- Welcome to Zacatecas City, Mexico! Located in central Mexico, Zacatecas has historically been known as a 16th-century silver mining hub and produced a fifth of the world's silver. The property from silver led to the development of the city's ornate churches and colonial buildings. We explore the historic Catedral de Zacatecas, built with pink stone and ornamental wrought iron.
The city sits above eight thousand feet high and is known for numerous religious and cultural festivals throughout the year. We take the Teleférico de Zacatecas aerial tram, explore the hotel Quinta Real Zacatecas which is a converted bull fighting arena, and check out an impromptu religious festival.

I know! We missed that, I need to go back
Did you know that it's widely believed that Zacatecas (City) has the WORLD'S DEEPEST UNDERGROUND NIGHT CLUB/DANCE HALL? No proof of that, but many claim it is. Please verify since I don't want to lie to you! I don't know how far down the elevator goes, but I hear that hole is also pretty WELL-LIT!! (I guess it NEEDS to be, dudn't it?? lol)
