So, on the last one they reversed the call and said it was in. What happens? I know the return ended up short but that could be because it was called out in the first place. Do they redo the point?
Forgive a noob question but I’m confused about balls that fly past the net, not over. In the first and second point seen, there’s a moment when the a side seems to hit the ball over to the opponents court without it passing over the net. I see conflicting statements on whether this is legal play. Secondly there are several balls that seem to volleys where the momentum carries the player OVER the NVZ, but they take care to land outside on the side. This strikes me as against the spirit of the NVZ but clearly seems legal.
Disagree. I've always watched the Nadal and Federer , etc. highlights but can't watch much of ordinary tennis matches. I really enjoy watching pickleball. Maybe I can just relate to it more but a lot less time between serves helps. Dinking can get a little boring in PB but so can numerable baseline hits in tennis.
BRO it’s amazing to play but it depends on who your watching. the amateurs are not that fun to watch like at all but as soon as you get near my level and you’re playing against better, players is a lot more fun to watch
@@DJHydroFlame I watched this video a long time ago and I thought these were top players, and I didn't think it was great to watch. Reminds me a little of badminton I guess, which is not terrible to watch at a high level.
Lol! Ya ping pong is honestly way more exciting and honestly probably a better work out because it's easily twice as fast if not faster. They should play real tennis
I think this sport is for people who don't have many aspirations in life. On the one hand, they could play tennis but it must be physically very exhausting, or they could play ping pong but it required a lot of technique and precision... That's why Pickleball was created, just right in between, for the weak.
It’s called table tennis, not ping pong. As a competitive table tennis player just who started playing pickleball to have fun with his wife I find your comment incredibly stupid. Not everyone has the time, energy, or resources to practice conventional sports. Pickleball is accesible and fun to play, it has its merits.
At pro level that will almost always be the case, but if you watch closer, it's usually the person on the left (if both players are right handed) who jumps in front in order to hit a more powerful forehand. And the pros put the stronger player on the left, again if both are right handed. When I play, at a much lower level, right handed women jump in front of me when they're on the left, it's just normal for the forehand to be stronger. I sometimes play with a left handed women and we do the opposite. When she's on the right, she jumps in front because her forehand is better than my forehand. But when I'm on the right, I jump in front, because my back hand is better than her backhand.
I have said this on other posts, I think the APP should disallow volleying in singles, this would create actual baseline rallies. They need to make pickleball play as much like tennis as possible.
I had a different/similar idea while playing singles myself. What if for singles, the ball must bounce 4 times instead of twice before being able to move in and volley? It would produce longer rallies, and make it a bit more challenging to approach the net and volley. Plus we’d get to see a bit more shots from the baseline
ima be honest all these points look like me and my teams when we go out to play like, if nothing happens in my time in college for tennis and I dont think I can go any further in tennis then I will do Pickleball cause it is hella fun and so much easier, already past the 5.0 mark but I dont have the time to go to those places to play
Ima be honest with you. No you don’t look like that. I’m sure you have good points but grossly overestimate how you play if you think you are competing with the top pros.
@@Goofymonkey11 ive accumulated over 1,000k from tournament wins I've played with a friend in Florida, pickleball is the easiest game for me too understand, he has played for a year and is already in the top 50, racket sports are my shit and until real athletes come to this sport a little above average kids like me and my bro will dominate this sport easily.
That was some crazy games keep it up
GREAT selection! I usually see one or two rallies in these highlights videos that are not that great, but everyone of these was spectacular.
Anyone else here because they got some pickleball paddles and wiffle ball for Christmas? I didn't even know what it was.
🤣 yes!
Check it out, then, because if you're like millions of other people, your life is about to take a big turn for the FUN zone.
That is so funny, Kyle. You just made all of us pickleball players laugh. Have fun. Get a few lessons. And you may get hooked like so many of us

The fact that these are a year highlights tells you everything about it.
I was watching insane padel rallies and was thinking "what would best pickleball rallies be like?". Exactly as I imagined it turned out.

Noice! Merry Christmas everybody!
I'm only here because I didn't know what pickleball is
Lmfao same.
Thanks for the content. These are the best highlight videos on the internet
That's a great shot.
No way, Padel it’s another world!
Noooo
That one shot where the guy had to move FIVE FEET was INSAAAANE.
7:53, didn't she need to send the ball over the net rather than to its side?

2:18 ben's forhand semi-cross court dink
A good portion of the screen is cut out in my video...Did anyone else have this problem?
Foot fault at 2:28?
Way more fun to play than tennis. Unfortunately, way less fun to watch...

If you say this it's because you are so bad at tennis
Other way around for me
8:58 out or in
From slowmo it looks out
seems like MINI TENNIS
That was out
Probably a fun sport to play, but really boring to watch.

"the ball is cracked" ... let me guess, you have to constantly buy new balls.
No, balls breaking happens after a long time
But I recommend buying a few extra balls just incase if you lose them
Bruh, when the other team is so far back, why not just softly hit it in the kitchen to let it double bounce… 🤷
Got curious about pickleball, looks fun to play but quite boring to watch
whats with the hellish no style dull music, thank god you turned that off
Beyond cheesy

No women at all play in MLB where everyone stays in their assigned slot all of the time. What a surprise.
This game look so dumb.
A woman sport finally.. 😂
Americans: pickleball is very very boring. 4 people in 5 square meters. Even disgusting padel is more fun.
Padel is way more exiting to play and watch i can guarantee you that. And I played tennis before.
Watching not athletic ppl battles ohh....😅

You are being facetious, right? That's exactly the opposite of what Pickleball needs.
Or you could play tennis
