The k&n lawn mower filter fits and improves performance as much as changing the exhaust.

Love the bike. I am doing the exact same thing to mine also. So far Ive done the handlebars, exhaust, painted it matte black, and digital speedometer.
I plan on doing the carb, airbox, forks and swing arm next. It'll take sometime but itll be worth it and fun

Fly Tape is the cheapest and most effective way to control flies. Buy a pack of half a dozen and hang up every one of them in your garage. You'll be surprised how quickly they start to get stuck. Let them fill up, take 'em down and throw them away and just keep hanging up new ones until they stop filling up.
Edit: Quick question, I read that the TT250 had some kind of charcoal filter on it. What's that about?

Can’t you just put a universal K&N clamp on filter in there?

kn filters let through so much shit. that is the last thing that should go on any motor. hope that helps.

You didn't actually improve the airflow at all ...I'm sorry to say! however you can fairly easy
by making 2 ...1" hole saw holes in the lid and use a plastic cap from a water bottle or gator-aid bottle and hot glue them over the holes and trim the back edge of the lid into a scoop like the center one is... 3 would be better if you have that many caps ! the reason I say you didn't change a thing is the fact that on the underside looking as the air-scoop the Hole it is glued over is the restricting factor not the rubber on the top so the solution is to add more holes
but you want to keep the water out TOO.... so use a cap of some sort and open up one side of it and silicone or hot glue them on real good....
I am in the proccess of adding a 30mm Nibbi carb to my TT250 and have been considering
    performance
    .....
