There is a TON of misselling by Fitbit
1) No snore detection - I was prompted to "mic access for snore detection" when setting up the device - however a fitbit representative said it is not available
2) Fitbit says "Hundreds of apps available" - however all 3rd party app have been removed
other stuff
1) removed Gyroscope for some reason
2) No plans for music control or support
3) No on wrist Bluetooth calling.
4) No Google wallet or Google apps out of the box (we did know about this before the purchase).
5) Inability to rearrange exercise shortcuts.
I've been a Fitbit user for nearly 10 years. These products leave a lot to be desired. If you're thinking about buying one... you should make sure that the data you're interested in isn't behind the premium paywall. My Fitbit Sense has lasted me quite a while but is now having rebooting issues. The past watches like the Blaze, Surge, Ionic all died prematurely. As did my Fitbit Alta scale. I want all my data in one place...so I am sucked in at this point.
Apps and Watch faces are not the greatest either.
Key idea... if you're interested in a particular feature/data that you see in the advertisement...make sure you check if its only available with the paid premium subscription because you may be disappointed.
If they added offline app support. I'd be sold. My sense becomes useless offline after a week. The time starts to drift as well oddly enough until Internet is restored.
@@Betancourtdm thats why I got a samsung watch...it works offline and I can turn my wifi off for months with zero issues. Plus ability to download spotify and listen offline and no stupid paywall while getting my data synced across samsung and google health.
@@30mattdavies the sensors on samsung are just like any other smartwarch sensors, in fact fitbit sensors are even more inaccurate. If you want the most accurate, you would need to buy an FDA approved medical grade devices used in health care aettings. Like ECG, you need a 12 lead one, for heart rate measurement you need the devices that wrap around your chest, for SpO2 or oxygen blood measurement you need FDA approved pulseoximeter etc. Basically paying for a subscription for a watch sensor is a joke if you want accurate measurement. Secondly all smartwatches have sensors which are not as accurate as their medical device counterpart so your point about accuracy is moot.
@@30mattdavies Also DC rainmaker is not really scientifically measuring anything and his study or research differs with others. I saw another review where they had Apple watch and Garmin as most accurate while fitbit was the least accurate. So citing DC rainmaker as sometype of accurate scientific study is not really smart.

That involves a cuff around your arm for accurate results for blood pressure. I don't even think Apple even has that on there watches.

Hello, a few questions for the Sense 2 + premium:
-Is there a possibility to load GPX file to follow an itinerary with the watch? If not: will it be possible with GMaps (without phone)?
-Is there a "back to start" function for outdoor activities?
-Is there the possibility to track outdoor swimming?
-Is there a fall detection and/or emergency contacts contacting triggered from the watch (as long as the phone is connected)?
-Do we see aerobic/anaerobic traning effect and recovery advisor?
-Is there a possibility to log blood pressure in the Fitbit App to complete the health picture?

Probably not same reason it doesn't do it now because it was made before Google bought it so it was not programmed with that in mind.

Regular Fitbit sense requires a premium service for all of the good snazzy details on health just got mine last year for Christmas the first time and from what I can tell there is no difference in the two aesthetically except for the Google and maybe the assistant I see no difference my left wrist is left with burn marks from the regular sense I just got it last year can anyone help me resolve any type of problem having I've gotten all updates but the burn part is not cool

I love the Starbucks app! The google pay doesnt work because they dont support many banks!!! They promised 3 years ago more banks would sign on but no new banks! The charger design is flawed! The little pins break off! Charger stops charging because dead skin cells accumulate on dots on back of watch! Should have gone magnetic charging! I hope they fixed the crap button!!! Software always glitches and they rarely update and nothing ever gets fixed! Must be made by arlo!!!!

Whats the accuracy of the sensors. I mean apple watches are the most accurate ones.
Can you fix the tracking so that at night it counts the entire sleeping period as a night and not several bits as one goes to the toilet, tosses around or the day changes? It’s really difficult and none sense for the user to need to sum up all records your app is creating during a night to know how many hours one slept. Plus some nights it doesn’t count all the time at all even with a tight bracelet.

Just to lert any buyers of retail understand. It may ask you to lessen your stress like the adverts. But thats a advert. A ping you are stressed mid shift is another mountain to climb over.

Interesting question, as they offer screen protectors on their website. Whereas my original Versa screen has no scratches after 5+years!

Please please add one option to turn off Bluetooth because I don't want Bluetooth radiatiing on my head because i sleep with the watch on my hand and will get my hand near to head.
I will never ever recommend or buy any fitbit in my life if there is no Bluetooth turn off feature.

Ich würde die Sense 2 eher nehmen als die Pixel Watch. Der bessere Deal. Habe aber noch die Erste und die wird bis zum Ende genutzt. Schön wäre nach Zeit X per Update die Benutzeroberfläche der Sense 2 inkl. der Google Dienste für die Sense 1.

There is no hardware change after two whole years. They recycled unsold hardware asking premium price and they added more monitoring time to already existing inaccurate services.

Not much of an upgrade in my opinion, it’s nice to have the Google wallet and maps additions but it’s funny how on their website it shows Alexa support but no Google assistant 🤷♂️

I find this brand useless from a support perspective. You buy a premium watch and if by an error it happens to have physical damage, you have ended up putting it in the dustbin as they don't have a repair center ! If I would be knowing this prior to purchasing a costlier smartwatch from fitbit that doesn't have a repair center , I would never buy that .
I think it was high time Fitbit brings in a new product line that can compete with likes of Garmin Instinct and above. This plain jane design is becoming way too boring. Also, instead of filling this with a plethora of features please make sure the most important ones work. My Versa 3 hasn't logged sleep for last 3 years. Whereas, my Garmin Venu does and does so accurately.
Funny, my very old Versa still logs my sleep just fine. This thing has been bullet proof and the battery still holds a decent charge.
The sad thing is just that fitbit are the best accurate sleep tracker under apple watch.. garmin and so is very inaccurate from tests.. But this payment bullshit hmm when make it much cheaper and atleast fix the bugs!

it's totally fraud brand ..i bought versa 2 it get tear down during the warranty period..i approached diffrent channel to repair it but from everywhere I got disappointed..
Charge 5 was such a half baked product with even worse customer support that unfortunately I can't trust you again.
