    So I've studied this video an dothers closely. I don't see any movements or lack of movements being made in the car. For example gyros autocorrect in mid air and his fingers are making these corrections the whole time. Idk. I believe he is talented and he also makes mistakes but makes fewer of them. ABS is permitted but many drivers don't like it because it can unsettle the car. Radios can do a lot which is all legal. This guy is simply a great driver as far as I can see.

      ...using his "biomech" gyro tool!
      That is the point. What was EXPOSED were his fingers at work.

      Whether he did or he did not have a gyro, this comment is naive. Cheating is more of an issue in the peak of each sport. Why? Because when you are at the very top, you are often at your peak of performance and no matter how much harder you practice or train, you cannot become better/faster. The only way to improve is by cheating.
      This is there are relatively higher DQ's for cheating in the olympics vs high level amateur events, that are under the same testing scrutiny.

    He isn't cadency breaking so much as he's got throttle mixed into the "yaw" axis of his throttle. He is pulling the stick back and then adding sideways input. You can see it and also hear the RPM blips aligning with the inputs at the end of the straight starting at 0:18 and 0:53

    I was told about the manual ABS style of driving by another driver a couple races back. Interesting too see it done at the top level. Could’ve gone w/out the clock bait title though. “Ongyro”- the nickname you get when you’ve undoubtedly proven your the best.

  • @slider30250
    @slider30250 5 років тому +3

    That doesn't necessarily mean he's using a gyro, the small movement at the transmitter could be magnified by an exponential setting that moves the servo 2-3 times the input. Adam Drake has used that kind of setting on his steering where you only move the wheel on the transmitter 5° but you get 10-15° at the steering servo. It helps your reaction times somewhat by minimizing latency in the system.

      I think its the fact his "thumbs are the gyro"
      The real reason for his speed is... "This is why he is so fast. It is a combination of decades of top level experience applied to a young talented racer, with thousands of hours dedicated to practicing and racing, that has finally all paid off"
      Pure and simple.....

      It's just a 2 or probably 3 channel stick radio which are very common in Europe. I recall when some of the fast Americans came to the Off-road 1/10 Euros warm up race in the 90s and decided to try sticks as the liked the extra throttle travel which helped them smoothly get on the power but then they quickly realised that the brake is a long way from full throttle leading to loads of crashes. This included at least 2 former World Champions and they quickly picked up their steerwheel radios again 😂
