Did you do anything on them at NAMM ? Surely a Sterling Killer!!
Could you possibly review the marcus miller U7. There really isn't any user reviews anywhere:)
More bass vids 😊 24 f nice
Hope they can make a humbucker version of v5 24 frets
How about a short-scale 24 fret Sire?
they need to extend this 24 fret option to the entire range, there's no benefit to not having the extra frets. if they made a 24 fret V10 i'd buy one in a heartbeat...
Gotta love me some Mr Big (bass) at 6:25
We need more Lee!! And Cici or Nathan
Those are some longbois!
Where have WE been???? Where have you all been?
3:13 wow, these are so cool! And I love that deep carve on the back, looks super comfy

I wish they did the 5 string in white.
Try Cort Elrick NJS model. Is on the market about 2 years ago and you will find White colour. Sire is late on the game

It's great to see that but Sire is late on the game... Cort has already the Cort Elrick NJS Model on the market. I believe about 2 years ago already.

Lee and Ben the acoustic guy have very similar personalities are they related? 😂
2:32 only mark king jazz bass would have 24 frets ,cici
I'd buy one, but my heart belongs to Ukuleles... The 1920s Kamaka Pineapple 🍍 is the best choice for SpongeBob lovers!
I love the idea of a sire but that truss rod cutaway in the pickguard destroys the look of these and their other basses. So weird to have a huge chunk missing like that
I think sire basses are great for people who can't afford a high-end fender.
Wrong. Fender Jazz 24.i believe it is MIK .Discontinued.
I prefer 24 fret basses. You never see them with J pickups.

IF FENDER Had Any SENSE.....(They'll No Doubt Raise the Price!)
👍👌
Too many frets = too many notes. I'm pretty sure that there's a law that states 4 strings and 20 frets is the legal limit!
phirst
It looks so wrong and weird
Simpaticos pero pesima demostracion .....no venden un tornillo oxidado asi ....
