I'm only 15 minutes in and this is one of the BEST Alumnae Chapter Probates I've ever seen. In fact, it is MUCH better than a lot of undergrad probates I've seen RQQ-OOP
This has GOT to be one of THEEE best shows I've watched PERIOD!! It was so well done. I can only imagine how long it took to put this together. I really loved how each lady represented themselves even with the long line. Congrats ladies!! Skeee-oop! 💗❤
I always thought that women waited to pledge in the Alumnae chapters because it was easier than pledging in undergrad. It seems that they do work also- no one just walk in.
If anything, it’s harder in an alumnae chapter. Many of these women have families. To have to leave your children every night to be part of the membership process is very difficult. At least in college, most are just single and childless with lots of spare time. Also, alumnae chapters don’t accept new members often. A chapter near me waited 15 years between lines!
It’s the same process for each chapter no matter the level. Lots of us didn’t get a chance in undergrad because the line was shut down due to the decisions of the chapters there. By the time they can start again, we’ve graduated.
Thanks for this great reminder for me to be blessed and fortunate to a Delta! God has been so good and kind to connect us with a "true sisterhood, who continuously practice what we preach!" Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated for life! Women of grace, fortitude, sophistication, trailblazers and eager to become positive influencers and world changers! Shalom "Peace" and abundance of more than enough Blessings!
If you pledged in undergrad, after graduating, you can have your membership transferred to the the alumnae. If you are not, you must be a graduate and meet the requirements to join an alumnae chapter.

In some cases there was no undergraduate chapter on their college campus.
Or the undergrad chapters are off the yard for the time you are at the university
That is definitely untrue.

Is being a soror as an undergrad a requirement before you can be accepted into an alumnae chapter?

Deltas be having bigger lines than AKAs. Interesting.
How old is too old to pledge? I’ll be 32
Did you watch the video at all?
You're never too old!!!
Age doesn’t matter if you are deemed worthy of the honor
I love the Deltas, I always wanted to pledge but never went to a university. I'm in school now getting my RN and I'm 52. How do I start the process?

What is 73° of distinction and I that alumnae is for older PEOPLE no offense but that what it looks like
It's not for older folks, its the graduate level for the ones who didn't want to do the undergrad level and 73 degree is their overall line name
@@seanalatricetolbert7395 and who also didn't get a chance to do it in undergrad!
