- Watch Anna Leigh Waters / Leigh Waters complete against Jessie Irvine / Catherine Parenteau during the Women's Doubles Winner Bracket Final
The patience these players have is amazing. I'm just a beginner and seeing how they keep going drop, drop, drop, drop... until the opportunity arises is really great. Really instructive.
Jesse Irvine was really outstanding this match. Superb drop shotting thru transition into beautiful dinking rallies!
Those Waters girls are hard to beat. Great match.
Great video quality, good announcing. But I did hear that the tournament was horribly run. Same as 2022. Just what I heard from players.
Great game
Energizer bunny.
Scared to hit it anywhere near ALW. 100% hit to LW....
stunning
is pickleball what you play when you cant make it at ping pong or tennis ?
Maybe add '2021' to the video's title.
why doesn't Jesse wear a hat to help her in the sun?
Who picked the music.
What are the chances we will see Anna Leigh playing on the women's pro tennis tour (WTA)? I think it would be cool to see a pro pickleball player going to the WTA tour, rather than a pro tennis player going to pickleball.
Sorry to burst your bubble but 0%, I doubt she'd ever break into the top 10,000. There's a reason she moved to pickleball as this is where she can succeed and earn money.
Tennis is an entirely different game!
26:43 illegal serve. Propelled a spin on toss.
3:03 She spun the ball on the server. It was my understanding that spinning the ball was illegal, no?
It was legal during this time, but I think they recently changed it to where you can't.
Has Pickleball come to South Africa?
not excting. good only for kids or seniors..too slow..
Irvine backs off the kitchen too much.
Both Anna Leigh and Leigh Waters need to have better depth on their serves and groundstrokes. I can't believe how short some of Leigh Waters' serves were landing. If you consistently serve like that, get ready to be put on your heels.
I didnt know Toddler Tennis had a "Championships"....
😂🤣😂🤣
Always a moron!
this is a great to watch if you need to fall alseep...who needs melatonin with serves like that
So booooooring
Zzzzzzzzzzz
go away.
padel has better skills, I am surprised people went crazy for this
pickleball's a lot more accessible because how often are you going to be able to find space/materials for a padel court.
@@d4ntoine134 zero skills, its got boring rallies made for people who can't play tennis
@@d4ntoine134 but more boring
I've never played Padel, but it looks REALLY fun. Pickleball does have several advantages that contribute to its faster growth. Like Iceman says, Pickleball takes relatively low resources and space compared to most racket sports. Then there's the INCREDIBLE social opportunities it offers (but that's a consequence of the other factors.) I think the most important factor is that the game involves lots of action and movement, while the equipment is light and puts little stress on the body, so that while anyone can play, more athletic people don't find it boring. Pickelball is absolutely perfect for people like me, older athletes who still want to stay active in a more active sport than Golf or Shuffleboard, but don't really want to risk the injury potential of Soccer (my sport in my youth) or Basketball or the virtually inevitable "tennis elbow" from other racket sports. Trust me, as one who has played MANY sports, Pickleball is a HELL of a lot of fun. Try it if you can. You won't be sorry.
@@user-be5qg7mr1s You should really find something more fun to do than trashing things you know nothing about. Might I suggest Padel? It looks fun. Or Pickelball, if you're not afraid to actually compete against real people?
