- Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 is a black sheep in the series, with fascinating writing that really captures the oppressive and brutal atmosphere of the story. In this video, I discuss how the game marries game mechanics with narrative to highlight its atmosphere. Then, I talk about the real-life inspirations behind the game's main villian and how Far Cry 2's narrative can be tied to real arms dealers in Europe and an attempted coup in Africa.
In the previous video, I discuss Far Cry 2's gameplay, and how the game uses its systems to create a dynamic and constantly changing experience.
Thank you guys for watching! This project is finally done :D As I mentioned in the last description, this project has been in the works since my Firewatch video was published, so it has been a long time. Frankly, I'm totally done with Far Cry 2 for a serious while haha
Not sure what the next project will be. Have a few ideas for smaller videos, and another bigger project is bouncing around in my head. Hope you enjoy them!
